The Pink Door

The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
Spectucular restaurant to celebrate my birthday and a girls trip. Will highly recommend it to others. The back room is beautiful especially with the gorgeous views. The ambiance was great. We enjoyed the musical performance during dinner.
The Pink Door always pleases and is a great place to meet friends or have a cozy romantic dinner with your spouse. This time I went for a lunch with the girls and selected something off the fresh sheet. It was fantastic as always. We shared a carafe of the house red wine and spent a couple of hours chatting away the afternoon. I don't think you would be disappointed with any of the menu items but the restaurant is popular and can be a bit noisy when it fills up. I would suggest making a reservation and shooting for an off time like 11:30am for lunch or a 6:30pm dinner.
Great atmosphere, the acrobat performer really set this place apart
Very nice restaurant! Love the ambiance. Nice place for a first date. They have nightly entertainment. Check their website before you book. Also make sure you make a reservation because this place fills up quick. The food was very good!
It seems over rated. I feel like there is a lot of tourists because it’s so near pike place. The show in the bar area was lovely but other than that the food was good but nothing special.
What a wonderful night wonderful food and drink plus a show. The aerial ballerina was just wonderful. Coming from “circus town” Sarasota, it was an impressive show. Did I mention the food was outstanding. A must do night in Seattle.
Great food and view. We went for lunch; I plan to visit again but for dinner so we can enjoy the musical performances as well.
We booked a table at the Pink Door hoping to see the entertainment that it is known for. However, I did not realize that you have to book a table at the bar or lounge area to see the shows during dinner. If you are sitting in the dining room, you can leave your table and return after the show. The food and service were great as was the ambiance. I will definitely return!
Celebrating a grad school graduation and new jobs
Had lunch with my daughter and cousin on Saturday. What a beautiful afternoon! Oysters were amazing and Pink Door Caesar salad with Dungeness crab was delicious. Thank you for a special day.
The best - as always. We’ve been going for 26 years!
We had a wonderful afternoon at the Pink Door. We were very excited to get a window seat overlooking the Pikes Market Place. The service was excellent and the lasagna was the best I’ve ever had. It will definitely be one of our stops whenever we are in Seattle.
Iconic and classic place to dine in the Market. Never disappoints!
My girlfriend and I had a great experience here. The entrance is unassuming, and could easily be missed, but is a namesake pink door. The interior ambiance was nice, although it did get quite loud during lunch. We got a table in a section which overlooks the bay, which was nice too. The food was very tasty (we got lasagna, a seafood stew, tiramisu, and prosecco wine) with big portions. Service was slightly hurried due to the busy lunch hour, but was still friendly. The restaurant also has trapeze and burlesque shows, but unfortunately none were scheduled at the time we were there.
Highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Pike Place, but reservations are a must.
I mentioned in the comments section that it was our anniversary and the staff sat us at a window seat and gave us two complimentary glasses of Champagne. It was great.
Everything about my experience at The Pink Door was amazing. Highly recommend.
The pink door was a great choice for a special diner date. The ambiance was perfect.
The food was excellent. We wanted to come here for the entertainment which was not happening til much later the evening we were there. The service was very slow and sub par. Prices are quite high for what you get.
Service was poor. Food was really good. Great atmosphere. Due to the service, I wont return. I think they are resting on their laurels.
Great restaurant...got a reservation the day of...probably because of the snow event...but the ambience was great and the food was fabulous. Was a great night.
Took my sister for get 65th Birthday and it did not disappoint.
Made reservations in the bar area to enjoy the arial act.
Great service and found good value for the money spent.
Will definately return again.
The Oysters pink balsamic shaved ice mignonette was amazing. The Tuna Crudo followed and the smoked olives made it unique and delicious. The entree was the Pappardelle alla Bolognese was wonderful. Service was impeccable. A very special evening.
This place was AMAZING! The only thing was the service was a bit off, but I would highly recommend to anyone!
Love this place! Always make a reservation when we come to Seattle
Food was great! Wait staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Some of the finest Italian Seafood in PNW. Make sure to book a table or your wait can be very long.
Well worth the wait.
Had an awesome experience! Great wine pairs to seasonal dinner entrees. We will definitely be coming here again.
Food was fantastic and staff were pleasant. Beautiful restaurant with a great ambience.
The music prevented us from hearing the table next to us but we could hear each other so the noise level was perfect.
They had a delicious fixed four course meal for New Years Eve. I dined alone and the staff was very attentive and awesome. The owner of the restaurant walked around to each table and spoke with everyone. They made sure it was a special experience!
Pink Door has always been a favorite- and this NYE they literally “crowned” it!!! Dinner was delicious, service was amazing, and Jackie gave me a NYE crown handmade by a man in NYC, truly unforgettable! Thank you!!! xo
Best italian in Seattle
Great food and wonderful ambiance
A trip to Seattle is never complete without a meal at the Pink Door.
Good was AMAZING. My drink was ok and expensive for how small it was, but still beautiful
Honestly it's a nice looking place to go to. But the food isn't as good as I thought it would be. I've had better at cheaper locations. Good service though, and beautiful decor.
Absolutely loved our evening here! We will definitely be back.
Great Ambiance! Food was excellent. We had cioppino and winter risotto. 8yrs old had pasta with marinara and loved it.
