The Parsons Table was recommended to us by friends. We can’t wait to return the favor by treating them to dinner.
From the time we arrived until we left everything was top drawer and incredible! The ambiance, service and food were exquisite! Would highly recommend this restaurant as everything was a 5 Star plus!
The food is always excellent and the service is outstanding. Their homemade raspberry vinaigrette dressing and homemade bread basket are my favorites.
We love Parson's Table. It is one of our favorite restaurants in the Myrtle beach area. We came here for our anniversary. They were very accommodating and seated us in a quiet area. We ordered the baked brie appetizer which was delicious. I had ordered a filet and my spouse ordered a rib eye. My steak was a tad overdone. My husbands steak was at least 1/3 fat. The baked tomato was an uninteresting side with the meal. We had ordered a side of asparagus and we were so glad we did. The port wine sauce that was served with the steaks, however was excellent. For our anniversary they served us with a delicious complimentary brownie pie. Overall an enjoyable evening dinner.
Excellent food for the price. Friendly and professional.
We had a terrific anniversary dinner here. As usual the service was great and the food fantastic. We had the she crab soup as an appetizer. We'd never tried it on earlier visits. Some of the best we've ever tasted. Our entrees - 1/2 rack lamb and shrimps and scallops were very tasty and served nice and hot. Desserts of creme brulee and New York cheesecake were delicious. We each had a glass of wine. The Clos du Bois merlot was very good, the Sterling sauvignon blanc too sweet - I wouldnt choose it again!
Overall a terrific dinner - can't wait to return!
The food was amazing and worth visiting the restaurant for that reason alone. However, I have to say that our server, Jeremy, went over and above and provided a very polished restaurant experience. There were 5 of us dining, we each had different choices for entree, and he took the initiative to talk to the chef to identify the best wine pairing so we could split the bottle among us. We will definitely be back.
Kim are server was excellent. Food was delicious! Will definitely come back again and recommend to others!
Fabulous meal, great service. The reviews were good, and it did not disappoint. Not cheap, but worth the price if you want delicious food, and something more healthful than fried seafood or southern cooking.
Another great evening at the Parson’s Table in Little River S.C.
This time it was a birthday celebration for our son-in-law and everything was wonderful.
The food, service and atmosphere was perfect for a great evening with the family. We are looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks for our 35th Wedding Anniversary.
Thanks to all the staff for a great evening.
I've been here several times and for the early bird it is a very good deal
We had a fabulous time. We were able to chat without yelling. The food and the ambiance was amazing. We will definitely be back!!!
Our server was knowledgeable, efficient and had a good sense of humor. The food was good, with exception of the vegetables that were over cooked. Ambiance was great, we were at table 71,which is like a private little room....so we could converse easily. Three of us had the catch of the day and the fourth had a seafood pesto .....portions ranged from huge to adequate. Would probably visit again ona special occasion.
We come down to this area every year and always make it a point to come to parsons on our own or ask friends to come along. It is always a great place to enjoy good food and socialize.
The Parson's Table exceeded our expectations in every way. The venue is unique, antique and well maintained. Very nice dining rooms with charm and coziness. The waitress, Brinn, was excellent from suggestions to special requests. The food was wonderful. Scallops with a soy/ginger glaze was unusual and delicious. Steak and sides were all good. House wine (cabernet) was excellent.
Great food in a unique setting. We were visited by the owner/chef at the end of the meal.
Food and service was outstanding. All staff was very friendly. Awesome cocktails and generous pours of wine. All around great fine dining experience!
Great food! We had weiner schnitzel and braised duck breast and she crab soup. The taste and quality of the enters were wonderful. We highly recommend it. A Little Pricey but the amount of good you get along with a salad, crackers with cheese spread and bread makes up for the cost. They also have a great early bird special menu.
This is a great restaurant. Food was excellent, service great and prices very fair.Had the pecan chocolate chip pie for desert and it was awsome.
Awesome meals as usual
Our first time dining there. We were seated at 5 in the small room on the left. Not cozy. Our food was cool. Ordered the early bird ribeye and was too fatty. Other sides were cool too. Was a let down for what we expected.
