The Pig and the Lady
Delicious!! We both got the pho, broth was amazing, beef very tender! Cocktail was tasty and the carpaccio was the best!!
Were given someone else doggie bag not our leftovers, food amount and quality compared to price not to my liking, too expense.
The food was really nice and we were seated right away, my only real complaint was the service was slow. I’ll be going back for a dinner soon.
Came here during lunch. It was pretty empty at first but was completely filled by 12. Ordered the oyster appetizer and Dad's toast - both were delicious. Also got the pho with beef and side order poached egg (so good!) and my husband ordered the pork belly. We really loved both dishes. Got a toasted baguette on the side and dipped that into my broth. My son got a steak dish with fries but it wasn't as good as the rest of our dishes (the steak was a bit chewy), but the flavor was there. Finished off the meal with Hanoi coffee (rich coffee topped with sweetened whipped egg yolk) which was rich and sweet and delicious. The ambiance is inviting and the wait staff was very attentive.
The Pig and the Lady is always an event. We eat there whenever we are in Hawaii. All of the staff are focused on providing a pleasant experience. We went twice in the last ten days while visiting. We got to be there for the new menu with its celebration of the Le family. Such a treat. A huge mahalo for the exceptional service and food. What a night!
Don’t need long, drawn out review. Go here, get reservations at least 3-4 days in advance. One of best restaurants on island! Period!
Great food and excellent service. Just know that you will be paying more for a higher class of dining. Worth the splurge though. The ambience is very cool, too.
The food was pretty mediocre . Definitely not worth the amount of money.
We would be happier if you think about providing boxes under tables to keep our bags etc.
The food is incredible. We live in Los Angeles and lucky to be around some good pho but the Pig and the Lady pho Hanoi tops all. So sublimely delicious with all its flavors. Ditto for the banana blossom. Our server was wonderful too.
The food was very delicious. The chicken wings were very good and tasty. Duck pate and pork belly were also good
Five spice burger was on point. Even though it was a tad pricey, we would come back again
loved pho and fried chicken!! i wish there was less meat and bit more hardness to pho but the flavor was fantastic!!!
I felt the food was egregiously overpriced. Overall the food was good, but we had a starter that was a small rice paper "pizza" that, while delicious, was insanely priced...$30 for rice paper and some toppings! I knew it would be pricier but this place was not worth spending that much. A lot of hype for okay quality food.
Great all around experience highlighted by the tasty flavors!
The Pho I ordered and the Vietnamese tea were delicious. I really loved the decor and ambiance of the place too! I had made reservations through Open Table and being in China town area is was tough to find parking but I called and they held our reservation. I wish they validated but it’s understandable why they don’t. I parked in the municipal parking lot and the charge was nominal.
Staff are friendly, food is great and did not wait too long for us to eat! Overall, highly recommended!
The service was excellent. We had;
Le chicken which was the best dish. The pork chop was pricey , over cooked and too salty. Phở’s broth was ok but the beef was too thick and chewy. My kids finished the noodle and left out all the beef. The whole Moi dish is a fusion version of Vietnamese chả cá lả vọng, except the sauce wasn’t savory enough to balance the fish taste. A bit disappointed as this was highly recommend by my coworker.
Friendly professional attentive staff, delicious food, generous portions!
This used to be my FAVORITE RESTAURANT. This time I had the spicy noodle soup and the noodles were like spaghetti--not the flat rice noodles used in pho, so it didn't absorb the flavors and was harder to eat. The meat in it was hard. Perhaps that was the intention, but it was not as good as I was expecting.
Felt the service was lacking, even tired. The waiter barely looked at us. The man who brought our dishes from the kitchen was nice tho. We had to ask our waiter for spoons, as did tables around us, and that took awhile.
Overall, I would go back, but the prices are so high now, It's more of a special occasion restaurant for lunch.
My wife and I enjoyed this while on vacation. Short Uber from Waikiki. Excellent food and cocktails. Would recommend to anybody visiting Honolulu.
Ordered the tatami
While the appetizers were interesting, my husband and I found the pho almost inedible. At $27 a bowl we forced ourselves to eat it. Extraordinarily salty and the noodles were not tasty. Disappointed.
service was great, very attentive and knowledgeable server and also other employees around were helpful.
Food=very good to excellent. Server that day was distracted, impersonal, and spoke too fast. Did appreciate chef coming around to ask how we were enjoying our meal. Ambience=OK, but a little too cramped and noisy. I wouldn't come with a larger group.
Excellent food. Wonderfully unique fusion of flavours with fresh ingredients. Every dish was 10/10!
Great friendly energetic customer service. Food was amazing!
Very slow and not worth the price.
Love it here! The menu changes with the seasons and the fresh local flavors are excellent! Would highly recommend. Drinks are also delicious! We started with the chicken wings, broccolini, and some pizza made with filo dough for crust (can't remember the name) everything taste so good! We all got a different pho for our entree and it was wicked good! Dessert was pretty good. I only got a small scoop of the lychee sorbet. Definitely worth the trip! Service was excellent!!
Loved our waitress 😍
We loved the ambiance and food!! We had a daily special “pizza” that was amazing! The green papaya salad and pho were also outstanding. I’m picky about the feel of a restaurant and my husband is picky about the food - and we were both very, very happy with this restaurant. My only teeny complaint was that the pour size of my wine was a bit on the small size. We took Uber so didn’t have any parking issues.
This was such a yummy and unique experience. The banh mi was delicious as was the Tiger Rice. Ending with the egg coffee was perfect!
Amazing food, service, drinks!!! Have the wings, banana
Blossom salad and pho!! Plus the Hanoi coffee with egg was incredible!!
Great service, yummy Vegan options
The menu while very innovative seems too limited from when we were there last . Quality still great but take away the pho dishes and you are not left with enough choice
Too expensive for what it offers
Great pho. Limited menu items but very well done. My second time there. Will definitely be back.
Depending on the time and day, reservations aren’t necessary but it’s always better safe than sorry, especially if you’re from out of town and have your heart set on a meal here. The ambiance and food were both a lot less pretentious than I’d anticipated, which isn’t a bad thing at all. On the contrary, everything was very comforting and exceptionally done. I felt at home, as if I were at a wonderful friend of a friend’s cool place who cooked an amazing meal for me. Shoutout to the bar and their great cocktails!
