We were coming from out of town and chose this restaurant based on its positive ratings on line. It came as a pleasant surprise to find that The Patio exceeded all of our expectations: great service, memorable dishes (half of our party chose the specials for that night), a robust wine selection. If you want a quiet conversation, get your table early: when every seat is filled, it can get pretty noisy as there is little wall treatment that is not reflective of sound. One of the best things about the service was how friendly everybody was and how attentive they were to our every need. We plan to come back!
A friend and I had dinner to celebrate a pre Christmas outing prior to a Theatre Performance. The wait-staff was aware of our need to be in and out in a timely manner. Four different workers
waited our table for various services and they all were above and beyond with smiles and attention to detail. Very impressive indeed. We'll be back soon, that's for sure.
Again another fantastic review. 5 stars. I had the peach salad with balsamic glaze,it was wonderful. Just a note to the restaurant,as an appetizer it doesn't have to be such a generous proportion. The fresh yellow fin tuna with Israel cous cous was beyond excellent. Do yourself a favor and go.
Had an almost great experience at this restaurant. Our food was fantastic and our waitress was on top of everything.
The only thing that made it bad for us is that we were subjected to a loudmouth at the table next to us. He was literally screaming into his cell phone for 15–20 minutes while speaking to "Sarah" who must've been either his wife or daughter. He was using foul language and like I said his tirade went on forever.
I give the restaurant a very high marks for tasty and innovative cuisine. I give the restaurant very high marks for the attentiveness and responsiveness of the waitstaff.
But this is not the type of restaurant I'm in a hurry to return to unless they change their cell phone policy or and empower their staff to tell loudmouth customers to please, for the sake of their other customers, shut off the cell phone or take the conversation outside!
We had a great dinner before going to the show right next door. Robert, out waiter was very knowledgeable and provided us with friendly service. He was a pleasure! We were lucky to be seated along side the huge window overlooking the garden. It was a very pleasant dining experience! We both ordered the halibut which was an excellent choice! We will eat there again soon!
When we arrived we were greeted very warmly by the two hostesses. We haven't been here for a couple of years but still treated like regulars.
We had a drink at the bar before sitting, and the bartender was friendly and made great drinks.
The girls didn't like the table and asked to have another table and they were very accommodating.
The waiter Robert and his helper were fantastic, best service we've had in a long time. Robert was especially helpful with the ordering make several recommendations. We were a party of six and we ordered an
assortment of starters meatballs, special pasta, and zucchini chip. Everything came out hot and delicious!
The entrees were also delicious especially the halibut a special for the evening. We will definitely be back many times before the summer is over.
I have been here several times - this time it was a Monday night and quite different from the weekend experience-
The food here is always good - but it was lovely and quiet on Monday night -- the problem was the service-- we had 3 different servers, none of whom seem to be in charge of the table - we had to ask for water, ask for bread, when the starters were cleared, our mains were delivered, but no silverware! Needed to glad someone down to get a refill on drinks -- just bad service-- I would still return )especially during the week - the noose level on weekends is pretty loud -- because overall the restaurant is pretty good --
Sorry folks I heard a lot of great things about this restaurant but... we had baked clams and lamb chops which were good but the grilled branzino was extremely dry and the lemon sauce that came on the side was cold and thick terrible complement to the fish. Broccoli Rob was stems only and extremely bitter unedible/cold, the brussels sprouts were hard and cold as well. Very expensive tab for a meal that was subpar we definitely will NOT return.Extremely LOUD!
The Patio was great. Food was really good and the service was outstanding. Our waitress V recommended the corn ravioli as an appetizer with the advice that "I know it sounds weird but it is really good ". She was more than right. The rack of lamb chops were cooked to perfection and steak was good as well. We will go again.
