A Jewel Long in the Making. And well worth the wait. Cameron Mitchell’s, The Pearl, is a well-polished culinary jewel that showcases made-from-scratch food, classically inspired cocktails and an exclusive selection of Ales, Lagers & Stouts. All within one urban and cozy tavern. White exposed brick, original hard wood floors, over-sized iron beams and windows that open to High Street complete this unique gastropub, located in the Short North Arts District.
Please excuse the construction debris. Our Valet Service is still available during normal hours and the garage behind us on West Russell is also open for business as usual. The City of Columbus is beautifying the Short North and construction is a bit of a mess out front. Thank you for your understanding.

We had two reservations for a total of 7, stopped day before to ask to have our tables together if at all possible. Said most likely not, so we said ok. When we arrived Sunday they said we think we can make it work! It was Easter, so we know it was busy. It was fabulous service, decor is great including the women’s bathroom! Our food was out of this world! Home made tater tots, OMG! The Jalapeño Corn Bread with Maple Butter to die for! Everyone said the same thing about their food and we all got something different! The only ask I would have it to have a vegan option (my 21yr old), but we made it work!
Please open one in Philly, it can’t go wrong!!

Easter brunch was good. Some typical brunch choices but some unusual ones as well. Limited options for vegetarians although accommodating re changes. Bloody Mary was excellent. Special duck hash also good. Great atmosphere and service.

Enjoyed Easter Brunch at The Pearl. The food was great (the cinnamon rolls were my favorite!), but the service was truly exceptional and made the experience feel special and memorable.

The server was attentive and the food was good. The environment is really nice. I feel like value is hit or miss on some of the menu items.

Amazing food. We had baked oysters and clams, plus a to die for grilled octopus. This is a fun restaurant. The service was good(not great). The only down side was the noise level. It was beyond uncomfortable.

I was happy the Pearl hostess honored my request for a table near the window. We ordered Moscow Mules because we used to go to the Pearl a lot when they first opened, specifically for the mules and the beet salad. The mules have changed since then. The Pearl now uses Watershed Vodka and adds lime zest to the drink, so for our second round we ordered Absolut Vodka and no lime zest - much better mule. The chicken and waffles were wonderful, the beet salad was okay - seemed like something changed with that - maybe it was not as fresh? Don’t order the grits and eggs - this dish was not all that - how can anyone mess up grits and eggs? Overall, we still enjoyed ourselves and will definitely go back and will recommend the Pearl to everyone.

The Pearl is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. The look and feel of this restaurant is unlike any other in the city, and the food is always amazing (you have to get the jalapeno corn spoon bread... and there's ALWAYS room for their delicious handmade pie for dessert). Anytime someone asks me where they should go on a visit to our city, the answer is always The Pearl. Just make sure you get a reservation for any night of the week you plan on going!

Loved everything about our trip to The Pearl. The food was perfect - the hanger steak entree is my favorite entree of all Cameron Mitchell restaurants. Hanna was a stellar server who was fun and attentive - she really put the experience over the top. We will definitely return soon.

My entree of shrimp and grits was a soupy consistency which caused me to ask for extra portion of grits which they willingly complied with my request. Other than that, it was an average dining experience.

Thanks so much to the Pearl for taking our group of 12 at 9:45 pm. They did not make us feel rushed and accommodated us when we were 15 minutes late and the kitchen was closing at 10:00 and they were great! We loved it and would recommend them to all!!!!

Great local feeling place. Clam chowder presentation was wonderful-2 little clams in center! Very filling and delicious. Burger had by hubby was great. I had wings which were a bit dry and not the best. All in all a decent meal.

Great Oyster Shooters. Nice oysters on the half shell selection. Good bar tender and friendly waitstaff. Our party of 6 all enjoyed a variety of entrees. Save room for a slice of pie. Good crowd for a Sunday evening.

This was our second time here, we've been here once for dinner and once for brunch and both were great! The grits I had were the best I've ever had and the rest of the food was equally delicious. It's definitely pricey, with cocktails about $10 each but nothing over the top.

We a fantastic experience at our first time at the Pearl. It was definitely an experience, service and food was top notch. The spoon corn bread was a phenomenal starter while the octopus was the most tender I've ever had. All of our meals were served hot and well-seasoned. This is definitely a gem for any OSU family to visit while in Columbus. We highly recommend it!

Love The Pearl! Only complaint is the high mark up on wine compared to other restaurants. Service is always 100 % We enjoyed the fish and chips and hanger steak both were excellent! The daily special of walleye was good but not memorable.
