The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
Vacation date night
We had an amazing dinner (as usual); however, this was the first time we caught the Cabaret Show. We notified the hostess that we were interested in the wait list. The staff was amazing! They set us up right in the front row. Great show and great staff!
Great fun, old speakeasy vibe-wonderful food and service, outstanding view! Our only problem was finding it-GPS got us in neighborhood, had to ask 2 local security guards where it was (hint, look for the alley with the tables and lights above the PPMarket)!
Really, enjoyed our meal. The waiter was good, he was especially helpful in helping us decide on a wine.
Service was great and food was very fresh and tasty!
The outside patio on a nice weather day is a fantastic place for lunch during a visit to Pike’s Place market. Right inside the market blocks, but you’d never know it in this secluded restaurant. Great food, service, and ambiance.
Great food. Fabulous French fries
Trip to Seattle. Lasagna delicious.
Lovely experience sitting on the patio. Raining outside but we stayed cozy and dry. Views were great even with the cloud cover. Food and wine amazing. Would go back.
The Pink Door is my favorite place to celebrate. Service, food and ambiance are all amazing.
Excellent food as always. Service this time was somewhat lacking. This would not stop us from coming back.
The reviews on this place are great. Its not terrible, but for the hype and price I was pretty disappointed. On the waiter's recommendation I tried the rigatoni, I can only assume that the noodles came from a box at Safeway. My partner and I each ordered a cocktail, they both tasted like scented soap.
The food was meh, I would have not been horribly disappointed if this is what I had gotten at Olive Garden, but there is a reason I didnt go to Olive Garden. The drinks were pretty terrible.
We had my sisters birthday here, it was beautiful well lit and not too loud. The meal was amazing, I had a summer pasta dish. We loved it!
I have been coming here for over 30 years. Always a treat
Making a reservation is complicated.
The Pink Door was absolutely incredible! It was a tad difficult to find but was a wonderful experience once we found our way. The interior was absolutely stunning and the food was top tier, high quality authentic Italian delicacies. The price range was average for a restaurant, ranging between the cheapest $5 appetizers and the more expensive almost $30 plates, but a quality far betond any other I have ever been to. Absolutely delicious, filling, and beautiful. Would 100% recommend for business meals, dates, or family outings. Wonderful!
Awesome dining experience and the band awesome!
This place was so amazing! There were so many things to choose from I had a hard time deciding. I went with Dungeness crab risotto and was not disappointed! My dad got the lasagna and my mom got the seared scallops. Everything was delicious! I will definitely go back my next time in Seattle.
On time. Excellent service. Excellent food & menu. A taste for everyone. Highly recommended.
Stopped here for our anniversary dinner while on vacation. Great time! Excellent service and food. Definitely recommend.
Amazing! Highly recommend the Pink Door!
Hard to find though as I didn’t see any signs.
Excellent service and incredible food. Definitely one of the best in Seattle.
There's a reason the place has been open for 30+ years. Would definitely go back!
The decor and service was great. But the entertainment was only a few minutes long and the food we didn't enjoy too much. Everything else was great but the food will keep us from going again
Finally got a table here. Seated by the window with view of the water. Tables spaced very well. Waiter was excellent. Happy, patient and attentive. Funky decor. Drinks perfect. Food delicious and fresh. Bread yummy. Go!
What a treat of a place! Super amazing service, beautiful view, delicious food. The prices were very fair as well. Will definitely be back!
Amazing! Two hours of incredibly flavorful food, great service and perfect ambiance for a birthday dinner! Bolognese pappardelle is sublime, could eat this everyday!!
The food was delicious! The atmosphere is nice as well!
I am visiting for a few days and my friend said this was a MUST when she visited herself. And it was lovely!! The food was amazing! The service and atmosphere also great!
Call and find out about aerialist performances and dining locations to see them.
Celebrating 70th birthday and first visit to Seattle. The restaurant lived up to its excellent ratings. From the food, atmosphere, and service made for a very wonderful delightful dining experience. Would highly recommend a visit
This gem is a straight up winner all day everyday, our waiter was present but not overbearing. Cant get enough of the Pink Door love....
Just loved everything, will go again for sure! Great evening with a friend from PA!
My daughter’s 13th birthday. The waiter was perfect. He knew every little detail about the menu. It was a pleasant experience
THOMAS was awesome!!! So very helpful with menu and drinks and general information! Loved everything about this restaurant!!
We shared that we were having an anniversary dinner. They seated us along a window with a beautiful view. Our server was so fun and amazing. We constantly had our water refilled. The food was amazing. Can’t wait to come back.
Good food and atmosphere but our service was horrible, made us not want to go back. Server asked if we wanted an appetizer and we order one with him. When it had not showed up for 25 minutes and tables that sat down after us were getting their meals, we asked and he said he forgot. He never asked how we wanted the steak cooked. It showed up extremely rare and even after sending back it to make medium it was still on the rare side. He knew nothing about wine but at least he admitted that and brought out a tablet that gave a full description of each wine. At the end of dinner he put both the check and the then later the credit card receipt for signature in between my wife and my son's date when I was clearly the one paying. When we booked the reso on open door, it asked if this was a special occasion and I checked it was a birthday. My son's date also said something to the server when she stepped out for moment and nothing ever came of either request. I finally asked him at the table and he said, "We don't do that unless you want to buy one then I'll put a candle on it". Seriously, I drop nearly $200, get lousy service and then you can't pop for a scoop of ice cream or a cupcake? Management - Please train your staff on your time not my nickel and deliver a little something extra, especially when you botch the entire night. After we left, our conversation for 10 minutes was how the evening was a disaster from a service standpoint. Not the impression you want to give at Pink Door one would think.
Absolutely lovely! The space is beautiful, with hanging florals everywhere you turn, and the food was even better. The quality of the food was excellent and the portions were generous considering the quality.
The place had great food. Great recommendations on the menu and their wine list is pretty amazing.
