The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
Fabulous lunch! The pappardelle was excellent.
Well done as always. Great food. Outdoor dining on the deck is the best in the city.
The Server was very nice to us and gave us a Window seat. Food was a bit pricey, but worth it. The only thing I didn't like about the place was that it was was very Noisy.
Fantastic food and amazing server. I would go definitely go here again!!!
Food was great! Wasn't as expensive as I thought it would have been. I was pleasantly surprised! They had an aerial performer who was incredible! Great evening!
Great fun and excellent food. Would return again. Cost was less than I expected for the value received.
From glancing at the website you can already see that the Pink Door is a very unique place and dining experience. To that I would like to add that the food was delicious and the service was top notch! Our waiter anticipated everything that we needed and was extremely welcoming. If you're a cocktail fan, I really enjoyed the Aviation and the Manhattan that the bartender made. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a unique dining experience or a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion.
The service was amazing, the food was great. If you go there, go for the seafood definitely. The oysters are very fresh. 👌🏻
Awesome staff, awesome performance, awesome food, awesome ambiance - everything was just right :)
There were four spiders at the table we were sat at and I noticed them just as we finished our appetizer. The spiders were nearly crawling on me and I have a bad phobia of spiders. I stood up to find the server for 5 minutes and finally had to go find her. Then she made us stand in the middle of the restaurant and someone else came and told us there wouldn’t be any seats for us anytime soon. We sat ourselves at a table in the bar area. The server had a very bad attitude and didn’t even so much as ask how she could make our experience better. She instead made us feel like we were such an inconvenience to her for asking to move. Service is terrible at this restaurant.
This was an amazing experience and the food was awesome. Sat in the bar area and the bartender was awesome and so was the service. We are an older couple and were enjoying ourselves UNTIL the young manager came by and inquired if things were okay....basically insinuating that she thought we were fighting. We told her yes that we were having fun and she told me that was fine but she also told me to be civil. Being chastised by a presumptuous twenty something year old in a brutal way left a bad taste in my mouth!
The food is fine but I do not see how it has over 4000 good reviews in yelp and I waited for almost one month to get the seat. The interior design is great and vibes was nice. But really, I do not see their food is above the average with this price range $40/person. So if you are coming for food, not worth of the waiting.
Service was spectacular. Loved the ambiance. Highly recommend the ragu.
This was my first visit to The Pink Door and it was a real treat. I took my bride there as a surprise and it certainly was that! She had no idea where we were going, and was totally confused when we walked up Post Alley to an unmarked pinkish door and entered into the restaurant. The ambiance is great, very much like a secret rendezvous, with a terrific view over Elliot Bay, great service and delicious food.
Love the ambience and food, is a must if you are visiting Seattle. Highly recommend the lasagna and pappardelle al ragu bolognese. make reservation ahead
Had a bit of trouble finding the entrance, but aside from that it's a very nice restaurant w interesting menu items and great service.
Favorite spot in Seattle. Done.
Phenomenal evening including delicious food, kind service & a beautiful ambience. Thanks for making my birthday special! Special thanks to Mario, our server. You were great!
Our young waiter was absolutely the best...knew the food very well and not one bit pretentious!!
Worth the experience!
The food and service was awesome.
Best restaurant in Seattle! Make sure to get seated at the bar.
Love this restaurant. Very impressed that they read my "notes" in my reservation & accommodated my request!
Our waitress made our experience so FUN! I think her name was Camelia? Very good service, beautiful setting, and GREAT table with a view! I can never order anything but the lasagna, it's my favorite. Never take it off the menu PLEASE! :)
Make reservations to get best table. Portions are generous, even if you pay for the split plate fee you will be ahead. We split salad, entree and appetizer and were very full. Service is done with precision, very skilled and confident staff. Five stars for chef and staff.
It was so great! The food was phenomenal. they knew it was our anniversary and put us right next to the window with views of the bay and brought us complimentary champagne to start!! Couldn’t recommend more :)
The Pink Door has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 25 years. However, at our last visit we noticed that things have changed. What used to be a smart, funky, relaxing place to have a great meal has turned in to an upscale Applebees. Overstuffed strollers were sitting next to tables as parents kept getting up and returning to attend to fussy babies. Children spilled drinks on the floor and parents left it to the wait staff to clean up. The new addition is beautiful, but the extra space also seems to have created a less intimate feel and experience, which we always loved about the Pink Door. Thank goodness the food is still as delicious as ever, but we did leave disappointed, wondering if our experience was a sign of change, or just a bad night.
The lasagna was delicious! Such an adorable place with a great view.
A wonderful joint Mother’s Day and birthday dinner for son. Our waiter Kate A was outstanding.
I love going to The Pink Door with my friends to catch up. It’s my go to restaurant for pretty much every occasion
Lovely Saturday lunch al fresco. Made a reservation for 2 the day before. Roasted garlic app, oysters, cupula tasty cocktails, small Caesar salad, sturgeon fish of the day, cortado + cheesecake. Boom. All fresh, all delicious, great service. Still feels like old Seattle. Smiles.
Having lunch on the patio here on a sunny day is a vacation in my hometown. We LOVE the antipasto too!
It was great the service was fast even though there was a rush for people and if they could not get us as quick the server apologized
Superior service, delicious food, and fun atmosphere!
So so so good! My husband and I took his mother for a little mother’s day lunch and lucked out without door seating. The view was beautiful! She has a few dietary restrictions but our waitress had great recommendations for her. My husband and I have had dinner here before and happy to say the food did not disappoint. Love it here.
Not many menu choices - I had spinach lasagne which was good but wished for some sausage or more flavor with spices. Husband ordered ziti with meatballs - pretty standard fare but pricey at $19. Appetizer of roasted garlic for $14 only had three very small pieces of dry, tough bread (not toasted or fresh) and small amount of spreadable cheese that tasted like cottage cheese - I don’t recommend it. Atmosphere is fun, but don’t expect great food.
We had such nice dinner here! Service by Brad was a joy and the food was awesome!
One of the best places to eat in Seattle. Varied selection (not just pastas). Crafty cocktails in a romantic setting with a lovely aerialist show in the bar area. If you snag a table in the back you get a view of the Duwamish and a fabulous sunset. NOT TO BE MISSED if you're visiting the market.
The Pink Door always has impeccable service, great food, and a fun/stylish ambiance. I took family from out of town and they loved it.
I love this restaurant. They sat us by the window overlooking the Ferris wheel and brought my niece her dessert with a candle since it was her birthday. Her chocolate mousse was the best I have ever tasted. AMAZING!
We can’t wait to back! This restaurant is every bit as amazing as everyone says. Get the lasagna!
