The Pearson Room
The interior draws inspiration from a broad description of a 1950’s stylised Hitchcock approach to design; born from an era in which the traditional attitudes of the time were challenged and that have endured in the decades to come and right up to the present day. With heritage leather seating, a large zinc bar and stunning vistas over looking Canada Square, the atmosphere is one of easy-going indulgence, combining a stylish and cosy design. The Pearson Room owes its name to the eminent Canadian Nobel Prize winning Canadian Statesman, Lester B. Pearson. We offer an atmosphere that is vibrant and bustling, yet still personal, playful and welcoming.
Prime dining spot on Canary Wharf. Great menu, service to match and quality food.
Avocado on toast was awful. Such a tight portion of avocado. You should be ashamed!
Really nice restaurant / bar with great views and super attentive service. Food is very average sadly and way overpriced for what you get. I won’t be rushing back for food but would go back for drinks only.
Food was nice, service was good and the wine was very nice!
Food ok. Service patchy. Veganuary options poor in comparison to other places - especially dessert.
Pricey for what you receive in food & service. I suppose you are paying more for location.
Lovely salad, not busy but considering that the service was slow at times and had to remind the staff about our coffee order which they forgot. Despite that I will be back the food is excellent here.
Good location, good table size, and a cool vibe. Quiet enough for conversations.
No complaints the food was good just a bit overpriced for what it is
Great place for friendly informal meetings
We were sat near the bar on the raised area, where our server forgot about us most of the time. So it took us a while to order drinks and then only half the order turned up and then the wrong order. Very disappointing as it was a client meeting and this has never happened before, as the service is usually fantastic as I eat a lot here.
We had Lunch. Simple but effective And tasty. Staff were good.
Great location, beautiful decor and accommodating staff. Food options simple but very tasty. A bit on the pricey side.
Always fast and efficient service. Had the Cobb salad which was very good and good size. Colleague had jerk chicken and avocado sandwich- also good. Great place when you have limited time for a sit down lunch.
Shocking food - the toast was wafer thin and non existent as was the avocado. A complete rip off.
Overpriced. The food was ok although the coffee it’s great! The service was so slow...the place is beautifully decorated, big spaces. We were in a large table where Eve was comfortable, if only the food were better!
Excellent service, nice venue and even though there were some parties the noise was fine. Food was excellent and the sticky toffee pudding was dangerous :)
Beef sliders were cold when replacements came they were colder and under cooked.
Great view, friendly service. Food ok but our choices were fairly basic. Price good too. Only negative is table spacing - too close together....I’d go again though. Way to get to and not overcrowded
Pearson Room is a great place for a business breakfast. Lots of food choices, including for those with dietary restrictions, in a pleasant setting in the heart of Canary Wharf. Look it up!
Good food lovely atmosphere and well priced . I would recommend.
Good food and good service and in a nice setting. There was a little noise but we could still hear each other (a long table of 6).
Perfect for a catch up with friends, clients or colleagues. Great service and good food.
Great food and service - a bit loud for a nice dinner with corporate drinks in every corner!
I have eaten at The Pearson Rooms before but only breakfast and lunch. This time it was dinner with two friends. The menu is good for both food and wine & drinks. The staff were really great and were very friendly. The restaurant was very busy with private business parties which meant it was extremely noisy. This actually made the whole experience very unpleasant. Check before you book. Otherwise this is a really great place.
Good food and a nice environment. However, a bit noisy for business lunch sessions.
Great vibe and cocktails! Love the buffalo wings!
Really like the Pearson room, great, fresh healthy dishes and good gf options
Wine list is a bit lacking and overpriced (for wines by the glass)
And it's remarkably noisy..had a sore throat as I needed to shout over the entire "romantic" dinner for 2!
Very limited vegan options.
We always got to Pearson room... The service is great, food is good and a nice view... If you are vegetarian, the options are minimal..
Very attentive service and the food was delicious.
It was open plan and can be noisy but overall a positive experience.
My friend and I got together with some old friends who were visiting. The food and service were good and the place is good for meeting/chatting.
The setting was very nice, modern, clean with good views of Canada Square. The service was good, the food was very nice, good portion size and delivered in good time. The price was acceptable. Overall, I had a very enjoyable time at The Pearson Room and would recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat at Canary Wharf.
The Pearson Room is a nice place to grab a lunch/coffee - fairly relaxed atmosphere with some good food. also great for after work drinks.
Nice place - good GF options, although as a New Yorker, the Reuben wasn't up to scratch but I set the bar high!
The service was hit and miss and considering there were many free tables we was put in the middle with drinkers nearby so it was very noisy! However, we was not rushed and the restaurant was very spacious. I would return for brunch when it's a but quieter.
Great tae on the balcony with views out. Nicely spaced for conversation without feeling empty. Food quality was very good.
Poor staff service. Not enough staff. Requests not actions. Wouldn’t go back.
I thought I would try The Pearson Room after a couple of years as I thought it may have improved but sadly it hasnt . Surly staff (no smiles here!) and decidedly average and overpriced food.
It looks good but I wouldnt return for food, maybe for drinks.
Lovely place and generous portions for the price, we ordered too much but would not have wanted to miss out on anything. We had small plates and sides, particular recommendations for the chicken wings, squid and mac and cheese (huge pot for a cheap side) very friendly and helpful staff
It was really busy and loud on a Friday evening so not recommended for a romantic dinner. Food was fresh and flavoursome. Loved the crab starter and the poke main was OK. C lassie cocktails and not enough bubbles by the glass.
