What Insiders Are Saying
For meals when you don't mind spiking your cholesterol, go to The Pig in Logan Circle.
If you love pork this place is amazing!!
Delicious food (heavy on pork), attentive and friendly staff, fun decor. I highly recommend.
Fun date night out
had great service and portion sizes are nice. The Charcuterie boards are not skimpy which is nice and include good choices and our waiter was knowledgeable about the cheese. The artichoke dish was also yummy!
We hosted a family brunch at The Pig on Sunday morning. We loved having a round table, so that no one was left out. Food was terrific. The crispy French toast was scrumptious - I would order that again and again. My husband enjoy his Piglet platter. The noise level was quite high, but it was otherwise a great and delicious Sunday brunch.
Lauren was our server and she was great even though she was busy with large groups!
Not great communication from our server
The waiter was able to match the dishes based on what I was looking for.
Good ambiance. Different food offerings, but nothing spectacular.
Nice vibe. Something for everyone on the menu.
The food here was flavorsome all around! We got started with the pork belly buns which were mouthwatering good. For my main course, I ordered the pan seared pork chop & I couldn't have been happier with this delish dish. The pork chop was cooked just right. Typically, I do not order dessert but I saw another table had the sticky toffee pudding & I knew we weren't leaving until I experienced all that sticky goodness too. It did not disappoint at all!
We sat outside for cocktails and appetizers before a concert. We loved the atmosphere and food.
It was absolutely delicious and our waitress was extremely accommodating and friendly. I will go back again and again!
An interesting concept of mostly pork dishes. There are five or six craft beers on tap ands reasonable wine list. I tried the pigs tail which was a bit fatty but very tasty and my friend had a more pedestrian but also good bbq pulled pork. My side of grits were creamy but nothing unusual. We both had an excellent draft Weiss beer. Service was prompt and adequate but again not outstanding. All in all worth a visit.
Kids meals horrible
Pass on this place
Everything was underwhelming. The restaurant felt tight and it was very loud. The server was very low on energy and wasn't very attentive. We're not needy but at least ask if we had any questions or check on us before our meal was finished. Our food was only okay. We got the brunch special that gets you an appetizer, entree and either dessert or mimosa/Bloody Mary for $27. The pork buns were salty but had some flavor. The Lengua Barbacoa tacos didn't taste like anything and the texture was...odd. The Pig Burger was just meh. The temperature was good but like the tacos, didn't taste like anything. My husband had to remind me not to order a burger from a pork place. He's right. Now he did enjoy his Pork Belly Benedict but I saw him using a lot of salt & pepper. Hubby was really exited to try The Pig and left with just meh.
The hostess and wait staff were friendly and attentive. And, the meal was superb. I could not ask for more.
Loved our waiter!
Loud but fun with good food and a good, well matched wine and drink menu. Charcuterie board was outstanding
I loved the ribs I ordered and the salad recommended by my server. I like the beer selection at The Pig. The restaurant is popular for a reason. A great option in that part of DC.
The food is truly outstanding. We started with a charcuterie and wine. I had the porchetta. My friends had the shank and the ragu. Each dish was so delicious. Our waiter knew the menu and made great recommendations. Food came out promptly. Great experience overall.
Very good food - the pork buns appetiser in particular was delicious!
The pig never disappoints. We often go there before a show at Studio.
Food was outstanding.. definitely recommend. Had the homade sausages and they were spectacular!!
Came down to DC. Had an amazing hungover brunch. Will Deff be back and recommend to fellow Visitors in the area
It was just ok, went here for brunch it wasn’t amazing and there are tons of amazing places in DC, so wasn’t that great considering.
It is always a great time with good food/drinks and people!
Open Table needs to update the menu for this restaurant. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the drink I wanted was no longer on the menu. Thankfully I had a "plan B" and the drink I had was delicious! Our server made excellent recommendations and the experience, overall, was quite good ... despite the fact that some dishes were undersalted.
I had the house specialty burger and I was disappointed. It was dry and priced
Amazing food and experience. Can’t wait to go back.
Little pricey but worth it. Just managing the expectations of the reader.
Great food and cocktails! Had the pork chop and it was delicious!
Very nice service, good food, and a good value for DC
Food and service was great. We were there for brunch and our server had answers to all our questions. One complaint, the cornbread serving of six bite size muffins at essentially one dollar a piece was crazy. Use a larger muffin to please. Otherwise, the four of us enjoyed our dishes and portions were awesome. Don’t know what happen with the corn muffin portion?
Had early reservation and everything was great. From hostess and server, to fantastic food and drinks. Every food item we ate was outstanding. Wine list was ok and over priced but everything else was legit. A must go.
This is my new favorite spot, I cannot wait to back again for delicious meats, beautiful cocktails, and impeccable staff like Anla (hope I’m not butchering her name). Me and my friends had an amazing time talking over the beautiful freshly prepared charcuterie and savory and sweet appetizers. You cannot go wrong with a menu like this.
Excellent as always. Invited three other couples who had never been to the restaurant, and they all loved it!
Vacation to Washington, DC. Unique spot. Server was helpful explaining the entrees. Face Bacon was excellent!
Birthday - great!
Love, love, LOVE the sausage gravy and biscuits! This place is comfort food personified.
Friendly and efficient staff. Delicious and creative menu.
