    Was excited to have Prime rib. They are “ known” for it. It was good, but I did expect more. The escargot was amazing! Our server Kyle was excellent. I would go back & sit at the bar, do drinks & appetizers.

    I love the Pewter Mug. Great salad bar with excellent soups. I usually order the prime rib which is as good today as the first time I visited 20 years ago. The food is consistently good. Most of the staff have been with the Mug a long time. The chicken, and salmon are also good. I have tried other things on the menu but it's hard to beat the prime rib!

    Casual restaurant with a very good salad bar and surprisingly good clam chowder, included with entree. We had prime rib on the Happy Hour menu. The meat came exactly as requested.

    You can’t miss with the prime rib and our server Missy was lovely – just very slow service for a Wednesday night which wasn’t terribly crowded. We will always come back because of the consistency of the food!

    Wait staff were friendly & very attentive. Food at the salad bar was fresh & nicely presented. Main course was excellent, as proven by all four empty dishes at the end of the night! This was not our first time dining at the Pewter Mug North, and it is definitely not our last!

    The server we had set the tone . His name was Jeremy. He rushed as soon as we sad down . The two lady’s want to order the prime rib sandwich and he bark it was already out for the day . Mind you it was 5:15 when we sat down . To be out that early seemed odd , it was that way he said it that took us back . Then they asked to see the menu to find a different choice, and he proceeded to ask time and time if they made their choice. So with that being said they just ordered the salad bar as not to satisfy him . It was to say a bad dining experience.

    The Pewter Mug is a great "go to" for us. The food and service are consistently good. They have a great soup and salad bar and the restaurant is noise tolerable even when it is full. I recommend it often to neighbors.

    Food and service were excellent. Wonderful to see a salad bar with fresh choices. The restaurant reminded me of a cafeteria....very crowded, very noisy and no atmosphere.

    We were very pleased with our food and service. Prime rib cooked to a perfect medium rare, excellent salad bar and drinks. Noise level was pretty loud most of the time in a very crowded venue. Will return soon !

    They continue to put out a great salad bar. That and the burger were topnotch. I'd avoid the Stroganoff though. Advertised as as beef tips, veal reduction and mushrooms, it was came across as roast beef in brown gravy, no mushrooms. I stopped eating it and went back for seconds on the salad bar!

    Entrees were very good. The salad bar provided a wide variety of items to choose from & everything looked very fresh. The soups were also very good. Bread & cheese added a nice touch to everything else. For all the food, the prices were very reasonable. Our server was friendly, attentive & really added to our dinner experience. We’re looking forward to going back soon.

    We ALWAY enjoyed the prime rib dinner however last nights prime rib was NOT up to par. Not tender and a large ‘nerve’ in the prime rib. Very disappointed.

    Outstanding! Great salad bar with constantly changing fresh selections. Prime Rib is their specialty. It never disappoints - fork tender with so much flavor. A great selection.
