The Pink Door Ratings and Reviews
Fun eclectic atmosphere with excellent Italian food.
My husband had the oysters on the half shell, sausage pasta and side salad and I had a Caesar salad and Pumpkin pasta...all delish!
The cocktails were inventive and tasty.
The dessert we ordered [plum cake] was so-so but maybe it just wasn't our thing.
Witnessed a young couple getting engaged and the whole restaurant exploded in applause and cheering!
We had an absolutely delightful time dining at The Pink Door. The atmosphere was beautiful, intimate, and charming - not to mention, the aerial artist performances were captivating! Food was delicious, service excellent. Would be an wonderful spot for a special treat or occasion.
I can't recommend The Pink Door highly enough! Fantastic in every way! The newly remodeled space is such a nice warm cozy atmosphere to dine in. Service is always wonderful, and the signature dish of their lasagne will ruin you for all others. You will need a reservation so make it well in advance of when you want to visit. We live 2 hours away and visit every chance we can. 5 stars!
The dish we ate was delicious (pasta with pumpkin and leeks) though the serving amount is small. The decor and the lighting are fantastic but it was near impossible to hear each other over all the noise. We were seated in the dining room, which is lovely, but the seats are too close together and we opted out of dessert because we couldn’t handle the noise level. Maybe lunch or going for an early dinner would be better.
I always have a good time here. The food is great and the new atmosphere is still good. I think I prefer how it was before but that might be me just being a old stubborn guy.
Highly recommend for whatever occasion.
My friend who I took for lunch said to mention that the door is "peach" and not "pink." He seemed very serious about this.
The Pink Door gives you lovely Italianate decor inside and the beautiful Seattle waterfront outside. Service is attentive and professional. We had an excellent and well priced bottle of Italian red with our pasta. Salads and bread were perfect accompaniments. We’ll come again anytime we want to impress our guests or spoil ourselves.
This restaurant was absolutely beautiful. The decor and the ambiance made for a romantic dinner date. The food was great! The atmosphere of the Pink Door definitely made the experience memorable. The restaurant is a little hard to find for those who are new to the city- a pink door in an alley which leads you into the restaurant. Definitely unique! The drinks were decent, but definitely creative.
Whenever we come to Seattle we try to eat at the Pink Door. It is a special place for us. And this past visit didn't disappoint. We happened to visit on their anniversary and we were greeted with complimentary sparkling wine. Nice! We started with mushroom crostinis and then on to a NW regional salad. Nice light dressing /w the salad. The vegetarian lasagna was great! Rich! And the pappardelle bolognese was lovely. Great food. Wonderful service!

The ambiance and service was excellent.
Even had a live band trio playing in the background.
I had a local porter on tap.
We ordered the smoked tuna appetizer salad.
For dinner we ordered the lamb shank and the linguine with clams.
The food was good, but nothing screamed I have to run back here and eat next week.
The highlight of my meal was the owners house blended special olive oil served with a fresh local bakery bread.
It had amazing flavors!
The food wasn't bad, it just didn't "wow" me for all the hype we had heard.
I'll go back and order 2 different things next time.
The Pink Door has been a perennial favorite of ours. We hadn't been for quite a long time and "rediscovered" it in the last few months. We've been back several times since then. The food is outstanding. Try the cheese plate. The prosciutto and mozzarella starter is also scrumptious. Service was excellent. Ask for Elyse. Great with suggestions, watched over us without being obtrusive, checked back on us several times and was efficient too. I recommend making reservations. While it's worth the wait - truly it is - why wait when you don't have to. And, definitely dine here during the summer months. The patio is "the" place to be...warm summer day...beautiful blue skies...the Puget Sound as your view.
This is such an amazing find, and I do mean find. Part of the attraction of this restaurant is how fun it is to locate. No sign, you must look for the pink door. The service was great, the food was creative and top notch. Will definitely make it a “must” when we visit Seattle again.
We got engaged at this restaurant and celebrated our one year engagement anniversary. They provided us glasses of champagne on the house to celebrate our occasion. The staff is very friendly and charismatic. The only downside is the portions are very small for the price. Other than that food was excellent tasting and presented well.
