The Perfect Pint - East Ratings and Reviews
The restaurant was in a convenient location to my office (3 blocks). We basically seated ourselves as there was no one there to seat us initially . Took a minute to get service. We actually finished our first sodas and was about to get refills when the food finally came out. The food was good though so it was worth the wait. The busboy was really anxious to take plates away as he was pulling my plate away as I was eating.
I may would go there again, but sit on the 2nd floor or at the bar.
Had dinner and beers on the rooftop seating area. Fun atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots of engagement with the customers that made it a memorable evening. Food was delicious and their beer was terrific! We had the IPA and the Golden Wheat. Will certainly return with friends!
Recently shared a meal with my lovely wife before a Broadway show. The Lobster bisque and Blue burger was excellent and went well with the Irish brews we ordered. Would definitely go back. I was considering getting the Fish n chips but changed my mind after seeing a plate delivered to a nearby table. It looked like a processed frozen fish filet instead of a hand dipped filet I was expecting.
We needed a casual spot in the east 40s for lunch on a Saturday, that would take a reservation. (This was the day of the Women's March, we assumed there would be crowds.) Happily, I found The Perfect Pint online, because the sandwiches and fries were very good. And, I definitely want to return to try the extensive choice of beers. The only problems were confusion about our reservation and not enough service staff. (They were clearly overwhelmed by the crowds that day.) Still, it didn't take long to get food. So, I will go defintely back on a less crazy day.
The food is very good. The only thing that was odd was the fact they accepted a reservation for 11:30 and told us when we arrived that they don't open until noon. We waited and were served prior to noon. Maybe update your reservation hour choices to reflect the actual time they open.
This was my 1st visit to The Perfect Pint at the suggestion of my friend. We both started with a pint. I had the Duvel which was a lite ale & my friend Mary had the goose IPA. We then both ordered the chicken over ceasar salad which was a perfect portion. I tried the buffalo and she had the breaded. After dinner we ordered another beer and headed to the rooftop bar. It was lively as it was a Friday evening. This was a good place for a dinner before a show which is what we did afterwards.
The food was terrible. The salmon and tuna in the teriyaki special tasted fishy and were dry and tough. The burgers were ok but nothing special. The service was very friendly and the roof top area is not too noisy. The beer is good. But the food was so bad that we will not be going back.
The Perfect Pint never fails, they have an extensive beer list and full premium bar. The food is always top notch. Whether you're just having drinks or staying for dinner you'll be glad you chose this place. The service is great and the menu has many options.
I love the Perfect Pint, especially this location. The service at East is way way way better than the service than Perfect Pint West (by Times Square). The food is fantastic and depending on what atmosphere you're looking for, you have 3 levels to choose from. The bottom floor is a lively bar scene, the rooftop is energetic, and the middle floor is great for food and conversation.
The food portions are reasonable as well as the prices. You can't go wrong with the calamari, salmon, & bangers and mash.
Met my godson for lunch and the reservation through Open Table helped get us seating in a hurry. Service was friendly and efficient and the meals--each of us had a salad (mine with calamari served warm) and an artichoke dip with chips--were outstanding. Great place!
Great beer selection with 30 plus taps, good food with a very pleasant waot staff. The 2nd and 3rd floors are the quite floors with the main bar area on the 1st as more noisy and more of a sports bar. 1st floor seems to be more crowded normally. A very good place to go and I wil go back there next time in NYC.
Daughter and I had dinner at the Perfect Pint - East on a Friday evening around 6 PM. Server recommended beef stew over fish and chips. Said it was one of her favorites and the fish and chips were overly breaded and heavy. The stew was delicious, however way too many potatoes versus meat or carrots. The fish WAS heavy and overly breaded. No where near the fish in chips one might find in London. Service was good. However, we had two different servers and couldn't really tell which one was THE server. Didn't mind the place but I wouldn't recommend it.
