The Patio at 54 Main
Very nice restaurant in Westhampton beach. Very convenient. Street parking. The 1 downside was a very loud table of eight right behind us so it was a little difficult to hear each other. But that's to be expected on a Sat. night. Otherwise it was a very nice night & the food is very good.
Disappointed. Cavatelli was disappointing. Broccoli rabe totaling overwhelmed the taste. The sweet sausage was long thin strips - never saw that presentation before. No taste or body.
Ricotta and spinach ravioli was watery. Didn’t drain it. Sauce was watery.
Wouldn’t go back again. The facility offers little as well as to atmosphere
Service and food were both very good. Portions could be a little bigger for the price, but overall delicious.
Highly recommend Patio. We had Filet and pasta, all which was delicious.
Excellent well prepared food with polite and kind service
Always good. Consistent and service with a smile.
Complimentary creme brûlée’s for dessert Prompt courteous service great food Haven’t gone therein a long time Won’t wait so long to go back
One of my favorite Westhampton Beach Restaurants. Always good food, friendly service. More quiet than most fine restaurants, and you are not stuffed in like sardines in a can, Always a great experience.
Great spot! Food is excellent.
We love coming to The Patio year round, and was happy to see they were so crowded on a Saturday in mid-April. We started out with cocktails which were delicious; the endive salad was fresh and satisfying. The seared tuna special was ordered by 2 people at my table. I ordered black and blue, he ordered medium rare. Each came out perfectly! I would have never eaten mine if it came out medium rare, but the kitchen did an excellent job of cooking each order to perfection. Someone else had a steak, which the others at the table were swooning over. The last person ordered the scallop appetizer as an entree with a side of the white bean puree with brocoli rabe. We were all thrilled with our selections, and left room for dessert. We each ordered something different, and were inquiring about a 5th (no shame) but decided not to order it. The waiter dropped it off for us anyway, and it too was demolished as it was delicious. What I really have come to love about The Patio is there are really 2 (or 3) ways to dine: in the back in the proper section of the restaurant which can be dressed up or down; the front bar area for more casual nights, where you can watch a game while eating, and the 3rd way, which I have only ever done off season was eating at the bar, which on some nights, is just the ticket. If you have not been, you should go.
Food here is amazing as always. Comfortable atmosphere with great ambiance.
Thank you so much. We appreciate your kind words
The Patio is one of my favorite restaurants. Service is always friendly and knowledgeable. The daily specials are great!!
Wonderful! Food excellent!
Had a wonderful meal on a Thursday night in March, not crowded, but just right, food was wonderful, can't wait to get back!
Great neighborhood restaurant. The bar and restaurant servers are very welcoming and helpful. The food it delicious. Whether you’re looking to indulge or eat on the lighter side, they have something for everyone. Thankful to have this place near by.
One of our favorites! Consistently excellent food and extremely accommodating!
Our meal was spectacular!!
Food was great. The service was a little off. Especially for Valentine's Day. We were sat and then waited a bit before the waiter came over to ask us for our drink order. It wasn't very busy. Then they mentioned they would be by with bread. Which didn't come until our appetizers came out. Overall it was a nice night and good meal. We'll be giving it another shot in the future.
The service was incredible and the food was even better. Very nice place to take a significant other out for dinner.
Very rushed service.
we are extremely sorry this happened to you. its never our intention to rush anyone. we thank you for your review and we will address this with our staff. thank you again for bringing this to our attention
Very nice early dinner on New Years Eve. Convenient in town location. Do not like driving on NYE. Salads were delicious, porterhouse for 2 was outstanding. The only little complaint was that my drink, a cucumber gimlet was watered down with too much ice but wine was great. Will definitely go back!!
The entire staff is pleasant and very accommodating
Love this place ... amazing food . We come every New Year’s Eve . Love that is is NOT pre fix menu. Food beats NYC restaurants .
Excellent meal! Terrific service!
Amazing as always!!!
Loved the atmosphere and the food and service was excellent!
Our fourth time here and it never disappoints! Great food especially for the price!
First time here and will definitely be back. There were six of us, and most had the Price Fix. No one was disappointed. Very very good :)
Underwhelming. Food was decent, not great. Prices were a little steep for what you get. I think the place could use a bit of a face lift. The carpeting is really old and some tablecloths would help too. At a lower price point, all of this would be fine. But for the prices they charge, I expect a bit more.
The food was fabulous
Great meal and service. Always one of my go to spots for dinner
I have dined at the Patio twice. Regrettably, the interior noise level is very high--as if you were
dining in a trendy restaurant in lower Manhattan where noise is part of the ambience.
The food is rather mediocre and unimaginative. All the dishes I sampled were devoid of any
subtlety of taste. A fish entree was not particularly fresh, even as fresh fish is pretty accessible
on the eastern end of Long Island.
The restaurant is clearly popular with the locals and summer folk. It is one of those
experiences where there is a disconnect between crowd at the restaurant and your inability
to understand why they are there. (Admittedly, there are diners who do not mind when
ambient noise drowns out dinnertime conversation.)
I do not plan to return, but there would seem to be many other diners who will.
This is our second trip to The Patio
Their steaks are excellent, both the filet and shell steak
The service seems a little rushed at times. I had to keep telling the waitress we wanted to wait a little bit between courses.
Best time to enjoy the restaurant(s) in the Hamptons is now - off season. Service was relaxed, easy and pleasant. Food was well prepared and tasty. We weren’t rushed and lingered.
Lovely evening with all very happy with their choices. Wonderful service, fresh ingredients and perfect ambience. We will definitely return.
Food remains good. Variety on menu. Service felt a little pushy, as we were trying to have conversation. Speaking of conversation, very very loud when full and hard to hear.
I have been there before and dined again on 9/15/18. First, the place needs a coat of pain and new carpet. Second, there were three of us with very simple orders but two items were completely forgotten - a drink and a side. It struck me as odd that we didn't get an apology that the drink was forgotten but I at least thought the service would be more attentive after that. Instead the side was forgotten, and we were never asked if we wanted a second round of drinks. When we complained about the side we did get it and the waiter said "they will be out and we are not even going to charge you for them." The way he spoke it was if we were so very lucky but, personally, I would have preferred they arrived with the meal and that we paid for them. In closing, I was disappointed because the place and its service has gone down a few notches in the past year or so, at least in my view.
This was the first time we dined at The Patio in Westhampton Beach. Very nice location and the bar/dining area was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was well prepared. Portions were small compared to other dining facilities. The cost per meal was a little steep when compared to the serving size.
