The Pass is a 5-star, 3AA rosette award-winning restaurant. It is elegantly designed in intricate and artsy deco which has a regal and glitzy feel about it. The Pass has also a well-stocked in-house cellar having the finest wines. The vegan ingredients used in the food come directly from The Pass�s very own kitchen garden. The restaurant has a unique and special menu which has been personally designed by acclaimed chef Ian Swainson who personally scrutinizes each entr�e to ensure quality. The menu is primarily classified into 6 and 8-course lunch menus, 8 and 10-course dinner menus and also an 8-course special vegan dinner menu. All menus are regularly revised as per the chef's recommendations to ensure only fresh and seasonal ingredients are used and the highest quality of taste and flavors is served at the table.

We had the larger pre fixe menu. Everything was great. Best cooked octopus I ever had, venison and scallops were very nice also. Best part it is a BYOB. Looking forward to going back again.

I hesitate to state my true feelings about The Pass for fear that I will never be able to get another reservation there, but suffice it to say that this restaurant is an unbelievable find for anyone who loves food. The food is incredibly sophisticated, wonderfully conceived and perfectly executed. Anyone who is a foodie should not miss this place.

A small restaurant in the middle of nowhere...price fixe menu only, apparently rotates every couple of weeks...Wife and I were here on a busy Saturday night, and the service and food were very good. We went for the six course price fixe, and each course was tasty and well presented...especially the open face octopus sandwich and venison...Outstanding! Honestly, you come here for the food and service, since there is absolutely nothing else in the area...

A long time fan of this gem, we were disappointed with the move to a menu with fewer options. Many weeks, we found ourselves going elsewhere when the two main dish offerings just did not appeal. However, we understood and kept looking for a menu that offered items we would enjoy, Recently, the menu did appeal and we returned. And, we were delighted that we did. DInner was outstanding. The tastes were sublime, the presentation was lovely and the service as attentive as ever, Plus, the quick ten-minute drive from our home in the country was a pleasure. Thank you!

This is a gem of a restaurant, set in scenic Rosemont which is minutes away from Lambertville NJ and New Hope PA. Inside you will find a country store like atmosphere with colorful shelves, pottery and spacious wooden tables. The food is served (oh so quietly) on large wooden trays with the large white plates set upon hockey pucks for better placement. Steve, our waiter, was charming and funny, while all the while serving us quickly and efficiently. Yet we lingered over our meal and were never rushed. It is, however, the food that will keep you coming back. The menu changes every two weeks, and there are limited options so if you are picky, check the menu before you come. We had the four course dinner which had two options per course, and so we shared in order to taste everything on the menu. I'm glad we did. Everything was delicious and well presented. The deserts were especially inventive - we had an apple cider concoction paired with chocolate that was amazing. If you care about good food and value creative cooking this is the place for you. Having Steve wait on you is the icing on an already delicious cake.

The Pass serves exceptionally delicious food, the kind that you wouldn't find anywhere else. The chef takes enormous trouble to come up with original dishes that makes you want to know what is in them with the end result that they are so especially tasty. The ambiance is a little funky which has always been part of the charm of this restaurant. It is good that it has not had a glitzy makeover. My friend was very relieved when she saw that the general atmosphere under former management had been preserved.

The menu is fixed price and includes very creative and well prepared dishes. Service is very friendly and the ambiance is casual. It's only a few miles from Lambertville, but you may need your GPS if you are going here at night for the first time. It's a great find. BYOB. We'll be back!

A super dinner with talented chef Matt Ridgeway! The menu, which changes every two weeks, is set, two choices per course, and each dish is executed with creativity and flair as well as attention to the freshest local ingredients and inventive use of herbs and spices. Amazing breads! "Pork powder," pork belly, rillettes, etc., many dishes provide a nod to his love for the pig and evidence of his background with charcuterie products. Check out the well-made video on The Pass's website. Service is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and well paced. "Grandma's cozy kitchen" decor with open shelves, homey atmosphere, and personal notes.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining The Pass Saturday night and fell in love with it. Fantastic! The food is intelligent, rich and beautifully composed. We'll be back as often as a babysitter is available.

I would consider the food at The Pass gourmet excellence, obvious talent went in to every dish. Ingredients used, I have never liked in the past, but found very delicious when prepared by the chef.
