The Perfect Pint - West
I work in the area, and every time I go to this restaurant, I get great service and great food!
The dumplings are good but then we ordered the gaelic burger. The burger was ok and the fries made me no longer hungry. They smelt like fish and tasted like fish. I don’t eat fish and I was grossed out.
sat on second floor empty very quite server was very good. I had fish and chips, its was ok, fish coating should have had a crunch, it was a bit soggy. My wife had shepherd's pie which was almost ALL mashed potatoes not good. Will not be returning.
Had a friend visiting from London and wanted him to feel "at home". What better place than an authentic Irish Pub? Reservations for 7 PM, arrived early. Sat at the bar and had a "pint", then upstairs to the dining room. Seated immediately and found wide selection on the menu. Waitress was friendly, knew the menu in detail and was always there but unintrusive. Food was excellent as was the ambiance. Next visit to New York I will return.
One of my favorite places to go for a good lunch. Most definitely recommend to anyone who works in the area or visiting.
The burgers were great and we were seated and served within twenty minutes. It was a Wednesday night and there were plenty of tables, but we had made a reservation. It was one of the best burgers I've had (Memphis Spiced BBQ) and definitely the best in NYC after living here for 2 months. The servers were very attentive and it was a great atmosphere for a casual meal - I'm sure it was louder downstairs where the bar was but the noise was minimal on the second floor.
Decent selection of beers, good food (gaelic burger was fantastic), beautiful set up and friendly service. Will be planning a return trip when the weather is warmer to hang out on their roof deck 😎
I booked the reservation for this pub because their beer menu listed my husband’s favorite beer as being on tap. They, however didn’t have it. Fortunately he really enjoyed the Perfect Pint Golden Wheat and the price for a beer was better there than most places. The food was good, not outstanding. Even though we had booked our reservation well in advance they were crowded and were going to stick us in a tiny area near the kitchen. When I told the hostess we had a reservation she accommodated us at a better table.
My husband and I were in NYC for our anniversary and LOVED The Perfect Pint! I had the crab cakes, which super moist and amazing, and my husband had the shepherds pie. Wine and beer menus were plentiful. Great experience!
Perfect Pint had quick service, excellent food, and incredibly reasonable prices! Yo
We took our teens for dinner after a show. Very good food - not typical for an Irish pub.
My husband & I had dinner after seeing Network. It was a great meal, great beer & a great price! The service was exceptional. Next time we are in NYC we will be back. The sheperd's pie was probably the best I've had in the USA!
The Perfect Pint is fine for a casual night out. The food was good, though not fantastic.
Great meal and service; they were very accomodating in changing TV to our preferred team’s game for our viewing. Food was delicious and god draft beer selection
We arrived on time and was seated right away. The ambiance was warm and inviting. Our drinks and appetizers came quickly and both were fine. Both of our dinners ( mine bangers and mash, and hers a chicken salad ) were delicious. Our only disappointment was the cappuccino, not so good. We would rate our overall experience and value as high.
The service was quick and the food was delicious. For New York City, the Perfect Pint is a great value! I also love the location in relation to various Broadway theatres.
Food and service is always great!! Will definitely be going back.
Nice location in that it's near Times Square but away from the overpriced hustle and bustle. Everything about it was acceptably average.
Good place, food and service. Got there before the crowd.
This was our second time here at The Perfect Pint-West, and I have already recommended it to my friends. After our first visit, I immediately put it on my list of favorite casual restaurants in Manhattan.
It’s a perfect place for before or after the theater, and every other event. The food is great—so many good choices, including some Irish fare. I love the black bean and quinoa burger. I ordered it both times and will most likely order it the next time, too! After reading other reviews, I ordered the Irish red beer (I usually have wine), and it was as good as everyone said it was. If you like dessert, the Mississippi mud pie is outstanding! The service is excellent here, very friendly and very efficient. Prices are reasonable. I would love to see the party rooms and the rooftop bar! I’m looking forward to the warm weather so we can enjoy the rooftop.
So many times people criticize the restaurants in the theater district, and it really isn’t fair. This is a great restaurant and bar with a wonderful menu , very appealing ambiance, and excellent service.
Relaxed, lively atmosphere, friendly staff, great burgers, quick service. Great for locals, fun for visitors. Perfect location.
The food was great and a nice, comfortable atmosphere
We return to the Perfect Pint often when we’re coming to shows. The menu has something for everyone, the drinks are excellent, the waitstaff friendly and accommodating , and the food is delicious. The downstairs bar scene is energetic but the dining room upstairs is quiet and good for conversation.
Such a fun place! The servers were warm and friendly, the food was great and the atmosphere was so welcoming!
Classic irish pub with hearty food and cold beer.
Truly the perfect pint! Great atmosphere, and a good place for grabbing a bite before a show!
We had lunch on Saturday before our Matinee. The Perfect Pint is a quaint Irish pub/restaurant with friendly hosts and servers and delicious food. The menu had a great selection and everyone in our group of four really enjoyed their meal. I will definitely eat there again!
Exceeded our expectations. We'd definitely return. It was perfect for a rapid dinner before a play at the Lyceum Theatre, practically next door. We ate on the level above street level, which was clearly quiter than the ground level where the bar is. The four of us could easily carry on a conversation even though we're not all native English speakers. Service was quick and friendly, food was good: fish and chips, chicken pot pie.
Meghan provided awesome service. Food was great, good portions and authentic and atmosphere was very good for families and/or social gatherings. Good beer.
Great beer selection and great service. The food was delicious! Best shepherds pie I ever had! Nice menu selection and nice atmosphere!
Very nice, quaint and cozy Irish pub. Service was wonderful, everyone was very attentive and the food was really good and big portions. Need to come back when the weather gets nice and try the roof top bar
Hamburger was delicious and the Irish red was divine
This is my first online review and I feel I have to put down something after the wonderful experience here. The service was great. We ordered one appetizer, nachos with spinach dip, four entrees, burger, chicken pot pie, curry chicken and lobster ravioli. All dishes were delicious and the price is so reasonable. It’s just 5 min walk to the theater that we are going to after the meal. I would recommend this place to everyone!
Good service wings are great! I wouldn’t recommend for couples and groups
Perfect Pint is always a perfect spot! Reliable, comfortable bar food yet with welcome quite gourmet touches and friendly service. A great Broadway star!
This was one of our best meals and service so far in our trip. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
We had a great Irish meal at the Perfect Pint...great Bangers and Mash and a huge beer list. Right in the theatre district!
Great burgers, Very good food and service. Perfect spot for all the theaters.
Good Irish New York pub. Hamburgers were delicious! Great pub food with authentic Irish server. Would recommend
All the workers were amazing.
Great service and amazing food.
