The Pink Door
The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm, Sunday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm.
Our “Trapeze Show” is a misnomer. Our amazing athletic aerialists go up in the air 1 time per hour for a 4 minute presentation. It’s not really a show, but it is awe inspiring.
Our Lounge seating, live music & cabaret is on a first come first served basis (Tuesday - Saturday). No Reservations available.
RESERVATIONS DO NOT INCLUDE OUR SATURDAY NIGHT CABARET.
What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
We had an awesome dinner and got to see the first aerial performance.
My husband and I had the best time. We loved everything we ate. I am in awe of atmosphere and the culinary. Not one bit disappointed. 37 years in business and there is no sign outside to show people how to get in. That tells you how good this restaurant is. Bravo.
Great everything!! My Daughter and Son in Law had 2 drinks ordered for us upon arrival. This was for my wife's 60th Birthday Dinner. They delivered promptly. The food was excellent and the Lasagna was excellent as usual. Service was great. The only blemish is that when we've dine an many top line restaurants and I make reservation for a very special event like a 60th Bday, we've always been presented a small cake, coffee or something to end the night. It's always a very classy touch. We didn't see our server once the bill was laid down. Missed opportunity. Still one of our favorites in Seattle!!
Food was ok. Found a rock in my food probably due to the clams but still there was a rock in my food. All the waiter did was take it away and that was it. Waitress only checked on us probably once or twice, Could have been better.
The food was delicious and great service. Will definitely go back. The only thing is wish there was a sign to the door, took us awhile to find the place. The door is not even salmon.
Our anniversary dinner was a perfect night of delicious food and wine, great service, amazing ambiance topped off by the very entertaining cabaret and burlesque show! This definitely is one of my favorite memories of our visit to Seattle! I already am looking forward to our next evening at the Pink Door! Thank you for turning our anniversary dinner into a memorable event!!
We had a reservation and were seated immediately.
We were greeted and provided with specials by our friendly server.
She brought us complimentary glasses of prosecco for our anniversary.
The grilled octopus was tasty and well seasoned. Not the most tender octopus I have ever had but still very good.
We shared the summer risotto next. Perfectly seasoned. Anise was the predominant flavor. Still delicious and creamy with very fresh crab.
The cioppino was tasty. The broth was similar to a minestrone. The seafood was just a touch overcooked.
Overall a very lovely meal. Excellent service.
This restaurant is all about interiors. The ambiance was intimate and good for dates especially if you are seated near the front where they have live music. At the back of the restaurant offers a great view. The food was okay or below average. Ordered Linguine but it was undercooked and too salty for me. Offers only a handful of dessert menu so not a lot of options especially for dessert lovers and with sweet tooth like me. Would i recommend this for a date? Yes. But for food quality and service, my apologies but no.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, wine list, and handcrafted cocktails. I went for the atmosphere, stayed for the food.
I liked everything about this place. Loved everything we ordered ( pasta, rabbit, ceasar salad), excellent service, nice ambience. Everyone else’s food looked great too. Very nice experience
Fantastic food, great table and service! It was a great evening.
Great place, went with the family when they came out to Seattle to visit. Wide variety on the menu and real fresh ingredients and delicious. Our server was also wonderful and very helpful.
The food and the service at the Pink Door make it our favorite restaurant in Seattle. Always a wonderful night.
Lovely patio setting in Pike Place Market
Delicious Italian cuisine. Gorgeous on a sunny Seattle day or on a dark night inside with a date
I love dining at The Pink Door because of the ambience and delicious food. My favorite dish is their Bolognese.
We travel and love finding new places to dine. The Pink Door is our new favorite. Truly a great experience! The food was excellent and the best service I've seen for a very long time, well done!!!
Our first time in Seattle & any time I researched places to go for dinner, this spot popped up! An awesome (and kind of hidden!) joint on the very cool Post Alley, and the restaurant is really pretty inside & way bigger than I expected. We started with the octopus (yum) and got entrees we both loved (mine was the mixed seafood -- forget the name) and my boyfriend got the rabbit. Both really great dishes -- my only negative comment would be that my portion felt a bit small. Would definitely recommend & go back to try other things here!
