Take in the picturesque view of Pikes Peak and Longs Peak just outside the restaurant's windows. Stop in on evenings and listen to the live music as you sip on a drink in our lounge and piano bar. When you're looking for a place to kick back and relax or rock the night away, you can't go wrong with the amazing food, extensive wine menu and live entertainment at The Perfect Landing.
Have been making this a regular since our first visit several months ago. Yet to be disappointed!
Appealing yet pricey menu. Oysters, while delicious, were the smallest we ever had. New England clam chowder is nothing like the true chowda from the NE and scant on clams. Bison burger and Sea Scallops were excellent as was the wedge salad. House Cabernet is a good choice.
Saturday evening is not your best choice if viewing plane action is important - at least that was the case for tonight.
Service was attentive and sunset views most enjoyable!
Always great place for the views and nice brunch over the weekend
Prices have gone up from the good old days but this restaurant never disappoints. Food and service are great and plane- watching is a great plus. Noise level allows for good conversation, even for older people.
A 6pm midweek dinner date with my wife got us a great table at the backside of the dining room overlooking the plane parking apron. Easy conversation along with a patient waiter and great view of aircraft activity really set a relaxed tone for our dinner. The Caesar salad was disappointing...lots of heavy stalks of Romain covered with a blanket of croutons hid the dressing and the Parmesan. We both chose the Scottish salmon, which was excellent although the quinoa salad which accompanied our entrees wouldn’t be our choice again. The two glasses of white house wines each for $15 worked well for both of us. Not our best meal here, but we’ll be back.
It’s a very nice place to bring family or friends for nice dining. It’s also great to watch aircraft land and takeoff if your into that!
I have always loved this place and always have a great experience!!
We had family in town and wanted to share a great meal with them. Our experience at Perfect Landing far exceeded our expectations. We have never had better seafood, especially oysters and crab legs, but every dish was outstanding. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the experience of the lights and planes on the tarmac. We are sold and will be back soon!
Service was rushed. The meat was undercooked. The shrimp was slimy. We have eaten at this restaurant before and the food was much better. Overall, a huge disappointment.
We had so much fun! We brought our 4 and 6 year old sons and they had a wonderful time watching the planes and enjoying live piano music. We've been coming for years and always look forward to our next visit.
We were seated promptly and had a nice dining experience. The menu is expansive enough to satisfy most appetites for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The wait staff are friendly and efficient without being bothersome. The portions are large without sacrificing quality. The setting is also unique in that you can watch the planes board, taxi, and take off and land; there is good sound proofing so you really don't hear the planes. You also have a nice view of the mountains. We'll definitely be back.
The food was fantastic and the ambience is lovely. However, the service is always slow here, and my most recent visit will be my last because of truly abysmal service. It took 10 minutes to get drinks at the bar, which would have been fine if we had at least been acknowledged by the many employees, but this was not the case. Drinks took forever, getting menus took forever, etc. Once at our table, our server actually walked past us and ignored us so many times that we didn’t realize he was our server. We finally flagged him down to find out who our server was and he said he was our server, as if that was self evident. Service continued in that vein for the entirety of our dinner, with us having to flag him down to get anything, including water, drinks, and our bill. We had to ask him if he had any specials and he acted like it was a real problem to have to describe them to us.
The atmosphere was exciting. My six year old son loved the view and that was the main attraction.
Open table app offered a 9:45 reservation.
The restaurant closed at 10:00??????
Never went, waste of time
Every time we visit the Perfect Landing, we are not disappointed. This time we went on a Monday and it was busy. However, the servers kept up and the food was very good. If you can get a table near the windows, you will have a great view of the mountains and the airplanes taking off and landing.
Classic spot, unique view of the runways and parking area, and beautiful for a sunset behind the mountains. Classy and elegant, fitting in with suits and dresses, but also comfortable in "Colorado casual" denim.
Unique. View of the mountains combined with the air traffic from military to business to care flights. Good food. Super fun. Always a pleasure.
Situated next to a runway and watching small/private planes land and take off makes this a unique setting that inspires conversation. A live pianist, a varied mix of demographics, good service and even better food is probably why the Perfect Landing is a favorite among so many people.
