We picked this restaurant because of its location & the good reviews. I have NO idea what the reviewers were talking about. The food is average at best. The service was terrible... I haven't even gotten in my seat fully when I was asked if we were ready to order yet. On a Saturday night, I go out to relax... not be rushed through a meal. We were a party of 6 & apparently they were ready for us to leave by 9:00 pm (our reservation wasn't until 7:30 so it wasn't THAT long for a table of 6) because they turned off the a/c & the lights in half the restaurant. It got incredibly hot & uncomfortable by 9:15 pm. FYI... we were seated by the bar which had a bunch of people so I'm not sure why they wanted us to leave so badly but it was RUDE!! Then to boot, they marked my open table reservation as a "no-show". Open table resolved that problem but the restaurant has some nerve... I wish I had been a no-show!! Now I just wasted money on bad food & a dark sweatbox. I won't be back for sure!!
My husband and I have been to the Pike a few times and never been disappointed. Its a good, casual local neighborhood spot with a good variety of beer and interesting cocktails. The appetizers are very good, we particularly like the hot pretzel, wings, mac and cheese, egg rolls, and edamame. While the menu is somewhat limited, we have tried almost everything and never been unsatisfied. The food portions are generous, but not overly large...just the right size. I have had several of the salads with added shrimp, chicken, or salmon and enjoyed them all. My husband is more of a meat eater and enjoys the steak and burger. Most of the servers are friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.
Always great service & always great food. Owners Pete & Steve always take good care of their diners. Crystal at the bar is always fun to chat with & always lovely to her customers. Randal is a great server. The Pike never disappoints.
The food and drinks were really good . We really enjoyed the whole experience! The manager Marisa was great and helped us with menu! We will be back!
Waiting service brought out appetizers, salad and dinner at the same time, this is not a fast food restaurant, we had to send back dinner only to get dried out under the heat lamp.
The spicy dry rub wings were incredibly peppery and almost inedible. The Wedge salad was ok. I loved the decor and the ambiance and the service was fine. Food could be improved.
The service and food was good. It is a definitely a place I would go back. However, my one feedback would be that the $2 avocado topping is inaccurate. It's not avocado. It's a guacamole spread and the description should state so. I was expecting slices of avocado and what I got was barely a spread of guacamole.
Went to The Pike for a belated combo Mother's Day/Bday brunch after seeing good reviews on Yelp. While waiting a few short minutes for our table we watched a waiter bring a plate of chicken and waffles to another table. At that moment, each of us decided that was what we having! They did not disappoint! Light, crispy chicken strips and a perfectly cooked waffle and a shared side of tater tots were delicious. The basket of mini muffins were tasty as well. Can't beat the $20 all in brunch. Tack on $5 and you can have all the breakfast cocktails you want. Great food, great price, cool place and friendly service. Possibly the perfect dining experience!
Food is very good, with a nice decor and atmosphere. We were there early, so it wasn't busy (and therefore was nice and quiet). If you have any room left for dessert, definitely try the Baked S'mores Ravioli. Very creative and fun!
Great food! The brunch was a great value. Dinner is always cooked to perfection. Excellent service
It's one of our "goto places". Accommodating, flexible, excellent food and the price is on target. Keep up the good work.
Nice place something for everyone
Had a good meal with our Son & His wife. We were there for her birthday. The waiter was very attentive and met our needs.
My friend and I had brunch here on several occasions. The food and service are always good. The atmosphere is nice too.
Third time heard and a great experience again. Food is great and the waiter was attentive and friendly. Recommend highly for a comfortable night. They never rush you out
The service was poor. Poor coordination between staff and kitchen. Food very mediocre.
Brunch at the Pike is a good deal. Lots of variety on the menu...service is great.
The decor is contemporary.
As soon as I walked in the host was very approachable. She immediately sat us down.
We waited for a friend to arrive by that time. We were served a bread basket (very yummy) and our first round of drinks! (We came here for brunch)
Food was delicious and the drinks were never left empty! Our waiter started to serve us by the pitcher because we were just drinking way too fast 😂👌🏽
We came, we brunched hard, we conquered, left pretty buzzed!!! Overall experience was great!
I will be back! Thank you!
Sometimes you just want a really good meal that doesn't cost a fortune, in the neighborhood, casual but not bar food, head to the Pike. Calamari, beet salad, hangar steak, chicken special, delicious humus and chips, a couple of beers, all delicious!
Waitress was very nice and attentive. Food came out in a timely manner. Didn't feel rushed, overall a nice spot
Very nice atmosphere and staff. Not the best tasting food.
Wonderful food and not rushed to leave. Definitely recommend
Great place - Would definitely come back. Everything from apps to meal to dessert was excellent. Short rib spring roll, burger were excellent. The ravioli dessert was superb.
I live in the neighborhood and went for Sunday brunch. An extra effort was made to keep my reservation when I got there despite it being busy. The $20 Brunch deal is excellent. Service wasn't great but it was a rainy/icy Sunday and the place was packed. I do believe this place will get better over time.
Serving consistently good food in a comfortable setting.
Good service. Owner was very attentive and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our food. Nice place to get together with friends for a chat. Menu is small but good variety. Very clean....
Went to The Pike for the first time last night for a casual date night. The food was very good and the waitress was friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back for a causal evening
We were three girlfriends meeting at a central spot to all of our homes. The Pike was the perfect spot! Staff very friendly, food was good. Mushroom flatbread and calamari appetizers were really good! Perfect casual Friday night.
Everything was great. The server kassandra was excellent. A gentleman I assumed was the owner was very accommodating and made us feel welcomed.
Service was slow. Took 1-1/2 hour for our meal of a burger and salad.
Waitress did not follow up after my wife explicitly mentioned " no onions or garlic".
After comping us with a free dessert, the waitress messed up the bill by not removing the charge for dessert until I caught it.
Would have been better off going to a diner.
They never credited my open table reservation so I didn't get any points even though I was told they we're going to do so. The food was good , Mac & cheese was OK
Perfect for brunch. A complete brunch with a drink for $20.00. But they have shrunk the portions, so be warned. Plates used to brim over with food. Now it's barely enough to feel full. But it's still a good deal and a pleasant atmosphere. Perfect for a small party.
Made a reservation at The Pike, when mom wanted to go out to dinner last minute on New Year's Eve. We are local to the area, but had not yet tried the new place. To be honest, I had low expectations, but the food pleasantly surprised my entire family. The price is a little high for the area, but I love that they have a limited menu and everything we ordered was great. Service was a little slow, but it seemed like only one waitress was working at the time (we went before they started their pre-fixed menu at 7pm). Overall, I would definitely recommend and I will certainly be going back to try the brunch menu.
Good food. Super friendly staff. Owner is always there making sure everyone is happy and satisfied.
Had Sunday brunch at The Pike. The menu gives a fair amount of choices and the cost is only $20 per person which includes a morning-type alcoholic beverage.
Great food with fresh ingredients
The service was incredible. Our server was so attentive. The food was delicious as usual.
We liked the burger, hangar steak and chicken. The fish (salmon and mahi mahi) had a fishy taste that we did not enjoy. This is not typical with fresh seafood.
Maybe it was just an off night for my waitress but she never even asked me if I wanted a drink. She brought water and that was all. I heard other servers talking about the specials but I never heard those either. Service was slow and emotionless.
Great food, would come more often if parking wasn't so annoying.
