A Jewel Long in the Making. And well worth the wait. Cameron Mitchell’s, The Pearl, is a well-polished culinary jewel that showcases made-from-scratch food, classically inspired cocktails and an exclusive selection of Ales, Lagers & Stouts. All within one urban and cozy tavern. White exposed brick, original hard wood floors, over-sized iron beams and windows that open to High Street complete this unique gastropub, located in the Short North Arts District.
Please excuse the construction debris. Our Valet Service is still available during normal hours and the garage behind us on West Russell is also open for business as usual. The City of Columbus is beautifying the Short North and construction is a bit of a mess out front. Thank you for your understanding.

Met up with my husband’s mother and her friend and we had an unforgettable brunch!! Katie (I believe that was her name) did an amazing job answering any questions and had an amazing sense of humor. We always enjoy coming to The Pearl. The waffles are EXCEPTIONAL.

The food was absolutely delicious! I got the salmon special and it was the best fish I’ve ever had! The ambiance was so warm and romantic- perfect for a date night!

Service and food we're both excellent. Combinations were unexpected, creative and very successful! If you order the hanger steak with the kimchee fried rice, be aware that the kimchee isn't messing around, but if you have a bit of everything in each bite, it is fantastic.

Staff here really sets this restaurant apart from most. Attentive to right degree and friendly. Great selection of beer on tap. Charcuterie as an appetizer was amazing - could be meal by itself. Pâté was extraordinary. Had fish & chips - fresh perch with light batter. Quite tasty. Fries were decidedly over-salted but nice cuts with some potato skin remaining. We did not have desert.

Seems like a very authentic restaurant- open kitchen concept - great background music.

Food was very good as always. Love the overall vibe and menu.
Prices are a bit high for Columbus, Ohio IMO, but I’d say worth it as it’s easier to get to than SF of NYC. Ha! Server could have been more knowledgeable but couldn’t have been nicer.
One of our favorite Columbus restaurants.

So much fun, out waiter was fabulous, my only complaint was the Ricotta Dumplings were slightly overcooked. The Devils on Horseback app is amazing! Overall very good!

Our server was in attentive. She brought the wrong drink, and then she was very slow in coming to check on us and ask us if we needed anything. Overall bad service maybe she was just having an off night?

Our server, Gabby, combined just the precise amount of attentiveness. She knew when to approach us meaning she kept an eye on us while working away from our table.

Brunch food was excellant and spicy Bloody Marys are the best anywhere. My husband enjoys the Chesapeake Bay oysters on the half-shell. The only cons were that the music was a little too loud and the lighting a tad too dim (hard to read the menu where we sat). All-in-all, it was a very enjoyable experience.

My husband and I spent the night in Columbus for my birthday and we had dinner at The Pearl as it was recommended by a friend.
It did not disappoint. From the fabulous deviled eggs, to the to the ricotta dumplings and finally the jalapeno spoon bread, it was AMAZING! The service was also on point.
I'd recommend this place to anyone. Go Eat and Enjoy yourself. It is definitely worth it!

Ambiance was nice and there was no wait since we reserved our table. I had the grits and eggs which were fantastic, but my friend got the chicken and waffles and wasn't impressed with either half of the dish. Overall it's a good place to try :)

Not sure what all the hype is about this place. The ambiance was cool enough I guess but that’s about the only positive thing I have to say about it. The service was terrible. We ordered drinks and it took 30 minutes to arrive! The place was busy and I don’t think they had enough bartenders on duty. The menu is pretty limited but there’s something for everyone. The food was good but nothing to write home about. We did order a brown sugar pie with Johnson’s vanilla ice cream for the table for dessert and that was delicious. I had higher expectations overall given its ranking as a “can’t miss restaurant” - Doubt we’ll go back.

We were really disappointed in the food. The devils on horseback and my fish special were both tough. We also ordered a piece of derby pie to share, and it was almost impossible to get a fork through, we literally had to force a knife through it to cut it into pieces. Not sure what’s going on, we used to like coming here bit haven’t been in a while.... i really am sorry to say I won’t be in any hurry to come back. We actually got a reservation in two hours, on Gallery Hop night no less, weird.

We were seated in the very back of the restaurant in a corner booth. They had the front windows opens which was nice when we were waiting to be seated, but it was FREEZING the a/c was blowing on us are entire meal. It wasn’t a enjoyable meal at all because it was so cold. Couldn’t wait to leave. Literally 10 degree difference once we stared walking towards the front. Food was ok! Will we will be back probably not. Very noisy and he’s to ha e a conversation.

The manager, I believe her name was Lori was outstanding. She sent a piece of the brown sugar pie to the table since it was my husband's 50th birthday celebration. The young lady that was our waitress was excellent also. They both handled a customer that was a little challenging for his birthday beautifully. I would highly recommend The Pearl for it's excellent unique menu and for the outstanding service.