Great lunch with superb view, great food and great service!!
Will be returning for a repeat performance.
Went for breakfast. Good was good. It was quite. We usually go at night when it’s dark so seeing how dirty the floors and floor heating vents were was disappointing. We will still go again as it’s such a cool place to see airplanes and the food is good but hopefully they way pay closer attention to the details when cleaning.
Perfect Landing is a nice place for lunch. Plane watching is a plus.
Never been disappointed w/ Service, Cuisine & Uniqueness. And Waitresses have been excellent.
Excellent, as always. Food and service were great. Not too noisy able to converse with each other. We celebrated a birthday and it’s very special to go there.
Awesome venue. Very relaxing
It was very busy We had to ask several times for water and finally got up and got our own. Our waiter was so slow returning to our table we were going to the bar to get our own drinks. We ordered a bottle of wine when we placed our dinner order and were half way through our meal before we got it. We have been there several times and this was by far the worst service we have had. Not sure we will return.
Daughters birthday. Jason was awesome! We will be back for another beautiful sunset.
Fun watching the planes land and take off. Food was fantastic as we had a variety of breakfast entrees to choose from. Kirsten was our server and she did a fabulous job of taking care of us. Food was hot and delicious.
First time to the Perfect Landing and will definitely be returning. My girlfriend and I came for dinner prior to a movie date and it was very busy. We made reservations and only had to wait about 2-3 minutes before being seated. Very nice ambiance and a very unique place for a restaurant. The food was wonderful. We'd been in Boston a couple months ago and ate at a great restaurant with similar fare and the Perfect Landing was just as delicious as Boston and we had oysters on the half shell and I had the Newport Pie (a new favorite). Girlfriend had filet and crab legs that were very good as well. Put it on your list if you're in the DTC / Centennial area.
The food is excellent. The restaurant overlooks a runway at centennial airport which is interesting to watch.
I ordered the steak and shrimp and it had very good flavor but the beef was chewy. The scalloped potatoes were delicious and spicy with just the right amount of jalapeno. We like the wine deal; purchase one bottle of wine, get the second bottle for $1.00.
My husband and I went to The Perfect Landing for Valentine's Day dinner. The Valentine's day menu had plenty of options to choose from, which was great! While waiting for our table we sat at the bar for a cocktail and enjoyed the live piano music. Our table was against the glass facing the airstrip, a great view to watch the planes come in! We ordered a crab cake to share (INCREDIBLE), a bottle of wine (well priced!), and we each ordered soup - I had the lobster bisque which was really good but also a bit too salty and my husband had the clam chowder (which was delicious!), my husband ordered the lobster for dinner and I ordered the scallops. The lobster was HUGE! For the quality of food and service we received we really felt like the it was such a good value. We ended up passing on dessert, we were so full by the end of the meal as the portions were quite large! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Next time we will be coming in for brunch :)
Always the perfect place for a date. Food was excellent, atmosphere is great and fantastic wine prices. Love it.
Wait staff and food was very very good. Front end staff was very very below par. Dined here several times and never been treated so rudely.
They ruined my Valentines!! The host had someone take us to a tiny table in between two other tiny tables very close together. It was just not going to work for us on many levels, one being that my husband is on the larger side. I asked for another table even suggesting an empty small table but on the end. There were many empty tables. We were told no that the owner had mapped everything out and we could not change. We proceeded to leave and I asked the host but again was told no. That table or nothing. We left and it totally ruined our night. I would never, ever recommend this restaurant! Very, very poor customer service.
Always perfect. Easy menu. Low noise.
Most of us had really good food, but my salad was lacking.
This dinner was very disappointing. The filet i ordered had been cut nearly through to check doneness. The few pieces of asparagus were completely immersed in butter and soggy. The waiter delivered au gratin potatoes vs the baked potato i ordered and it took an hour to be served our meal.
The venue of the airport is very nice, but this restaurant was just plain bad..
Incredible staff. Great good. Amazing view.
Fantastic as usual
Food is always amazing!!
