What Insiders Are Saying
For meals when you don't mind spiking your cholesterol, go to The Pig in Logan Circle.
Fun, casual date night option. Didn't feel rushed, and were able to really enjoy our meal at our own pace. Great service, yummy food, good wine - I suspect we'll go back in the not so distant future.
Outstanding food and service!
all of the dishes were wonderfully prepared and portion sizes were appropriate
We were there for restaurant week (lunch) and didn't order from the main menu. Everyone seemed pleased with their choices. Service was very friendly.
Great food and good service!!! We will definitely be back
Dinner with friends. Looking for a restaurant offering comfort food with a twist. The Pig delivered. I’ve already recommended it to friends and family. I will be back.
We went for restaurant week. The food was good, service was adequate. A few of the bee
Another great dinner at The Pig - scallops & pork belly; husband got porchetta. We finished by sharing the sticky pudding. The old fashion cocktail was excellent, as was the service.
The Pig was tremendous. Terrific food, great atmosphere, and Lauren (our server) was outstanding. What a great backdrop for a fun night with a friend. I'll be back with my partner and other friends. Thank you!
The cocktails are inventive and good. I had the Pigroni.
The food was disappointing! The appetizer of face bacon was overcooked and dry. A waste of $12.
The scallops and pork belly with creme fraiche polenta was equally disappointing: the scallops were overcooked and dry, the pork belly was not good quality, too chewy and bland. The polenta was white corn grits NOT yellow polenta an it was bland. A waste of $25.
Pork-centric, but not just ribs. Tried the 3 sausage sampler with Greece, Italy and New Orleans represented. Each was juicy and flavorful. The Shank was a tender cut with sauce. Great selection of local brews. Too full for dessert, but would go back to try a few.
Great Food. The bacon wrapped peaches and the pork belly buns were outstanding. We also had the porchetta which is awesome. This place was excellent. No parking but you can park at wholefoods and walk to the location.
The food was pretty ok ... our server was nice enough but very attentive ... the oddest thing happens. My friend who came with me did not enjoy the shrimp and grits dish on the brunch menu(she pregnant) ... and when she sent it back the manager spent the rest of our meal glaring at us ... legit glaring ... odd
Yummy best ribs we’ve eaten in a long time. Really nice atmosphere too
Excellent food, excellent drinks, excellent service. Not kosher; not vegan.
The food was outstanding even the deserts are worth a try. I will be dining here again!
Service was great, staff, friendly. Dessert was excellent, pulled pork was definitely the specialty here.
I wish I would have know. Happy hour was only at the bar rather than at the table too. I would have changed my reservation time. Everything else was amazing. Great date night.
We had a great time at The Pig. The food was great, the service was attentive, and I felt it was fairly priced for the experience. Definitely would return.
Wonderful food! Bacon wrapped peaches were amazing!
Food was very good, service a bit sluggish. Th vegetable omelet had beautiful roasted veggies. My bf had the porkatory and loved it. We also enjoyed the bacon cornbread rosemary muffins.
Great pork buns. Good casual dining on trendy 14 th st.
The face bacon and baked Brie were great appetizers. The atmosphere was inviting md not too fancy. I will g
The food was cold and it took forever fir the food to come . The waitress was nice but a huge table got there food before we did . It wasn’t disappointing.
We ate here last time we were in DC. Quality of food is the same which was wonderful to discover. Come hungry! Portions are generous.
It was very good.
Took our son to D.C. for his 16th birthday and this was our first dinner there. He got the octopus, which he really enjoyed. My husband got the ribs which he gave a 5/5 on. I got the pork chop - it was a good, thick, cut of meat but wasn’t as bold in flavor as I would’ve liked. Though my husband and son both liked it a lot so it may just be me. We went there at 9pm and it was very loud in general but nothing we couldn’t ignore. Overall we all got plenty of food at a surprisingly affordable price and really enjoyed the dinner and dessert. Would go again for sure!
Outstanding meal. My grandmother from South Alabama said it was the best pork chop she’d ever had.
The meal was delicious! I will definitely be back. Try the Shank and the buns :)
Denisha the bartender was awesome!!! She was so much fun and made excellent drinks. We would go back just to see her.
We tried this restaurant while on vacation in DC and loved it. My daughter and I got the scallops, pork belly and polenta and it was great. My son liked his pork chop a lot and my husband liked his duck breast special though wished he'd gone with pork. The fried pork belly buns were also delicious and three of our party somehow found room for dessert. The chocolate cake, sticky toffee pudding and smores sundae were all good though some people didn't like the sour cherries on the cake. There was a bunch more stuff on the menu we wanted to try.
Enjoyed the ribs and octopus and sausage entres.
This place was amazing. Super good food, excellent drinks, a winner all around.
The food here is delicious—it's impressive what they can do with pig. Pork chops are usually boring, but this one was great. Service was a bit off; we didn't get our sausage board until late, but they comped us on it. This was our second visit, and we would go again.
Not at all sure what The Pig would be and it was GREAT! They were really nice, considering we were a little late. We ordered almost everything on the menu and really liked everything we had.
We'd go back again and again any time!!
My family and I were in town looking for a nice sit down place in DC for dinner, and the food and drinks were absolutely fantastic! We tried the Brie appetizer as well as some garlic salami, and they were both packed with flavor. We also tried the macaroni, as well as different entrees, and each were packed with flavor that left us wanting more. The atmosphere was very inviting, and our server was simply fantastic. I highly recommend!
Great food, great service, cool environment. I had been trying to go here for a long time and when I finally went I was not disappointed! A little more expensive than I thought it would be, but the quality of the food and service made it a good value.
the food was delicious, the ambiance was an urban feel and overall the service was great. The only reason I dropped 1 star was because they didnt have botomless mimosas. If they offer the botomless mimosas this would be my go to place every Sunday! They do have outdoor seating so maybe you can bring your dog. Overall great experience.
