Our Valet Service is available during normal hours and the public pay garage behind us on West Russell is also open for business.
Thanks, Jess (I hope I got the name right!!), for a great evening! Can’t wait to return to Columbus and revisit The Pearl!
Amazing. Top notch like usual.
I'm a huge fan of seafood, but have never been a fine dining person. This place changed my mind quite a bit. The oysters were amazing and the small menu made it much more approachable. The inclusion of burgers and sandwiches made it feel like everyone could eat there. I also really liked the beer selection. We went on a night when CBJ played so the crowd was probably a bit different than it usually would have been. Overall I can't wait to go back and try a fresh made pie. Hats off to everyone for making our anniversary memorable.
Probably not. It was a Friday night and there were several large parties and the noise level was high.
Also, the menu had not changed much since last time we were there several months ago. The server was very attentive and he was busy. But the noise level was so high it was almost chaotic.
We enjoyed a wonderful evening at The Pearl. Food, ambiance, service, everything was top notch. We’ll be back!
Waiter was so nice and accommodating! Gave excellent recommendations.
Great food as usual. The acoustics are not really conducive to intimate conversation, but not sure there’s much you can do about that. Because it’s always so busy, it’s not really a restaurant suited for leisurely dining; we do feel rushed when we are there. But we will be back :-)
innovative food & cocktail menu, interesting decor, comfortable ambiance, recommended
Good service, good food bad parking...need valet and not at marcella
The Pearl is the ideal restaurant for a date. Delicious food - caring and personable service - and great ambiance with plenty of spots for an intimate conversation. It was our first time in and took some recommendations from staff and boy were we blown away with our dishes: roast chicken, and the catch of the day salmon. We were visiting from out of town, but we'd be there every month if we lived close enough. Absolutely LOVED it.
We started with a house Manhattan and a house margarita. Both were outstanding. We had three starters, clams, hard boiled eggs and tater tots. They were awesome. We had braised short rib and a pub burger both were delicious. Finished with brown sugar and peanut butter pies and Fresh coffee. Scrumptious. Our Server Chris was excellent. Very attentive.
Amazing service! We loved Gabby! The food was awesome.
Birthday brunch was a good time. Service should have been better and food was only Luke warm
Everything on the menu that we’ve had this far has been stellar. Everyone that’s taken care of us has gone above and beyond. We appreciate all of the staff and plan to return often.
Great ambiance, great food!
Seriously, this place was everything I wanted for brunch so I had to rate it so high. I know it's a great brunch menu when I'm so excited about the cocktails and food that I forget to order coffee! Comfortable, friendly, and cool, brunch was excellent, the people were great (diners and servers)and I would come back later just to have a beer and a snack.
Great food, drinks, ambiance and service! Will definitely be back!
Went there for my birthday with some friends we had never been there. We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and the service was very good we will be going back soon.
Don't go on a Saturday morning during a home game. It was our fault. They were deep in the weeds and couldn't help it.
Great staff, food was really good. The place was busy but we were seated quickly and service was timely. Overall we had a great time.
The short rib never disappoints!
Unfortunately this was the worst experience we've ever had at the pearl. It wasn't necessarily bad. It's just usually fantastic! Our waiter was sub par at best. Drinks sat empty without being asked if we wanted refills. It felt like we spent a lot of our evening looking for him. The pearl has been a favorite of ours since it opened so it was disappointing to have such an underwhelming experience.
Service was slow. Portions were small and the overall not very flavorful.
Cameron Mitchel has the best restaurants in any city I've lived in. Orlando, Boulder, Boca Raton, Miami. It's the attention to detail, It's the Management, It's the Chefs and their Ability to create dishes for all types of people, and did I mention my Wife has Celiac Disease. Not many people know what this is in the restaurant business and Cameron Mitchel tries hard to educate his employees on this topic. It's the real reason for Gluten Free!! Well Done!
This place was OK. It is very crowded, which was nice to know that it was popular (and likely good), but the tables were jammed in there, so you are practically sitting on top of the people next to you. My bill was $203 for two of us, which was definitely not worth it. The artic Char was the only fish on the menu, and it was OK, but I will not have it again. The waiter did describe it as "salmon but with a fishy taste", which was a perfect description. The $2 oysters on Thursday was nice, and they are definitely good. The $50 bottle of wine was OK. They charged us $3 for bread, twice! I have never seen that before. After the entrees came I was without a fork (taken after removing the oyster plates) and after waiting 5 min trying to flag down a waiter as my entree was getting cold, I had to get out of my seat to go hunt one down. I'll probably go again, but order something a little less pricey such as the flank steak or fish and chips.
Food delicious drinks good ambiance great!
Food is usually good. Tonight it was a bit salty across all dishes. Waiter was fantastic. Drinks were pretty solid. Baked oysters were excellent. Charcuterie board was a bit weak. Usually include cheeses, had to add. Not enough bread with the board. Scallops were excellent.
Short Rib and Arctic Char were great dishes. Service when we visited was terribly slow. Without appetizer or dessert it took over 90 minutes. Did not get water refill or second cocktail until nearly finished with dinner because waiter never returned. Took 25 minutes from the time we got our check to actually have the waiter return and run our card. Ambiance is very nice, but some areas are a bit cramped. Front is louder than rear seating area.
A great spot in the Short North, just North of the convention center.
Seating was too close together and I was disappointed because it was a birthday dinner and Cameron Mitchell usually presents the individual with a complimentary dessert
It was my son 21st Birthday. Everything was wonderful. I brought my own cake in and our waitress had someone cut it and put the pieces on plates. Very nice touch to our special occasion
Good was exceptional and the service was flawless. The chef cane and greeted us
Food was amazing!
Great diner with three generations of our family. Lots of fun for everyone. A bit loud, but not in a bad way.
Easily made a reservation the day of for lunch. We started with appetizers (seafood tower and confit chicken wings) and the mimosa kit (full bottle of champagne and juice) both which were fabulous. Our lunch entrees came out timely and were also very good. We finished our meal with some of the house made pies - we had a mud pie and brown sugar pie. So good! Our server was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend for lunch or dinner!
Always great service, food (quality and selection), and ambiance. Favorite brunch spot when I’m in Columbus. Highly recommend The Pearl.
Best Oysters in town
Great meal and service. Busy but not a long wait for our table.
Our server was inattentive even though we advised her that we had a time limitation for a Broadway show. The food took forever to be served. The fried chicken was dry and the green bean casserole cold. She never really checked on us. When asked to split the bill, she did it incorrectly, but we did not have time to get it fixed. This was my third time here and the service was poor the second time also. I will not be returning.
Excellent! Have been to The Pearl twice now. Have had outstanding brunch and dinner.
