The Pink Door
The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.
Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 5:00pm - 11:00pm, Sunday: 4:00pm - 10:00pm.
Our “Trapeze Show” is a misnomer. Our amazing athletic aerialists go up in the air 1 time per hour for a 4 minute presentation. It’s not really a show, but it is awe inspiring.
Our Lounge seating, live music & cabaret is on a first come first served basis (Tuesday - Saturday). No Reservations available.
RESERVATIONS DO NOT INCLUDE OUR SATURDAY NIGHT CABARET.
What Insiders Are Saying
The Pink Door is part circus burlesque, part Italian restaurant, and is one of the best dining experiences you can have in Seattle.
Tried for a couple years to get a reservation and everything was fantastic
Excellent service and great ambiance! Wonderful place to go for a date night or a birthday dinner.
Great service. Great Food. Quirky waitstaff but again great service. Perfectly cooked Halibut. Excellent pasta dish, bucatini.
Reasonably price actually. Might be overhyped but good overall dining experience.
A nice little hideaway in pikes place! Easy to pass by, the food is good comfort Italian and the ambiance is just quirky enough. Very good, very fun.
My daughter has just moved to Seattle and we weee looking for something fun and different! You can highly recommended!
Setting & service were excellent. Appetizers were great. Main course unimpressive. Ciopino was bland, vongole was smothered in bacon so couldn’t taste the clams. Rigatoni & sausage was the only winner.
It was our 5th anniversary and we were seated by the windows. It was beautiful! The food was outstanding. And the drinks were yum! It was perfect!
We had lunch at the Pink Door. Lasagna - melts in your mouth!! We asked what was in it and were informed no meat and no cheese - what?? It was heavenly. We also had their specialty lunch pizza which was very flavorful. Had a view of Pike Place Market which was fun to watch all the activity while enjoying lunch.
It’s a little difficult to find the restaurant down Post Alley, no signage just a light pink door.
The Pink Door was absolutely delicious in every way! From the service, to the view we had of the water to the food-- we were so happy with our experience and would definitely recommend a visit to anyone in Seattle!
The Pink Door was a great restaurant tor my friends to come to. I was visiting a friend that lived in the Seattle area and she had not been here before. We would have loved to have received the bread basket that all of the other tables around us had received, but we did not. Overall however, it was wonderful food!
Our server Lu made the experience with her introduction to The Pink Door. The food and the ambiance followed.
great food, great service, normal portions
Always a great experience! The weather cooperated so we were able to enjoy the outdoor seating into September ... a 2 1/2 hour lunch!
The Pink Door is one of my favorite spots in my city of Seattle. I have eaten there at least four times this season. One of the draws in the summer, besides the spectacular patio overlooking Puget Sound, are the dishes with extraordinary heirloom tomatoes! The caprese salad featuring fresh mozzarella and heirloom tomatoes and bruschetta with the tomatoes are fabulous!
On this particular visit for my birthday, our server was wonderful, the weather was terrific, all of our food was exemplary and the view unmatched. We concluded our meal with fresh brewed coffee and a tantalizing lemon tart! You must visit The Pink Door!
We had an awesome dinner and got to see the first aerial performance.
My husband and I had the best time. We loved everything we ate. I am in awe of atmosphere and the culinary. Not one bit disappointed. 37 years in business and there is no sign outside to show people how to get in. That tells you how good this restaurant is. Bravo.
Great everything!! My Daughter and Son in Law had 2 drinks ordered for us upon arrival. This was for my wife's 60th Birthday Dinner. They delivered promptly. The food was excellent and the Lasagna was excellent as usual. Service was great. The only blemish is that when we've dine an many top line restaurants and I make reservation for a very special event like a 60th Bday, we've always been presented a small cake, coffee or something to end the night. It's always a very classy touch. We didn't see our server once the bill was laid down. Missed opportunity. Still one of our favorites in Seattle!!
Went a little earlier than reservation, very accommodating. Evidently it is the place to go around Pike's Market....there was a line outside before it opened. Quite a bit of ambiance...lots of mirrors. Food was okay. A little offended that the first drink was No No Trump but it is Seattle!.
