Arrived when The Pig opened on Sunday for Brunch. Were promptly seated and given a card with the specials on it. We were instructed to use our phones to open the menu via a QR code and asked if we would care for bottled sparkling water or tap water.
Brian and Fausto took our drink order, appetizers and entrees in proper order, answered any beverage questions as well as gave food recommendations and inquired to any applicable food allergies anyone at the table had. They were attentive but not intrusive and continued to give my wife, friends and I a wonderful experience for brunch on Sunday.
Brunch at The Pig is totally worth going out of your way for. The Pork Hash was amazing, and bottomless mimosas were delicious. Service was fantastic as well!
Great food, very accommodating and understanding with our group. Thanks so much guys
Food was delicious! Atmosphere lovely!
Best brisket I ever had! Service was great!
Excellent meal. Service was great. Best French toast ever!!
Service was excellent, the pork belly buns were awesome, I will definitely dine at the pig again when I’m in DC again
Cool atmosphere, decent prices, very warm inside (no A/C on a 90 degree plus day)??
Love the pig - but if you sit outside, be prepared to be accosted by beggars wandering by.
Dinner out with our kids - aged 25 and 22. So just like going out with friends. 😉
The Pig never disappoints! Every item that came to the table was delicious. Seasoned perfectly, slow-cooked beautifully and presented artfully. It’s a must-do, every time we visit DC. If you’ve never been, you’re missing out! Their brunch is killer, also, and an excellent value.
Always one of our favorite places to dine. We were so happy to be able to enjoy The Pig again. Outdoor dining felt like a Paris cafe. A bit of road noise but easily tolerated in exchange for delicious food and beverages, stellar service, and spending time with friends (safely) once again.
The Pig is one of my fav spots to grab a drink and good eats. My fav is the lettuce wraps, and traditional old fashion. Our server Brandon was amazing. Also the entire staff are welcoming and attentive
Loved this place. Meat was great as were sides. So, we had all da’ meat!
Very nice experience and the food was really good. The only bummer was that I was told that the shank was ~2 lbs and had crispy skin. Mine was <1 lb and had no skin and was not crispy.
It was still very tasty just advertised totally wrong.
Everything else was spot on and we will be back and soon.
It was very ok. Food was meh and service was equally meh
Great happy hour and sandwiches. Mac n cheese also great
May 2021 and it’s the first restaurant I’ve been to that I felt appropriately set their indoor expectations, kindly kept customers to it, and truly limited their seating to maintain safety as opposed to maximize profits. Our waiter was incredibly kind and warmly facilitated our evening.
Looking forward to trying the happy hour.
Totally great and affordable! Def coming back!
Love the Cobb salad and burnt end sliders. Nice balance of flavors. I topped it off with a fried apple pie, which was totally delicious.
Amazing! Will be back!
Amazing food, a creative take on BBQ. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff
Food was phenomenal.i recommended the lettuce wraps, pork buns, sticky wings, and the BBQ platter. I have ordered them from delivery and finally dined in with open table resevations. The customer service was above and beyond Bobbi was our awesome server. She recommended options and yes we stayed for dessert. I got the smores brownie and my friend got the banana pudding. Eveything was good. Ill be back for HH and brunch. Sorry no pictures but we cleaned the plates lol
Food is amazing and service is, too. We came for my dad's birthday and had a wonderful time.
Our first visit but not our last! This is the place for people who love pork! (they do even have a couple of vegetarian items). The price of the ribs seemed high, but it was an enormous rack with two side dishes so the value was there. It was enough for my husband and I to share along with an order of cornbread. The cornbread was to die for!! One of the best I've ever had. The ribs were fantastic. The bones were spotlessly clean after because the meat was cooked so well. The fries and cole slaw were great too. It took a minute for us to get served, but once we got started, our server Bobbi was extremely friendly and attentive. Happy Hour menu looks amazing, so we'll be back to partake of that and try other dishes. Nice outdoor seating and safety protocols in place.
The staff was very accommodating and the food was delicious. We will definitely return!
I was running late for my reservation the staff was extra friendly and helpful with working with me. The food was amazinggggggggggggggggggggg. I definitely will be returning 😊
Our waitress was great but it took 25 min for two watery bloody Mary’s with floppy bacon came out. It was after our apps and mains came out plus there were only two other parties in the restaurant and we were just told they were on the way. This happened the last time we came for brunch too. The food and drink were just okay for the price.
Amazing brunch outside. Coffee, veggie omelet and french toast all fantastic. Charles, our server, was wonderful.
Waiter and food was excellent. The canned rose wine was NOT tasty though! But we had a great time overall.
It was great! We will be going back! Gourmet BBQ dishes!
Extremely impressed by the COVID-19 safety measures the management has implemented for the safety of the customers and staff. As always, the food was excellent. The special Easter cocktail was terrific (please add it as a regular!!!). The pig cheek appetizer just melts in your mouth. We had the brisket platter and pulled pork sandwich- tender and delicious with the peach/habanero bbq sauce. The rosemary fries are awesome. The service was perfect. We’ll be back for sure.
No complaints, but nothing groundbreaking. I'd eat here again if I'm already on 14th St., but I'd prefer Federalist Pig or DCity Smoke House's selections and prices better.
Very good food, very good service
From start to finish the overall experience was pretty awesome. Didn't mark far right because I'm very hard to truly impress to that degree. I would definitely recommend the place if you are into Pork meats, hence the name.
Bobbi was enthusiastic, gave us a sweet birthday surprise. Brisket and sides were amazing. Perfect portions. Great value.
I recommend an Old Fashioned! Best I’ve had in a while!
Great food and service! Really hope they open again in the spring.
Best Bbq ever and the staff is amazing. 😘
Date Grey night spot. Super gay friendly!