This is the best restaurant we have been to since moving to North Carolina! The food is not your typical Calabash Style. It's not fried or heavy food. The menu has a wide variety of interesting dishes. My go-to food at a new restaurant is shrimp and grits and this was the best shrimp and grits I have ever had! It was also a bonus to get a crackers with cream cheese appetizer, family style salad, corn bread & rolls. It was my mom's birthday and they brought her a fabulous dessert as well. The service was amazing and the old church has a lot of ambience. Next time I want to start with drinks in the bar in the vestibule before being seated since that is such a cute area. The stained glass windows are beautiful and it was all around an amazing experience.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service in an amazing building, a former church with beautiful stain glass windows. A Gormet meal at reasonable prices.
Outstanding as always! We make it a point to stop for dinner when we are visiting the area. We brought two friends along and they said it's their new favorite spot! Such a treat!
Parson’s Table was delightful. Favorite wine available and the food was simply outstanding. Service was excellently as well. We’ll be back.
Server was special. She never came into the room without making eye contact (when they do not it drives me nuts). The food is just a little more special compared with the other upscale restaurants. We are in the area a couple of weeks each year and would never considering not going to the Parson's Table.
When family members visit from NJ we try to take them to restaurants unlike those "at home". This is a very different atmosphere and the food and service excellent. All five of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Our waiter was great! Readily available, but not obtrusive, friendly, knew the menu items and basically very enjoyable experience.
Enjoyed celebrating my birthday at the Parson’s Table. The food and service was great!
Excellent food. My husband's fish was spectacular. My prime rib , great. Our relatives' fish dishes also great. I usually order the lamb, but was glad to try this .
Delicious and great service, it’s a favorite of ours.
Don't miss this gem.it,s worth the drive.great food, great service.just. Go.
Very good - my wife received a dessert for her birthday. All good
Restaurant was recommended by an acquaintance for our visit to Myrtle Beach on vacation. After checking the website we reserved our time and found the building to be just as interesting as we were told. Staff were very pleasant and we were seated in a small alcove near the main dining room. Noise level was not high as rooms were not too big and carpet runners help absorb sound. Decor is a bit eclectic but there are beautiful stained glass panels around the rooms.
Service was attentive and consistent, not hurried but not slow either.
We ordered wine from a nice and fairly diverse selection.
Complimentary crackers and cheese are served with your drink, followed by a somewhat overdressed salad with rolls and very good cornbread. Oyster and shrimp starters were fresh and prepared perfectly.
Entrees were nicely presented, a monkfish special and duck, both with excellent sauces and cooked perfectly. The tower of seasonal vegetables with pesto was a nice touch.
Desserts were a very light Tiramisu, as it should be, and apple pie with a creamy vanilla sauce. Espresso and capachino finished the meal. The chef stopped by to check on our meal, and we complimented him sincerely. It was a not inexpensive meal, but good value and nice dining experience.
We were looking for an upscale nice romantic dinner. I took the chance and booked a table, and am so glad I did. Very nice atmosphere with it being an old church. All of the staff was very nice and helpful. The food and service was 100% great. Will definitely return again.
The Parsons Table is our go to restaurant for special times. The interior, with it's stained glass windows and rich wood, offers a comfortable setting without being formal. The wait staff is always pleasant and helpful and the meal is complete making it a true value for the price.
Food was very good. Prime rib was cooked as requested. Fish platter was very tasty. Only negative was they had a "fresh homemade strawberry shortcake". It had what was supposed to be a caramelized topping on the shortcake, but it was clearly burned and over cooked. Other than that it was a great meal.
The food was worth the wait. I would like to go back. The only disappointment was I had reservations for over a week and the table we were seated at was not one of the better ones. When I saw the table I asked for the one beside it but the waitress said it was already reserved. I don’t think our table selection was handled correctly... with the next reservations I’ll be more specific... maybe I’m wrong... maybe folks do reserve more in advance.
This was a great place to celebrate a “significant “ birthday, the one that has a 5 or a 0 in it. The early bird portions were just fine! One caution- don’t fill up on the cheese and crackers, there is more great food coming.
Never fails to deliver. Great food and atmosphere. Service was perfect.
One of the best ever. Looking forward to going aga in.
