The Parlour Italian Kitchen & Bar
much time as you want to sit back, relax, and savour a great meal with
your favourite people. This is what The Parlour is all about.
From our stone encased 900° wood burning oven, to our unwavering standards in obtaining the best ingredients (including 00 flour from Italy), the worlds best tomatoes, cheeses & local meats, you're sure to find we have the best pizza in Edmonton!
Food took way to long to come, Entrée took more than 45 mins after we finished the Appetizer. Not enough servers working and very slow services.
The service was quite slow, our server talked up the bartender's whiskey sour and i was actually quite disappointed in what i received. The pizza itself was really good, but the starters left much to be desrired.
The food was very bland and ordered 2 apple pie pizzas which tasted awful, the waiter tasted it and thinks it was the caramel sauce that was burnt. Duelling pianos were neat but we were sitting under a speaker and couldn’t hear each other talk.
Great table location.
Their weekly specials are amazing. Service was top notch. Nothing to complain about. 😊
Our Saturday evening at The Parlour Italian Kitchen was amazing. Our group of 12 - 14 get together 2 times a year and I was able to make reservations on Open Table. As a bonus we were able to get the Private room so we could visit, chat and enjoy the evening. Our server Cameron was so much fun. He was very friendly and professional and the evening flowed so nicely. They didn't push us through and we had all the time we wanted. Everyone in our group enjoyed the evening tremendously and were amazed that we had found this restaurant and all said they would keep this at the top of the list for future meetings and get with family and work functions . The cocktails, wine, appetizers, entrees and liquors and coffees were spectacular. The tequilla cocktail was a surprise and took a picture of the ingredients and want to try to make it - OR probably just better to go back and order it again. No one ordered dessert as we were full from everything prior. I had the Mussels, as a shared appetizer and ordered the Lamb Osso Buco. It was hearty and so delicious and I brought more than half of it home and had it for dinner a couple of days later. I would absolutely go back Soon, and want to try some of the dishes that my colleagues had that I tasted that were amazing. Thank you Cameron, Chef, Staff and The Parlour Italian Kitchen. We will be back, and we are already talking about planning to come back and sit on the patio and enjoy the food, drinks, ambiance of the fireplace and outdoors when it warms up. Awesome evening. Thank you again !
Carol S. and family and friends
Some of the portions were a little small. However the small antipasto board was great.
The service was excellent. The fellow greeted us at the door and was very friendly. The food was okay - but nothing exciting.
Wonderful experience! Fantastic service, good selection on menu, food delicious. Free parking in the back is really nice, ambiance was energetic & comfortable.
Top notch food as well as service. Great menu and atmosphere.
A definite rebook !!
Great experience as always. Our waitress was amazing and the food was great. We ordered the family feast for two and couldn't believe the portion sizes!
Second time I've been here. Last time was a bit later in the evening, and the bar and restaurant was full - this time was not busy for a Friday night. We came before a game and had the happy hour prices for drinks and pizza. While a good value, I liked the family style dishes better from our previous visit. Would order pizza again, but only as an appetizer or shared meal. Service was quite good with the waitress coming around frequently.
Great experience! We come for $10 pizzas after 7pm on Thursdays which is such a good value
Not a super exciting menu and not my first choice for a restaurant but it's good.
Have been wanting to try this place for about a year. We came for dinner today. Had the risotto balls, calamari, and New Yorker pizza. What a total disappointment. Bland, low quality ingredients, I’d expect similar at the Denny’s next door.
BUT. The place is beautiful. Service was good. The host was warm and welcoming. But we came for the food. And won’t be back.
Pizza was soggy, overuse of truffle oil on everything, lasagne was tasteless for having so many layers, cauliflower appetizer was ok, arancini was the only item that was good
Great food, great service
I always enjoy the ambiance. Food is always good but our server kept asking us for our order every five minutes or so even when we were all still clearly looking and deciding. Then when we finally ordered, our food took over 50 minutes to come! That's never happened before and we had people over from TO and it just wasn't a good impression at all. I took them there because I like going to The Parlour but that night was pretty disappointing.
I enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant; however, the service is subpar. Our table felt as if we were an inconvenience to our server. This was supposed to be a special night for our table, and it wasn't because of how we were treated by multiple staff members.
It was my first time and I loved it. We will be coming again!! I am actually bringing my office staff for your next dueling piano night. Thanks again for being amazing.
