Setting for this restaurant is quaint in Old Town Bluffton! Prices are not shy and waiter was not up to par but nice! Didn’t ask how the meal was until we were finished and another waiter actually walked by and cleared our dishes for him. Food was ok but on the high side. Took a long time for waiter to actually take our order.

Dinner was a disaster. Service was terrible (20 minutes for a drink, there almost 3 hours waiting for food). Food tasted okay, nothing special, but seafood in dish I had was bad and I was up all night getting sick.

Food is always is superb, I had the tuna cooked perfectly, my better half the grouper, calamari, and kimchi wraps all delish. Now that we live down here, this is our favorite restaurant. Great service and ambiance.

We had a great evening at The Pearl.

We were greeted warmly by the hostess and led to a table near the kitchen. Normally this would produce an eye-roll from me but the efficiency of the wait staff and kitchen crew was mesmerizing.

This was one of the most flavorful meal paired with good wine we have had since pre-COVID.

Food was remarkable!

The food was good, our server Eric was abysmal at best. After getting our meals,NYE disappeared not to be seen for quite some time. We sat with empty plates in front of us for a minimum of 20 minutes, servers and bussers walked by on multiple occasions, looked at our employ plates and just kept in walking.

Pricey. Outstanding service. Menu has not changed in years.

It’s our second visit and it was excellent like the first visit our favorite restaurant in Bluffton food is always fantastic we sat at a high top in the bar area close to the guitar player so it was a little loud but it was a last minute thing and he is a very good entertainer can’t wait to get back

A gem of a find in Old Bluffton
Modern well decorated setting with good patio space.
Quirky fun waiter and delicious off menu specials. The soft shell crabs were very well cooked and served with light flavorful

Good food but very noisy

The food was more than fabulous, our experienced waiter Eric was top notch and the piano music elevated our experience even further. We were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday and can’t wait to return. I had the fresh sea bass special and my husband had the huge grass-fed New York strip steak. Both were amazing!

As always, the staff at the Pearl went above and beyond. The food and service were amazing and created a wonderful birthday dinner. It’s our favorite restaurant for good reason. Says a lot that the staff is the same year after year.

Grouper and little neck clams were outstanding

We dined on a lovely covered porch. Adding to the ambiance was a guitar player/singer inside the restaurant, and his music was piped through the outdoor speakers. The meal was delicious.

We really enjoyed the Pearl! We were seated right away with our reservation and greeted soon after. We started with apps- she crab soup, tuna poke, kimchi lettuce wraps. The wraps were a little messy but everything was very tasty!
For dinner we had scallops, one of the seafood specials, and a tuna dish. Everything was timed perfectly, we never felt rushed and we very much enjoyed the finale of caramel cheesecake!

Excellent service from server Nate. Food was excellent, generous portions and served hot! Will definitely be back!

Anniversary

From the appetizers to the entrees to the dessert, the food was excellent!

Food was overpriced/ $28 for chicken piccata that was 90% pasta is a little ridiculous. Drinks and ambiance were nice. Service was good.

We have never been disappointed here. Everything is delicious, fresh, and served hot. The kimchi lettuce wraps were amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals... shrimp and crab piccata, filet mignon, scallops, and tuna. Save room for dessert because that bread pudding is superb.

Dining outside on patio, lovely. Plenty of heaters. Food was good. I wish we did not put our dinner order in until we enjoyed our first glass of wine. Salad and dinner came out too fast. Bottle of wine, drinks, salad and dinner -done and out of restaurant in 1hour 15 minutes. Saturday evening dinner, not a quick lunch

My wife and I had a great time over all. But know what you are getting, great food and very casual culture. The outside seating is a little cramped and there is an issue with gnats. I recommend sitting inside again a bit cramped but at least no bugs. The food was wonderful but took a bit to get out. It took about 45 min to get our order. It appeared there was some issue in the back. The staff was nice and our server was great she checked on us regularly and kept apologizing for the delay. The hostesses could use some grooming but they were nice if a bit unprofessional. In general for the price point (We averaged about $90 each) I would expect a smoother running experience and a more unified culture with the staff.. Perhaps as they get some experience under their belt this will smooth out.

we always love The Pearl, service is professional while also warm and personal. Menu great options and all delicious. The Ambience, clean and crisp yet intimate and cozy, so well done as always.

Biggest complaint - champagne was served warm. Obviously, they must not serve it very often- they should know to serve it ice cold. I got salmon and it was very good but thought sides were not so great. My husband said his bouillabaisse was very good.

Server was a little overworked but did a good job.

Excellent food, great ambience, friendly wait staff.

For $55 the 7 ounce filet was not a quality cut of meat and worse, it was sitting in a bed of runny mashed potatoes.

Scallops were delicious.

Salads were above average.

The Brussels sprouts were not grilled and flavored as advertised - soggy, steamed and sitting in water. Ugh....very disappointing.
