Not only can you get a juicy roast prime rib at The Parson"s Table, but you can eat it inside a church, too. The location remains very much the same structure that it was in 1885, when Little River Methodist Church was built. The cherished establishment first opened its church doors as a restaurant in the late 1970's and has been serving exquisite American steakhouse fare ever since. The restaurant's decor is positively Southern-charm antique, complete with dark wooden walls, stained glass windows and an original Tiffany glass lamp in the main dining room. An award winning wine list graces The Parson's Table as well as an outstanding fresh seafood selection.

Nice dinner for 3 with my son and daughter in law. Service was excellent (Julia), and food was very good. Felt prices were fair for fine dining. Extensive wine list, and several specials in addition to the regular menu. Would recommend a visit to the Parson’s Table.

Great atmosphere, food and wine list for our out of town guest from California. He is a wine snob and foodie and he wants to come back

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious meal. We ordered a fantastic bottle of wine from their list, Prince Edward Island mussels as an appetizer, and our entree. The Crab Cakes were high quality and filled with crabmeat, and the Swordfish special for the evening melted in your mouth. Dinners come with a wonderful assortment of bread as you await your food, a salad tossed by your server with a wonderful house dressing, and the chef’s prepared vegetable for the day and your choice of a starch with your entree. We selected the garlic and leeks mashed potatoes, which were delicious as well. Our server Kim was attentive and paced the service of each course perfectly for us.
I highly recommend Parson’s Table and will look forward to dining there in the near future.

Our waitress was great unfortunately do not remember her name. We were a large group table of 12. She kept us all straight with separate bills. She was very patient & efficient. Food was excellent & a unique setting with loads of ambience. Many of our group were initial visitors & all were very impressed.

The appetizers were to die for. We had mussels in Pernod sauce and a crab cake that were both delicious. There were four of us and each entree we chose was great.

The Parson’s Table never disappoints. It is our favorite restaurant in the Little River area. The food is always prepared fresh and the menu has something for everyone. As a frequent diner at the Parson’s Table, we highly recommend it for a consistently excellent fine dining experience.

We visit the Parsons table four or five times a year. The food is always good and the service is excellent. This was the first time we ordered from the early bird menu and both meals were good at a very good price level. On past occasions we always ordered the specials and they were always very good.

A beautiful restaurant with outstanding food served by an excellent staff. We were extremely impressed from the moment we walked into this historic location. The menu was complete with a variety of options. Each meal was presented to satisfy the eye as well as the palate. Our evening was made even more memorable with our visit to The Parson's Table.

we were there this past Friday @ 4:30 PM and I ordered the pesto pasta I had many times before. I was feeling full and took the majority of the dish home only eating the mussels. When eating the dish the next day there was a noticeably absent pesto sauce only olive oil. I did not notice this at the restaurant. The dish was still good but would have been better

Service was very slow. Have dined there numerous times alone and with family and always felt it was top of the list in dining, but tonight it seemed as if there had been a change in management or in the food preparation. We made reservations but still had to wait 10-15 minutes even though there were numerous empty tables. Our waitress did not seem to be very customer oriented, not very proactive to our needs. A little disappointed but will return in the future. Maybe was just an off night.

As always, the food was exquisite and the service was excellent. My only complaint was that the table was in a small alcove, down a ramp, and immediately on the right. The lighting was so poor that my daughter and I bot had great difficulty trying to read the menu. It felt like The Parson's Table equivalent of the "naughty corner".

We went on Easter Sunday and wee sooo happy we had chosen this restaurant. Usually a restaurant has a limited menu on a holiday and they usually run out of specials. that was not so with the parsons Table. They served their usual menu plus specials. Everything was delicious. We were extremely pleased we chose this restaurant for a holiday meal!!

There are so many options on the menu so everyone can find something they would enjoy. The PEI Mussels appetizer is the best I have ever had, large & sweet plus the sauce is great for dipping their variety of bread! I love the lamb chops and the seafood dishes! They were able to accommodate my request to change the fish of the day swordfish preparation from black peppercorn encrusted to another topping! Food portions are generous so rarely get to try dessert but I'm sure they are delicious!

We have enjoyed the Parson's table during our Easter and Thanksgiving visits to the beach for many years. The food has always been the finest. And the service is usually 5 Star. However we noticed some differences this year during our Easter trip. The first thing we noticed was that there was no Relish plate that has been served in the past. The cheese and crackers were still served and enjoyed very much. The big change appeared to be the service, our server seemed to be extremely busy and was not as timely as we are used to here at the Parson's table. Not sure of the reason. In spite of this glitch we made our reservations for Thanksgiving and are hoping everything is back up to their standards.

I had the ribeye and my wife had the prime rib.
Both meals were very good. Comes with a salad, potatoes and veggies. Very reasonable price. Large selection of wines as well. Service was great.
We're snowbirds from Canada and make sure we go to the Parson's Table every year.

The food preparation and especially the sauces were well crafted as was the wine recommendation. Of course, the ambiance in a very old church with 100+ year old stained glass artwork is worth the experience.

Food was acceptable, but nothing noteworthy; I had the New York strip. The salad has a little to much dressing for my liking; comes prepared to your table. The room that I was in was dark, and could’ve used some brighter over head lighting or a brighter table candle. Our server was nice and accommodating. Overall experience was ok, but I probably won’t return.