Spaghetti with meatballs I had was very starchy and very bland tasting. Not very good. The rest of the food we ordered was very good. Really enjoyed the breaded cauliflower. Waiter was pleasant and friendly. Décor and location is excellent. Would go again.
Great location and layout, however the food was just mediocre. Drinks were good, but expensive. The ambience in here is nice, however overall not satisfied with the quality of the meal. I had a chicken Caesar salad, for nearly $20 it was bland and didn't appear or taste to have dressing on it. Very little chicken given for the extra charge. Husband had a pizza, again just mediocre. For $120 bill for a couple drinks and snacks it just wasn't worth it.
A lovely time dining with you. We look forward to many more visits.
This is the third time we have been and unfortunately we did not enjoy it this time. Very pricey for a small plate. Service was not the best either.
Nice low lighting, cozy vibe. Staff was a bit lacking in experience and knowledge but made up for it was kind demeanor and generosity. Food was good but not anything special. Probably wouldn't go again but it was a nice time.
Yummy food and drinks , as usual! Cute date night spot
Arrived around 7:30pm, restaurant was about half full. Took about 20 minutes to get our first round of drinks. Ordered two appetizers and a drink they were out of. Just after ordering our mains, the parking lot flooded so we had to take our mains to go. Got home to realize we were given extremely small boxes of pasta. Although the parking lot flood was out of everyone's control, the to-go portions were very disappointing for a bill that was well over $200 for the three of us - especially after being forced out due to flooding.
Great food and atmosphere. Tables upstairs were a little close to each other. Music was a touch loud. Jennifer was a wonderful server!
The Parlour was busy on Valentines Day. They had a lovely special small plates menu, and we enjoyed the phyllo covered Brie with bourbon cherries. Yummy. The rest of the meal was tasty. Service was fine. It is a lively and trendy atmosphere, so best to avoid if you want a quiet dinner. Some nice specials through the week, so check out their site.
Loved their braised short rib ravioli with truffle oil. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is warm. Can't wait to go back. I have and will recommend this restaurant.
Food Was Great! I Love the Space! Keegan was exceptional ! We will be Back !
One of the best places to eat down town. Absolutely love the 24 layer lasagna and the mushroom ravioli is to die for.
I think this was probably just a one off for Parlour but the garlic bread was only okay this time, a little dry. Also my friend got a veggie pizza and she said the middle of the crust was very soggy from the veggies. Looking at the bottom of the pizza it looked like it should have been cooked longer but we were on a time schedule. I’ll definitely go back.
Though the food was very good, the service was very slow. We seem to have a different person delivering each part of our meal. also when our dessert came ,it was suppose to be Tirmasu but we got a choc brownie which we thought had actually belonged to someone else as no one told us that they where out of Tirmasu. I also ordered a cup of coffee which I never got but was on our bill. Also my family found it extremely cold at the table we were at. Over all the food was very good but it was a slow and cold experience.
Have not been here is a while and it was as good as we remembered! Food was excellent and service was as well. Great place to eat before a concert.
Great $10 pizza night
Over the past several years I have always enjoy "down" time at lunch at the Parlour. Was very disappointed to hear they are no longer open for lunch. Quite a shame.
It was a game night, so parking was full and paid parking was a whooping $15 per car...
Going in didn't improve the night, as they didn't have a table for us "because the previous group would not leave" (their words, not mine). Waited at the bar for 30 minutes, but at least we got a complimentary drink (Yay...)
I don't care how busy you are, if you offer reservations YOU HAVE TO HONOUR THEM! If you can't handle the table rotation properly, don't do reservations. Period. (Should have checked the reviews more carefully, as this seems to be a common practice at this place).
The "table" they got us was a U-shaped booth that would have handled seating our group of 6, but only if two people didn't have legs... which was not the case. Made for a very "cosy" evening!
Food was mediocre at best, which I didn't expect for the cost of each entree. Not bad but nothing to write home about (or tell our friends...)
Our server was great, but his charisma was still not enough to salvage the night. All in all a pretty bad experience and we won't be back or recommend it.
I had the brick chicken, it was good except I had 4 baked potatoes underneath it. Some type of purée would have been better. My dad had the short rib, the waitress didn’t know what seasonal vegetables came with it. He also had way too many baked potatoes underneath. I will definitely come back to The Parlour but I doubt I will have the chicken again.
