The Pink Door Ratings and Reviews
Quite disappointed that we didn't see the burlesque show during our lunch, we booked our reservation for our birthday lunch so we were pretty excited to get a show with it. After the fact we saw (after literally having to search for it) that it's only at dinner time Friday & Saturday nights which is understanding but I don't think a burlesque show should be part of the restaurants primary description if it's not happening all the time. Our server was kind, seemed a little rushed even though it wasn't really that busy - he could have had a bigger section and we weren't aware. That's fine. My friend and I have worked in the industry so we don't get upset by it. I was also thrown off at how fast the spaghetti & meatballs came out...suspiciously fast which of course made me pay too much attention at how hot it was and the sauce seemed almost separated from itself..microwaved? I hope not for that much money. The garlic bread was AMAZING though!!! A good peppery background spice with all those yummy oils. I would suggest somebody go if you're scheduling during the burlesque show so you get your monies worth in entertainment.
My birthday was really special and unforgettable! Our table had a beautiful view from Seattle's ferris wheel, the service was impeccable and the staff had a nice little cake with a candle to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the jazz band playing that night was sensational! Thank you for a perfect celebration!
We had an amazing time at The Pink Door. It was our one year anniversary and we had an incredibly special evening. The food and drinks were both amazing. If I was to try to come up with one recommendation I would say dim the lights a little at night. That would create a little more of the romantic feel you already have there. But otherwise could not have been better.
It was fabulous! The perfect get together spot for dining with an out of town friend.
They were flexible with our special needs and really gave us the royal treatment. The view was fabulous. I hadn't been there since the remodel and it was impressive! Still cozy but spacious and lovely decor!
The staff is wonderful and caring and helpful!
The bar is great. The food is simple, well-executed Italian favorites. The view out over the Seattle piers is really nice. The wait staff is friendly and accommodating (though maybe a little less attentive than we would have liked). Overall, this place is worth the trip. Get reservations. Make them well in advance. You won't get in otherwise.
Spent a Saturday date night here- had gotten reservations well in advance. The ambiance was lovely, warm and inviting. Our waiter was pleasant, but not exactly super interactive or forthcoming with recommendations. The beet salad was so-so, the drinks were quite good, and the risotto was great. The dessert cheesecake was decent as well. Overall a "pretty good" meal in a beautiful setting.
Very glad we decided to try this place. We were in town from Dallas and wanted to try some god Italian food with live music. We heard reviews about the burlesque show and wanted to see that. Unfortunately, it’s only on Saturday nights and we dined on a Friday. That didn’t hamper our thoughts on the place. A must stop if visiting like we were!
Great place to grab lunch in the city. Fresh food with amazing taste profiles. There is a wonderful water view if you sit in the front dining room. Service was very good; friendly but not overdone. Not inexpensive , but very worth the money. I would come here any time I’m in Seattle.
Wanted to try forever and was able to get a reservation for four, then upped it to six the day of. Couldn’t believe they’d accommodate that. Food was fantastic. Service was even better, Thank you Thomas for being so kind and helpful. My fiancé wants you to be our best friend! And the ambiance, decor, vibe was just incredible. What’s truly remarkable is I went in with the HIGHEST of expectations and soon realized I had sold myself short with them. It was so much better than we had hoped and we had expected perfection. Couldn’t be more thrilled and can’t wait to go back.
The Pink Door is like being inside a treasure box, it is so beautiful and eclectic and romantic. I didn't want to leave. The food is delicious, and the staff efficient, conversational and attentive. I can't wait to be in Seattle again to renew the experience.
We came here to celebrate our first year Anniversary, it had come highly recommended. We live in San Diego That has a vast array of dining, we LOVED everything about Pink Door! The ambience, friendly and informative staff (wish we could remember our waiters name, he was a gem from Orange County originally) the drinks, food, dessert, everything was perfect! Thank you, we will be back!
Must try the paparadelle bolgonese and charred garlic bread with olive oil!
