Great ambiance and delicious food
I've been to The Park many times, both for dinner and for their club. This place is great for anyone looking to dance and have a great night out with friends. It can get a little crowded at times but what place in the Meatpacking District doesn't?
One of my favorite spots for years! I love anytime I'm in this neighborhood, so I can use it as an excuse to go here. Great atmosphere, and a real gem!
I paid 60€ = 70$ for 2 cocktails, one burger and one pizza.
As european it's too expensive for the prestation.
The space is great. Relaxed, airy, open, comfortable.
Service was attentive and fast.
Food---beef burger was great. I had the "salmon" burger. It was awful. The patty was not salmon (the patty was white). Maybe there was Salmon in there somewhere---but must have been mostly other fish or filler mixed in--taste was not good at all.
Service slow but food good(not great). Dined with them last year and it was much better then.
I was married at The Park 4 years ago and we go to dinner every year on our Anniversary. I emailed more than once and never received a reply about having a surprise for my husband,I wanted them to slice the pie we had at our wedding and bring it after our meal. I finally spoke to someone on the phone (I had to call them, twice) and they told me I would be charged to slice (per slice) for the surprise dessert I was planning to bring.
The night of our reservation I ordered a special that was written on the menus as "polenta and shrimp" when the meal came out I took a bite and there was actually some sort of meat in the dish. I questioned this and they said there is pork belly, this was not written on the menu nor was it mentioned by the server. I don't eat pork. I picked a different dish and that was prepared.
At this point the manager came over to talk to us and I explained our dissatisfaction (mentioned the pie and the pork), he was apologetic and they did comp us our bottle of wine.
I will say when we were told about the wine being complimentary it was done in a very self congratulatory manner. A new server(the initial server disappeared) brought the check over and said "Our manager is comp-ing your wine because it's your anniversary" ??? Okay, not really the right phrasing, how about we are so sorry that you ingested a piece of pork and that our service was poor and that we wanted to charge you for slicing a pie after not responding to your multiple emails?
The restaurant is amazing! Great food, great service, great ambiance!
Food was really bland. Poor quality for the price. Wait staff were pretty attentive and hostess checked in on people nicely. Would have been nice for them to take the dirty plates.
Everyone who worked there was very nice, all smiles and great attitudes. The menu could be have more of a selection. The food was pretty good I had the rigatoni and braised spare rib. The restaurant itself is beautiful. There are two club like lounges. The upstairs one, had a DJ that needed some help. The main floor DJ was better. Overall I had a good experience.
My Fiance and I were out on Date Night. The minute we walked in, we were greeted very nicely. We definitely felt welcomed. We made reservations and were seated right away. The over all experience of the "Garden" area was amazing. We were very pleased with the over all experience. We will definitely be returning. :)
I took some out of town guests here and from the moment we walked in they were thrilled with the atmosphere and the service. We all had the Kobe beef cheeseburger and were delighted with our choice.
Here's the thing. This place is really good. The food is really good. The wine is really good. The servers are really good. And the ambiance is beautiful. What's not really good? The hostesses. I've been here three times, and every time, there's a problem with the hostesses. They're always cranky and mean when you walk in and when you leave. Not a great first and last impression to what is a great place otherwise.
The ambiance is amazing, the food is mediocre.
They were out of craft beer and some of the entrees as well. We waited for almost an hour for our drinks and when we asked the server she said that she was giving the bartender some time because the bar was filled but that the drinks were probably ready, she just hadn't checked on it for quite a while, the starters arrived almost an hour after we ordered as well and the some of the entrees were cold (probably had been ready and waiting for the server to pick it up for a while).
Food was great, but it was a patience exercise!
Fantastic experience as always!
Amazing decor, great food, drink, staff was amazing. Love this place.
We had an 8:30 reservation and were not seated until 9:30pm - after which the drinks and food took over two hours to be prepared and there was little recognition of our frustration
The location and food was lovely, beautiful fairy lights and ambiance in the atrium. However, we were very disappointed by the service. Rushed, rude and forgetful.
Holiday lunch with my work team. Everything was great!
Mediocre food, poor service in a nice setting with great ambience.
The dj that night was bad.
Food could be better but ambiance and price beat it.
The two hosts were super friendly. We did have to wait a while to get our food and drinks but our server was very nice and apologetic! The food and drinks were amazing! Would definitely come back!
Great location, good decent American fare. Great Sangrias
Seated at 9:00 with 8:30 reservation. Didn’t get any kind of service for about 45 more minutes. Soup de Jour tasted like a can of a Campbell’s. Salad too heavy with vinegar. Food has no flavor. Lattes tasted like those out of a push button vending machine. It really was this bad.
Literally the worst service I have ever experienced in the 14 years I've lived in NYC. We didn't even get our drinks until AN HOUR after our reservation time, and it was downhill from there. It's a shame, because it's a nice space and a fun atmosphere.
I had a great time here. The food was great, the service was great and the ambience was excellent.
Awful service but beautiful ambience and good food.
Very disappointed; didn't expect to be ignored by our server once she took our order - first and last time at The Park...
This is a beautiful venue (we sat in the garden area). It’s just really nice 😃
Lunch with family. Good selection of sandwiches, salads, brunch options. Great service. Food was very good. We’ll be back
We booked a reservation for 4:00 PM through Open table. It was the only reservation that we could get. Got there around 3:45 PM and did not get seated until 4:45 PM as they were transitioning from lunch to dinner but neglected to tell us that as we would not have waited that long knowing this information in advacne. Finally got seated in the garden which is a beautiful spot and honestly was the only saving grace of this visit. It was raining outside so we were getting dripped on the whole time we were there. Our waiter was no where to be found most of the time even though the restaurant was not busy. Although the manger that was working the floor was very helpful and even got us our check since our waiter was missing. The food was okay but nothing special especially for the prices. Overall I would save my money and go somewhere else as there are so many better restaurants in NYC for dinner. I would recommend stopping in and having a cocktail in the back of the garden as it is a beautiful space.
Food is certainly not the reason why you would visit the Park. The venue itself is great, I️t feels like you are sitting in a garden. Would recommend for a drink with friends.
The linguine with shellfish was amazing. The sauce made it amazing!
The salmon buger looks good but couldn't really taste the salmon because the slaw overpowered it! The ambience was amazing and definitely would come back to explore more of the big plates!
I had a lovely birthday here. The ambiance in the garden was perfect, service spot on. I’ll be back to explore the other rooms for sure.
We had eaten here before and enjoyed the ambiance and the food. That was at night. Evidently, the birds from the garden are more active during the day and several flew into the main dining room, too near to our table for comfort. One landed on my husband's bread and fluttered its wings for quite a spell.
I've been coming to the park for years but the food was terrible on this occation. I ordered the rigatoni with braised spare ribs. The pasta was undercooked, the meat was dry and tough, and the dish was salty, almost as if they accidentally double salted the dish.
The service was terrible- from the hostess stand to the wait times for food. Hostesses were forcing people with reservations to wait when the dining room was almost empty. They were beyond Rude and showed no concern when multiple people left bc it took so long for a table. Waited over 45 minutes for food after all that. Ambiance is beautiful but in no way makes up for the service.
My boyfriend and i went four our anniversary and while the food was good and the ambiance was very romantic, we were seated next to a very rowdy group of 30+ people in the "outdoor" green space area and could hardly hear. Our waitress took our drink orders and then did not show back up at our table until we were finished for dinner when we asked for our check. we had to ask our back waiter for everything we wanted to order because she was so un-attentive.
Food wasn’t great. You’re paying for the ambience.