Highly recommend their garlic bread for the extra $6 - it was delicious!! The ahi tuna app was awesome as well. The food was very good, but be prepared for an extremely limited protein menu. When we visited there was only one fish dish (they were not offering the branzino style that night), one beef, one pork and one rabbit dish. No chicken. So if you’re looking for pasta you’re in the right place.
Great food and a great time
Good food, cozy environment . Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.
Great food and drinks! Awesome views and excellent service! No matter the occasion or reason this is a great spot for Italian food!!
We were only in Seattle four days, but loved The Pink Door so much we visited twice. The hosts were very gracious, even calling me to say they were able to accommodate my request for a different time. Both servers were excellent and fun and of course, the food was outstanding!
The entire time there was amazing and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
We really enjoyed our experience at The Pink Door for food, the unique entertainment on the weekend evenings, and Ambiance. Our service was not especially attentive or friendly, but was reasonable. It would have also been better to book or request a table in the lounge area since we were interested in seeing the performance without having to stand on the staircase. Our table by the window overlooking the water was amazing.
loved it- the lasagna was the best I have ever had- loved the wine in the green bottles- server was charming and professional
Loved this restaurant, and exceeded our expectations for food, service, and ambiance. We had a window table overlooking the sound, our server made great recommendations, and was just the right amount of attentive. Penn Cove mussels and clams were delicious, as well as the Neah Bay salmon. We'll be back again.
What a perfect place to celebrate my birthday year after year! Lola was the perfect server and the food outstanding, again. They always make you feel special!
The entertainment made me want to get a root canal
We had a fabulous time celebrating our daughter at the beautiful Pink Door.
Our server Lou was personable and funny, willing to take the occasional photo too.
The food was delicious and the menu varied enough to attend to all our needs ( daughter vegetarian.)
The view was magical and the ambiance was warm and inviting.
We will be returning soon!
Excellent food, service and views.
This is the best lasagna I have ever eaten! Caprese salad also delicious!
Show is over rated... usually just some guy with a guitar.
Ask for patio dining. Lovey, fun and great food. Everything from the bar service 2 the cioppino to the lemon tart was quite excellent
Very hard to find, but a great place with reasonable prices.
Excellent restaurant in every way. The food, of course, was the highlight. Beyond beautiful and delicious. Our server cheerfully accommodated our special requests.
The Pink Door never disappoints! Even if you can't sit outside, it's so cute inside. Great for any occasion, really. The food, though, is good good. Didn't try the wine, but list looks extensive. They change their menu every 3 months, so go often.
Every time I dine at Pink Door I think it can’t get better. Whenever my friend visits from out of town and his mom stays in Seattle to visit with him I take a week day off we do lunch at here. We arrived about 20 minutes early our noon reservation but were still seated immediately outside as requested. If you haven’t dine outside at Pink Door it’s a must. We had a wonderful leisurely lunch with excellent service. We shared the tuna crudo as an appetizer so refreshing the citrus of the orange paired so beautifully with the tuna. My friend had the lasagna which os a very generous serving he ended up taking half of it home. His mom had the clam linguini she us unable to eat garlic due to health reasons and they easily accommodated. I had the Springtime Risotto sometimes it can be prepared to rich this was perfect and didn’t feel heavy at all the Dungeness crab was quite a treat and the fresh corn added texture and brightness to the dish. Can’t wait to dine here again soon
Good food, great service. Was a bit disappointed that the fish of the day was scallops, rather than a whole fish. The Bruschetta was excellent with fresh tomato slices and basil on cibatta. We also had meatballs and fresh baby carrots which were wonderful. The risotto topped with a small amount of crabmeat, was mixed with golden corn, which detracted from the dish. So while tasty, I would not order again as it was more creamed corn, than risotto. The view from the dining room overlooking Pike Market was lovely. The service from the time we arrived to when we left was excellent. I recommend this restaurant, but make sure you understand how the dishes are prepared.
Me and my family went to celebrate my mom's birthday and it was a great experience. Excellent service, delicious food, great music, awesome view. Totally recommended.
First time in Seattle and the perfect place to take my wife for a date night. Had the lasagna and meatballs with pasta. Food, service and entertainment was great. Already recommended highly to friends and family. Will come back again next time in Seattle.
