It was quite nice, great ambience even better food!
We got the pork chop, shank, bbq ribs, Mac and cheese and Brussels. Everything was delicious!! Meat was falling off the bones and the pork chop was 10oz cooked perfectly and still nice and moist. Everything came out really quickly and the service really friendly.
Everything was delicious, particularly the porchetta
The best shank, without having to go to Germany
Fabulous experience won’t regret
Delicious food and great service. Will definitely go again.
Would eat here any day of the week.
Mediocre food and ambiance.
Wasn’t impressed with this place. Didn’t live up to the other reviews.
John, the waiter, was extremely nice and friendly. Very knowledgeable about the menu, helped us understand our food choices in detail as it was our first time and also made great recommendations. Wonderful ambience, though it was a busy Friday night and a bit noisy.Did not find this to be a reasonably priced restaurant.
Great restaurant! Have been here a few times and never disappointed with the food or service. Highly recommend making a reservation to avoid any waiting for a table. This visit, our waiter was knowledgable about the menu and had great recommendations about what paired well for the charcuterie board. I plan on keeping this restaurant in rotation when visiting DC
Great place, really good food and would return again! Slightly expensive but a great evening
Highly recommend the sausage board for a starter. I had The Shank for my main and it was delicious. Crispy outside and tender inside. Highly recommend the truffle mac for a side. 5 stars!!
My husband and I really enjoyed our food. We ordered the ribs and it was great! Highly recommend if you’re in the area
Good experience. One of the food items was undercooked. Overall didn't take away from the experience.
I have a very strange and very serious food allergy. The server asked right away if anyone had any food allergies before we ordered. I told her I did and she literally went back to the chef and came back with a list of everything on the menu that was safe for me, along with substitutions the chef said he could make! My husband I were blown away. I have never eaten at an establishment that went this above and beyond to ensure their customers safety. Thank you to everyone at The Pig! We had the best experience and the food was amazing.
Haven't been to Washington DC Logan Circle area in quite some time. Nice to come back to The Pig for happy hour! Enjoyed the dishes especially the fried Brussels Sprouts! The bar offers happy hour from 4-7 each weekday!
Service was friendly and attentive. Interesting menu and very good food. Try the pork bun and the cheeks. My dinner company had the pork chop which was expertly cooked.
I can’t wait to go back again and try some more of that lovely food
Our waitress was amazing!!! The food was so good we all agreed we would be back.
Chop was moist and tender. Perfect amount of sauce. Old fashioned drink was delicious but a small pour. Sent fries back because they were warm, not hot. Noisey but a fun atmosphere Would definitely go back. Bananas Foster was amazing as was the sticky toffee pudding
Fantastic for brunch or dinner. If you go for brunch don't miss the bacon charcuterie board (particularly the country bacon and face bacon). For dinner the crispy pork shank is out of this world.
Inventive dishes using all parts of the pig. Great cocktails and bourbon list as well.
Food and service were exceptional. Loved meeting Ian.
My party of three thoroughly enjoyed both the appetizers and the main courses. For appetizers - we had grilled pig tails and pork belly buns which were delicious! For the first time ever, I had the heritage hog burger which was very tasty - certainly exceeded expectations!
Excellent evening. Definitely coming back again
Very good food at a very fair price. The sliders were delicious and don't miss the ribs!
The food was amazing... as always! Love to eat at The Pig when I’m in DC!!
Great service. The face bacon was off-the-charts good. Also loved the wild boar bolognese.
I've been to this restaurant several times and every time the experience is outstanding. We got the face bacon and the pork belly sliders to start, both of which were amazing. For the main course, I got the shank, and the meat was so tender that it fell right off the bone. Plus it was enough to eat for leftovers for lunch the next day! Truly one of the best cuts of meat I've ever had.
Only slight downside was that I wasn't a huge fan of the bananas foster. Normally it's one of my favorite desserts, but this one was very soupy - the bananas were drowning in the caramel-esque sauce, and the overall effect was too sweet for me.
On the whole though, amazing. Would enthusiastically endorse for a date night or any other type of gathering.
Very good, excellent ribs.
One of my favorite restaurants when visiting DC. The food is always fresh and imaginative.
OMG! Simply amazing! The food was tasteful and the craft cocktails just put me in a wonderful mood! I live in Atlanta, but I will definitely stop back by The Pig on my next trip to DC.
This was our 2nd visit, just as enjoyable as the 1st.
We absolutely love The Pig. The food & service are always stellar. It was a wonderful meal to cap off a fantastic day at the Nats Parade.
The pig has a great menu! We enjoyed the brunch special and the fall sangria is fantastic. It is a great location for a beautiful fall day.
Clean. Great food. Professional service. Ambiance and music were great. Will come back again.
Outstanding food, locally sourced. One of my favorites!!!
Great experience, The server John was excellent and attentive. The food was good, although the ribs are not worth $42.00. Everything else was fairly priced. The three pigs flight was also a good choice. Will save room for dessert next time.
We put the Pig on our agenda every time we visit DC. Pork offerings ranging from sold classics to decadent specialty dishes, they never fail to satisfy. Unpretentious and relaxed, which is how we like to finish a day. But the service is always prompt and professional.
