The Pink Door
What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
Excellent food and service. The ambiance is very cool as well.
I would absolutely recommend The Pink Door !! We arrived a bit earlier than our reservation and the friendly hostess seated us early! The service was excellent and food phenomenal- perfect portions ! A lovely 3 piece band played in the front room and the speakers in the back room overlooking the water allowed us to enjoy the music as well! A wonderful experience!!
We went on our honeymoon and it was great!
Good view of the shoreline
Service was rather quite slow and our server seemed more interested in getting through our meal quickly with very little pleasantry changed which would be the same for most of the staff - mot really an engaging bunch in our view
Food was mediocre- you will get much better Italian food at Tulios Italian restaurant than here
Would not go back or recommend this place to foodies
Everything was perfect. We were just in town for a few days and saw this was very highly rated. We made our reservations 3 weeks in advance and we’re still only able to get 9:45 pm but called a day before and they moved us to 8:00 pm. The food have wonderful fresh flavors and was exactly what we were less to expect from our yelp friends.
Front door was a bit hidden but food was good.
The Pink Door is a must visit restaurant in Seattle. The food was fantastic, along with great service and an excellent view. Highly recommended!
Passport ID required for drinks 😒
For Starters we went with Ceaser Salad and la fettunta which was not outstanding was just okay. For the Main Course we decided to with Lasagna Pink Door and that was just delicious. It would just melt in mouth, totally fantabulous. It was so good we decided to order one more. Finally for the deserts we tried flourless choclate cake and that didn't disappoint us either. The Cake was fresh not to creamy but enough chocolaty.
Birthday and anniversary
We went for our 25th Wedding Anniversary after trying to go two years ago only to find out Pink Door was closed for renovations. This trip to Seattle did not disappoint. Pink Door was open, we made reservations 28 days in advance. Wow Wow Wow was Pink Door worth the wait. The food-spectacular, ambiance-off the charts, light/decor-fun elegance with a hint of mid evil. Reminded me of a fav restaurant in Paris. You feel swept away to a true destination all its own in the middle of a bustling city.
Looking forward to our next trip here.
Great food, good service. Will be back for more of the rice balls and lasagne.
Absolutely amazing. A real experience that will stay with me for a long time. The decor, atmosphere, service and food were all second to none. I would love to go back and would recommend it to anyone who is staying in Seattle.
Best service I’ve had in years! Every dish was excellent.
Some food was ok but nothing great. The waiter was very nice and the performer was beautiful overall just ok.
Very beautiful restaurant! Very romantic too. We started out at the bar for drinks, which was great...good drinks and we got to watch the aerialist perform. Then we were seated in the dining room for dinner. Had a great view of water and the big wheel.
We highly recommend everything we had: started with the cheese board, *Amazing*! Their bread with that outstanding olive oil is so addicting! We both thought the Caesar salad was also very delicious. For dinner, my husband had the Clams & Mussels, which was wonderful, and I had the spaghetti with fresh artichokes (can't remember exact name), which was very tasty. We also heard the group at the very next table raving about Pink's famous lasagna, and the Paparadelle with Bolognese.
For dessert, we HIGHLY recommend their doughnuts. SOOOO yummy. They are filled with a rhubarb cream filling, and come with a custardy type dipping sauce. Absolutely delicious.
Lastly, the service was outstanding, both at bar and in dining room. We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back.
Absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle, and recent renovations only improved it.
Great place for birthday or other celebrations, but also a great deck for late summer lunch outdoors.
The service was great. The ambiance was great. However when we get to food it wasn’t consistently good. We order the halibut, it was good but a tad overcooked. The whole fish was excellent. The cioppino was tasteless and didn’t have enough food. The pastas were pretty good. The bread served with dinner (both plain and garlic) were excellent. We think they have the best French fries. Not sure if we’ll go back very often.
Be sure to reserve the burlesque show separately (not through OpenTable)
The service was fantastic. We didn’t get her name but she’s from
New Jersey. I let her pick my meal from the drink to dessert and she was spot on with everything. She was very helpful, kind and enjoyed her job! I will be going back!
Perfect place for an intimate birthday dinner.
We loved it!
Impeccable service, great food, good music and nice ambiance!
We already booked our next dinner there!
Lovely! The whole experience from the view, the food, the service! Our waiter was awesome! Very attentive and great sense of humor. Highly recommend! Need a reservation!
The Pink Door is hands down, my favorite restaurant in Seattle, period. Everything is always amazing. It is where I bring loved ones for special times. It is also a wonderful place to reconnect with old friends, It is cozy but spacious at the same time. You can have meaningful conversations and enjoy the artists that sing and perform. It has warm a feeling, the service is impeccable, and the food is just beautiful. It is the best place to come in on a cold PNW day and cuddle up with a dish of the the best lasagna, ever. Never fails- always warms my tummy and heart!
Everything was outstanding, from food to service to experience.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, probably the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten. Will return whenever I am in Seattle
Loved this place! We had a great table with an amazing view of the water. The oysters and veggie lasagna were AMAZING! Def recommend!
Great food.. Great views. Great service. The back dining room was packed with some larger tables and extra chairs, so it did get quite noisy
The Pink Door is a unique experience that you sense the minute you open the front door. Genuinely friendly staff, great view of the Sound, wonderful service, and great food. Our waitress was one of the best I have ever had.
Nice ambiance, good service. The food is good, but just misses the mark of being great. The steak was an excellent piece of meat, perfectly cooked, but a bit over seasoned. The chicken caesar salad was good, but the chicken was a bit dry.
A perfect evening on the water with excellent food, service and music
Our server, Andrew, was amazing and mega helpful with food suggestions and restrictions. Will be coming again when I’m next in Seattle.
The smoked fish appetizer (Cinque Terre style) was delicious. The Pappardelle was also nice but not quite as notable as the appetizer. The ambience was a nice surprise and the views were unexpected - especially considering how unobtrusive the entrance is. The service was however a little disappointing - our server had an attitude, was not very engaged in the role and not very helpful. Despite the miss on service this was a good choice and we would recommend it to others.
The food was excellent. Really utterly fantastic. In my experience this restaurant is among the top 3 Italian restaurants i’ve been to (in N. America). My wife and I lived in NYC for 12 years and we have high standards and expectations when dining at Italian restaurants. I had the halibut and wifey had the ragu pasta, and we shared the asparagus appetizer. Their olive oil concoction for the bread was outwardly. Never had I tasted anything like it. So, food-wise I give all the stars available. However the waitress wasn’t that keen on being nice to us. She wasn’t downright heartless, not by any means. Just a bit off-putting, unfriendly and rushing. Maybe she was having a bad day. It just felt like she didn’t want to work that day. Maybe it was us taking our time trying to savour the food. We took a bit more time especially because it was our anniversary. Maybe it was us being Asian and gay. I know for sure Seattle is LGBTQ friendly. Not that we expected any congrats but a bit more friendly manner would’ve been appreciated. However, we did get a cozy table in the corner by the windows that overlooked the market and Puget Sound. Dealing with tourists can be hard and gruelling. I know that because again I lived in NYC. Anyway, food-wise, I would love to visit again and taste other items on their menu. Hopefully we’ll get a different waitperson who won’t leave bitterness in our minds.
Our second dinner at the Pink Door. Food was great. Service was great. All round good experience.
The Pink Door is our favorite restaurant in Seattle. Our server was exceptional (Dominic) and
we can't wait to go back again...even though we live in Olympia
Love that place!!!
