The Peached Tortilla Ratings and Reviews
Absolutely LOVE this place! It’s romantic but also very casual. Very versatile! I can’t say enough good things about the ever changing DELICIOUS food menu options and friendly staff! Not to mention Eric, the owner, is down to earth and values his guests experiences!
I absolutely love this place! I've had their regular menu before but went specifically on Wednesday for Whiskey and Fried Chicken night. The food was fantastic and also so much of it. For $16 a piece, we got 3 pieces of chicken, and three huge sides. The fried chicken was really light, not a super heavy batter and the chicken was incredibly delicious. I thought the star of the night was the kale with bacon. I'm not a huge kale fan but it was cooked so perfectly. Service was great, drinks were great. Atmosphere is great for anything: date night, out with friends, I've even taken my family there!
We have been to the Peached Tortilla several times before, and decided to return for our Anniversary this year. The food and cocktails were delicious, as usual, and after dinner we were surprised by our lovely waitress with dessert, champagne and an adorable card from the Peached Tortilla staff! Thank you to the entire staff for a fun, memorable anniversary dinner!
When we arrived we were warmly greeted and got a booth which we had requested.
The food was wonderful. We started with wings which were nicely seasoned and followed with Trio Tacos. It was really good - each one. My husband liked the crispy fish one. We had the fried rice - freshly made and so good. The cocktails were tasty. I had a glass of Pinot noir from Oregon.
The service was friendly and informative. She was very attentive and never rushed.
She said because it was our first visit she would like to treat us to desert. It was the movies theater that I heard about. It did not disappoint. Very unique and flavorful - highly recommend. The owner came by and asked for feedback good and bad. We said Everything was good - we couldn’t think of a single thing. It’s amazing welcoming spot with great food. We will be back.
I went to the Peached Tortilla to celebrate my birthday with friends, and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious. The staff was attentive and went out of their way to make it a nice dinner for us -- from every employee signing a birthday note to the chef coming out to see how our meal was to the complimentary dessert. 10/10 would recommend.
My husband and I actually came here for our first wedding anniversary on Friday. Peached Tortilla catered our wedding, and we've eaten here quite a few times before, but they really went above and beyond to make our anniversary special. There's a reason this place is always busy and why they're able to keep expanding in a competitive market like Austin. Their food and cocktails are fantastic, but their people are really what make the restaurant stand out above other places in Austin. Thank you so much to Peached Tortilla for making our day special! <3
Always love the Peached Tortilla!! Fun vibrant ambiance, amazing cocktails, delicious food and incredible service-maybe some of the best I've experienced in Austin. And its all super affordable for a nice meal out: $35/ person including 1.5 drinks, shared app, 2 entrees and desert. Please don't ever go away!
We went to Peached Tortilla for a pre-bachelorette dinner. The food was great! We ordered lots of dishes and were able to share them all easily. The food was amazing- some were quite spicy so be aware. The only negative item would be that when I asked how spicy the habanero-infused tequila was (an ingredient in one of the cocktails), I was told that "no one had ever complained about the spiciness before" so I ordered the drink. Holy moly was the drink spicy. It burned from the first sip. I had the other 4 ladies I was with taste it and they all confirmed it was very spicy. Consider this drink complained about, Peached Tortilla. I ordered another drink and it was amazing (still was charged for the undrinkable spicy drink tho). I want to end on a positive note, however, because the food was great. The sous vide brisket saam was to die for! It was so tender and flavorful with the gochujang sauce. Loved it!
We've been going to Peached Tortilla for years now. It has been always consistent with great food and knowledgeable/caring/friendly staff. We go there as often as we possibly can. The management is incredible and you can tell because you see the same faces year over the year. Highly recommend it.
Hands down THE best brunch I've ever had. The brisket poached eggs- so amazing my picky 6 year old even went to town on them. The peach milkshake- brought all us girls to the yard- It presented as amazing as it tasted. This is for sure one of our new favorite eateries.
My daughter, who lives in Boston, is gluten intolerant. This is her favorite ATX restaurant; she can eat the fried chicken and fish tacos because they're dipped in rice flour. My husband and I enjoy this restaurant as well, but the parking can be a nightmare.
The people are so nice, but the service can be kind of slow if it's really busy.
Wrong food came for my friend, was told after an hour of waiting that they were out of my order. No apologies and no offer for compensated food or drink. Waitress was extremely rude and asked us why we were "in a rush" after waiting 25 minutes for our wine and an hour for food and then declined to order (and pay for) a replacement meal. Had to ask to speak to the manager which I have never done in a restaurant before. Explained the situation and he was gracious to comp the food but also had a strange, pretty rude response ("she's our nicest waitress and has been here so long and has never gotten any complaints"). Not sure if everything just went wrong this day but extremely dissatisfied in how it was handled by our waitress. Food was below average, especially disappointing with the long wait and empty tables surrounding us. Will never be back.
I had friends come down from Dallas and I wanted to take them someplace with interesting food. The Peached Tortilla did not disappoint. The four of us ordered 8 different dishes among us, and we shared them all. There wasn't a bad one in the bunch. None of us could pick a favorite, because they were all THAT good. The wine list is limited but perfectly adequate. The whiskey list is plentiful. We were so full at the end of the meal that we couldn't manage dessert, but I'm looking forward to going back there again soon. The staff is attentive and helpful. The noise level can get a little high when the place is full, but it didn't dampen our experience.
I love this place! The combination of different, exciting food with excellent service is compelling - I was in Europe craving the Pork Belly Buns. I have been here several times at different hours of the day and days of the week - I have never been here when I haven't been approached by chef or manager to ask about the experience and they always want to know the answer. More like this please.
Great restaurant, wonderful food and great service. The only issue I experienced was that I had to park my car across the street since there were no more slots left in the restaurant parking lot. Other than that, the experience was spectacular and we plan to return.
