The restaurant is pleasant and has good salads and soups. The server said that 2 people had failed to show up and he had trouble serving everyone. Service was slow.

Met up with friends for a casual dinner out. We were promptly greeted and seated. Cocktails were excellent - martinis and Manhattan. Dinner special of bacon wrapped grilled salmon over pasta in Cajun sauce - wow! It was delicious. Overall an excellent dinner out.

The Phoenix is consistently good food and a local, convenient location. I was surprised at how busy it was at the 5:30-ish timeframe so I do suggest you make a reservation via open table beforehand.

Went here because of all the great reviews. Food was excellent. Service was a little slow especially for going a little later. Other than that it was great. Would probably go to a different place next time I'm visiting Bend just because...

We went to the Phoenix for a birthday dinner and was not disappointed! I had the flat iron steak and my husband had the tenderloin steak and they were both wonderful. I would recommend the Phoenix in Bend to anyone. Thanks for a great meal.

Great menu, good food, nice waitress, but needs training. Brought checks without even asking if we wanted dessert, then never asked if we wanted coffee, etc. Did not check with us after ordering.

The Phoenix is our usual go to place if you want a nice sit down meal on the East side of town, always great food and the servers are always more than pleasant! Would and have recommend the Phoenix to anyone!

First time visit. Recently moved to Bend, happy to find great food, great service and close to home. Spur of the moment late reservation kindly accepted. Prices very reasonable, If you like crab bisque , try this one. Ordered the small raspberry salad ( its a larger than expected size for small) . Crab Bisque and Fresh and Delicious. Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo . My husband ordered the Pork Brisket steak , apple sage cream sauce was delicious. Will return.

We found this restaurant on Yelp. Chose it because of its diverse menu, appealing to both adults and children. The food was great. Steak cooked perfectly. The kids menu gave good choices. Loved the raspberry salad. Ordered the small and it looked more like a large. Great French Onion soup.
Definetly will return.

We were a party of 16 noisy guests and we felt comfortable. Great servers. Yummy food! Great time.

the food was good, the price was fine the service was good the timing was off for food . the seating was good it was a packed house and a little hard to hear. however it was Friday at 6pm.
over all it was good, and is good for after meetings but not for meetings.

I had fish and chips (with cod) which was ok fish was tender and batter not too thick but flavor was average. My hubby got the angel hair pomodoro and this usually is olive oil and garlic tossed pasta but this was a tomato garlic and basil sauce so he was a bit disappointed even though it was cooked nicely. Others in our party had crab bisque soup and were surprised there wasn’t very many pieces of crabmeat. I don’t think this is a restaurant I need to go back to.

One of my favorite restaurants in Bend. The service is always excellent and the menu has a good variety. Their specials are really tasty also. The Christmas Eve special of Macadamia crusted Halibut was excellent. I dine there at any opportunity.

The Phoenix is my neighborhood gem. My husband and friends love that it is on our side of town and serves good food and drinks! The staff is friendly and they are very accommodating.
We will continue to go to the Phoenix as our go to place!

Attended for a small business Christmas party. Very delicious food. Service was pretty good once we got the server to engage our table; I think perhaps there was some confusion as to who was assigned to our table, but I’m not sure. Not sure why it took over 20 minutes to get drinks for 7 people. Once we got our server, things were great though.

My wife and I were very pleased at the "Happy Hour" menu selection. The selection along with the great prices and quality of the food are real plusses!

Phoenix has a nice restaurant and very busy bar with a great happy hour menu. Prices are very reasonable and the menu is extensive with chef specials. Staff is great: must be a good place to work as the same servers have been there for years.

We always enjoy the Phoenix. We have our favorites but I tried the pork brisket this time and it was excellent. My husband loves the prime rib on Friday and Saturdays. It was his birthday and he got a free desert. Good night out.

Booked with Open Table and we're seated immediately even though there was a line of people waiting. Dinner was great, service was attentive, I highly recommend the halibut fish and chips!

Our appetizer arrived two seconds before the entree, which takes the fun out of an appetizer AND the entree. Someone snatched up the entrees then we had to flag them down to get them back. Pesto snapper was delicious , though!

The Phoenix has a very nice menu -- you won't have trouble finding something that sounds good. The food did not disappoint, but the service was not up to par for what we expected. We had a reservation and would have been seated quite promptly, but the hostess accidentally seated two other parties before us...a mistake that could happen to anyone. To compensate, we were given a free appetizer when it was called to their attention. Unfortunately.... we then had very slow service...but again they made good...our beers were on the house. Luckily the food was very good. We won't likely go back...because we don't live in Bend; we were just visiting. Good food; poor service....BUT nice compensation.

Service staff very good. The hostess went overboard yo help us locate a brewery. Then we returned later to be served by her. Next day we came got dinner and another service outcome equally positive.

We have typically had very good service, but this time the service was very slow. Kalina is our usual server,( she is awesome) but she was off that day for personal reasons. Rare. So I don't know if it was the server or the cooks, but it wasn't that busy and we were a party of 11. Very dissapointed, but will be back in case it was a fluke.

We have lived in th neighborhood for a few months and walk by The Phoenix almost daily. We finally decided to eat here when a friend visit d from out of town. We were pleasantly surprised with the quaLift and quantity of the food. Our server, Jen, was attentive and gracious. Out water glasses were kept filled. The food was delicious. I had a Cobb salad, no bacon, with grilled salmon. Excellent. Hubby had chicken piccata and said it was excellent. I don't remember what our friend had but she enjoyed her meal very much. We will definitely be back. The manager, Fritz, came by to check on our meals, too which always impresses me. We sat outside. Tables not so close that you hear conversations around you. There is a happy hour during the week and early bird three course dinners from 4 - 5:30 pm.

First time to the Phoenix, had the meatloaf. It was very good. Service was excellent.