Food was ok. Found a rock in my food probably due to the clams but still there was a rock in my food. All the waiter did was take it away and that was it. Waitress only checked on us probably once or twice, Could have been better.
The food was delicious and great service. Will definitely go back. The only thing is wish there was a sign to the door, took us awhile to find the place. The door is not even salmon.
Our anniversary dinner was a perfect night of delicious food and wine, great service, amazing ambiance topped off by the very entertaining cabaret and burlesque show! This definitely is one of my favorite memories of our visit to Seattle! I already am looking forward to our next evening at the Pink Door! Thank you for turning our anniversary dinner into a memorable event!!
We had a reservation and were seated immediately.
We were greeted and provided with specials by our friendly server.
She brought us complimentary glasses of prosecco for our anniversary.
The grilled octopus was tasty and well seasoned. Not the most tender octopus I have ever had but still very good.
We shared the summer risotto next. Perfectly seasoned. Anise was the predominant flavor. Still delicious and creamy with very fresh crab.
The cioppino was tasty. The broth was similar to a minestrone. The seafood was just a touch overcooked.
Overall a very lovely meal. Excellent service.
This restaurant is all about interiors. The ambiance was intimate and good for dates especially if you are seated near the front where they have live music. At the back of the restaurant offers a great view. The food was okay or below average. Ordered Linguine but it was undercooked and too salty for me. Offers only a handful of dessert menu so not a lot of options especially for dessert lovers and with sweet tooth like me. Would i recommend this for a date? Yes. But for food quality and service, my apologies but no.
I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, wine list, and handcrafted cocktails. I went for the atmosphere, stayed for the food.
I liked everything about this place. Loved everything we ordered ( pasta, rabbit, ceasar salad), excellent service, nice ambience. Everyone else’s food looked great too. Very nice experience
Fantastic food, great table and service! It was a great evening.
The most adorable young guy was our server and the nicest person we met in Seattle :)
Lasagna was to die for
Went for lunch. Not when the show was on. Service was fantastic. The tomatoes, basil and cheese appetizer was excellent. The heirloom tomatoes were perfectly fresh and very meaty. Had the halibut specials tasted very fresh. Was there for My Aunt's 80th birthday. View from windows was magnficient.
Great place, went with the family when they came out to Seattle to visit. Wide variety on the menu and real fresh ingredients and delicious. Our server was also wonderful and very helpful.
The food and the service at the Pink Door make it our favorite restaurant in Seattle. Always a wonderful night.
Lovely patio setting in Pike Place Market
Delicious Italian cuisine. Gorgeous on a sunny Seattle day or on a dark night inside with a date
I love dining at The Pink Door because of the ambience and delicious food. My favorite dish is their Bolognese.
We travel and love finding new places to dine. The Pink Door is our new favorite. Truly a great experience! The food was excellent and the best service I've seen for a very long time, well done!!!
Our first time in Seattle & any time I researched places to go for dinner, this spot popped up! An awesome (and kind of hidden!) joint on the very cool Post Alley, and the restaurant is really pretty inside & way bigger than I expected. We started with the octopus (yum) and got entrees we both loved (mine was the mixed seafood -- forget the name) and my boyfriend got the rabbit. Both really great dishes -- my only negative comment would be that my portion felt a bit small. Would definitely recommend & go back to try other things here!
Highly recommend their garlic bread for the extra $6 - it was delicious!! The ahi tuna app was awesome as well. The food was very good, but be prepared for an extremely limited protein menu. When we visited there was only one fish dish (they were not offering the branzino style that night), one beef, one pork and one rabbit dish. No chicken. So if you’re looking for pasta you’re in the right place.
Great food and a great time
Good food, cozy environment . Definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.
Great food and drinks! Awesome views and excellent service! No matter the occasion or reason this is a great spot for Italian food!!
We were only in Seattle four days, but loved The Pink Door so much we visited twice. The hosts were very gracious, even calling me to say they were able to accommodate my request for a different time. Both servers were excellent and fun and of course, the food was outstanding!
The entire time there was amazing and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone!
