What Insiders Are Saying
For meals when you don't mind spiking your cholesterol, go to The Pig in Logan Circle.
Went for brunch! Server was fabulous 5 people with 4 special dietary concerns, she checked on everything. Chicken and waffles are a MUST totally amazing! Definitely would go back!!!!
The food was good not great. Some of the plates lacked color. The wines for the wine pairing tasting menu were lacking given the price. Staff seemed to be overly concerned with the location of our table...almost apologetic.
Worth another try...but they have some kinks to work out.
Great place if you’re a meat lover! Try the charcuterie board.
Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Loved the pasta And cheese platter. Sooooooo good!
The Pig was AMAZING. Service was great, food was delicious. We had a party of 6 for a birthday and did not feel crowded, everyone loved their entrees! Highly recommend the charcuterie, go with the 5!
Bryan was a great waiter and the brunch menu was DELICIOUS!
My wife and I were in Washington DC for several days and just happened to come across this restaurant during a walk. Went back that night for dinner but could not get in due to wait for table. We thought that was saying something so booked table for next night. So glad we did. Could not fault.
Great place especially if you like bacon!!
Had a nice time for Sunday Brunch.
First time visit. We can based on a recommendation from a friend. The Pig is delicious! Service was excellent! I’ll visit again and again.
Everything was fine to good except the food was excellent. I’d def try again if the area, but not something I’d drive from Tysons for. Ambiance and service was lacklustre, but not bad which for D.C. is maybe above norm. Server did a great job of helping us choice between our narrowed down choices.
Good farm to table whole animal experience. Tough to stay in per diet but some really great options here.
The service was outstanding. We could not have asked for a better waitress. She was very accommodating.
If you’re lucky enough to have Jimmy as your server, you’re in for exceptional service, to go along with great food.
Food was excellent, however service was very poor. Minimally saw server, took forever to get and be refilled in water, dessert was forgotten.
Food was amazing. Drinks were a hit. Everything that came to the table was delicious!
The cornbread is a MUST!
I've been a few times but always sat at the bar. This past weekend I brought a group with me and the table service was slow. Like, we waited 20 minutes for water and 30 minutes for cocktails. The waiter was no where to be seen after we ordered- no stopping by to ask about drink refills or anything. It was busy but not slammed. Also, once we got the food and finished eating its like we saw the waiter 3 times in 5 minutes. I think they just wanted us to pay and get out. I was unimpressed by the service. Food was not hot upon arrival either. I talked this place up a lot so I was disappointed in the experience.
The food was gross. Tried multiple things including two appetizers and two brunch entrees and wasn't happy with almost anything aside from the bacon. It was all over-seasoned and messed up the classics.
My husband and I love this place. The fried pork belly bun. The fried bun added an extra flavor and texture to the normal pork belly bun which was a big place. The pickle and green onion kept the dish from tasting too heavy. The porchetta was really good. The pork belly that wrapped around the sausage was tender and flavorful. But what surprised me was the greens (spinach) that came with the dish. It's so yummy I've had a whole bowlful. I'm glad I asked for more of the greens, to begin with. The only negative is that there is quite a bit of water with the spinach which made the potato puree a bit watery. The cornbread was a bit dry so the scoop of butter was necessary. All in all, a great dining experience. Our waitress was also very friendly and helpful.
Very good Food. I had a cheese board that was fabulous, the porchetta and my husband had the pork belly cheeks. Everything was delicious and I would go back again.
Staff was excellent at their jobs as well as giving recommendations. Get the pork buns, super novel and delicious.
Had the charcuterie board with entrees but the board was more than enough and we got the small one
fried belly buns are amazing!!!!!!
Delicious! We enjoyed the Empanadas, Pork Belly and Mac, The Shank, and Cornbread. So good! Great service and atmosphere as well. Yum!
Pork Shank-no flavor
Morrocan spare ribs -dry
Over all-a disappointment
Would not go back, would not recommend
We decided to try The Pig during their Hogtoberfest. We were there for Vietnamese week. Perhaps it was our fault for thinking a pork-based restaurant could do an ethnic cuisine with some very specific flavor combinations and foods. But they served it!! The spring rolls were dry and tough. They did not understand the use of rice paper wrappers and they were not at all flexible. The same issue occurred with the dish that included rice vermicelli. It was stiff! Overall the flavors were bland and uninteresting. The peanut sauce was just peanut butter. We may go back to try the regular fare, but certainly not for specials like they served last week.
Really good food! Try the “Porchetta”. It is divine!
great thematic restaurant with creative dishes that deliver on flavor
The Pig is one of our “go to” restaurants in town because of their consistently good food. This time I got a pork chop. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. I think it was one of the best chops I’ve ever had. This spot will continue to be one of our favs!!
Absolutely amazing food!
Great place for dinner. Selections and specials are phenomenal. Staff is very pleasant and top notch.
lovely food, lovely waitress, and I loved the pig themed cocktails
Great for an impromptu brunch. The service was great and the dishes were super creative and delicious.
We really enjoyed the ribs and the pork shank. I definitely recommend this restaurant to all.
John was a wonderful server.
