It took longer than usual for dinner wine to arrive but otherwise excellent experience. Delicious pecan pie compensated for the time!
Dined here 3 nights in a row while working a convention in town. Took a different set of customers each night. Service, staff and food was consistent and good. Will return here next time in town. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a local flavor.
I make a point to visit Pelican Club whenever I’m in New Orleans and I have never been anything but delighted.
Great service, excellent food, nice location. One of the best dinners we have had.
Set within the French Quarter down a charming picturesque court area. This is an elegant well run establishment with good food and wine at reasonable prices but it’s not cheap. The Prix fixe menu is good value and with a good balanced selection of dishes.
One of my favorites in the Quarter!
Delaney made the dinner! SUPER personality and did a great job on just her second night of working at this old New Orleans established restaurant. The trio of duckling was excellent, though the confit was only warm. The broiled oysters to start was outstanding as was my wife’s salad with endive, grapefruit and goat cheese. Her fresh catch of the day was indeed that, served with succotash. The coconut cream pie for dessert was the best I’ve ever had. Shoutout to Vicky who was watching over Delaney during in her training.
Absolutely my most favorite restaurant!!
The rack of lamb is to die for!!
This is a high class restaurant that does everything right: food, service, and atmosphere. The Pre Fixe menu is the best.
A hidden gem in the French Quarter. Excellent service and a delicious meal. Our server was informative and attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting New Orleans to put this restaurant on their list.
Our first table was in the main dining room. Two very large tables were next to us so it was extremely loud. We asked to be moved. The manager was extremely accommodating and moved us to the second room which was better. Food was good except the appetizer ribs were average. Expensive for a small portion and were not very tasty. But overall it was a fun nite.
Great Resturant for entertaining business clients
Rack of lamb returned to kitchen because temperate ordered was medium and what was delivered was raw when it was returned it was closer to well done
Other than the tables being close together the overall experience was very good as the food and the service were excellent
My server Ron and the host were great!
A great traditional NOLA restaurant, as good as any more well known names.
It was a beautiful dinner with attentive service... and the food was served in a timely manner without the he rush
Great Experience overall! Outstanding service!! I will definitely return in the future and also recommend to others.
The first two rooms are nice while the 3rd room is not on par with othe others. If course, that's where we were seated. They forgot our appetizer and delivered the entrees. When we inquired about it our waiter apoligized and offered to get it. We cancalled it but he wanted to bring it anyway complimentay. It showed on the bill. They served the second Black Cherry Martini without the cherry. Many other great option in the Quarter
The only problem we had was it was exceptionally hot in our area of the dining room and so it affected our ability to enjoy our meal .... otherwise, the food and service was phenomenal as always!
The food and service were great!
Wonderful food. Waiter was very helpful in describing dishes. We had the lamb. Tender with a crispy coating. Best meal! We also had the lobster which was excellent as well
The fix price menu was amazing as was the pecan pie and flounder!
Nice atmosphere and a wonderful staff. The food was very good and the menu was creative and varied.
Jason was an excellent server. Food was excellent and decent portion sizes. Great experience
Amazingly not busy after 9pm of Mardi Gras.
Food was on par for the price and location, however, service was lacking. Staff was friendly, but did not seem to have the proper training for the level of restaurant.
I have never been disappointed with a meal at the Pelican Club.
The Pelican Club provided a great atmosphere with great food and service. Their gumbo tastes great as well!
This was the last night of a long weekend in New Orleans. I had the rack of lamb which was delicious. It was a lot of food so my husband helped me out! He had the whole flounder and said it was great. Service good
