About The Park
The Park stands out from the rest. This hip spot in the heart of the Meatpacking District is bound to impress even the most jaded of the New York elite. Each room evokes a different theme--from the rainforest-style dining room to the Red Room infused with Asian aesthetic. The dining room encircles an immense cluster of bamboo, with other tropical plants stand strategically placed. The organic nature of the setting is complimented splendidly by the healthy, adventurous dishes of new American cuisine on the menu. A glass enclosed Atrium offers a secluded and chic spot for any private event or party. The penthouse leads to a rooftop patio which is suited for social gatherings. In addition, a heated outdoor garden with Japanese maple trees gives diners the chance to enjoy the Park's distinct cuisine outside any time of year. Come to the Park and escape from the norm.

The Park Ratings and Reviews
Seated at 9:00 with 8:30 reservation. Didn’t get any kind of service for about 45 more minutes. Soup de Jour tasted like a can of a Campbell’s. Salad too heavy with vinegar. Food has no flavor. Lattes tasted like those out of a push button vending machine. It really was this bad.
We booked a reservation for 4:00 PM through Open table. It was the only reservation that we could get. Got there around 3:45 PM and did not get seated until 4:45 PM as they were transitioning from lunch to dinner but neglected to tell us that as we would not have waited that long knowing this information in advacne. Finally got seated in the garden which is a beautiful spot and honestly was the only saving grace of this visit. It was raining outside so we were getting dripped on the whole time we were there. Our waiter was no where to be found most of the time even though the restaurant was not busy. Although the manger that was working the floor was very helpful and even got us our check since our waiter was missing. The food was okay but nothing special especially for the prices. Overall I would save my money and go somewhere else as there are so many better restaurants in NYC for dinner. I would recommend stopping in and having a cocktail in the back of the garden as it is a beautiful space.
We had eaten here before and enjoyed the ambiance and the food. That was at night. Evidently, the birds from the garden are more active during the day and several flew into the main dining room, too near to our table for comfort. One landed on my husband's bread and fluttered its wings for quite a spell.
I've been coming to the park for years but the food was terrible on this occation. I ordered the rigatoni with braised spare ribs. The pasta was undercooked, the meat was dry and tough, and the dish was salty, almost as if they accidentally double salted the dish.
The service was terrible- from the hostess stand to the wait times for food. Hostesses were forcing people with reservations to wait when the dining room was almost empty. They were beyond Rude and showed no concern when multiple people left bc it took so long for a table. Waited over 45 minutes for food after all that. Ambiance is beautiful but in no way makes up for the service.
My boyfriend and i went four our anniversary and while the food was good and the ambiance was very romantic, we were seated next to a very rowdy group of 30+ people in the "outdoor" green space area and could hardly hear. Our waitress took our drink orders and then did not show back up at our table until we were finished for dinner when we asked for our check. we had to ask our back waiter for everything we wanted to order because she was so un-attentive.
Every time I️ go here, the food takes way longer than it should. People who were seating 20 minutes after us get their food first - consistently. And every time, at least one meal either comes out wrong or messed up. The food is good, but the kitchen needs to get it together.
My friend and I dined at The Park before a theatre show nearby. The waitress expedited our order so we would be out on time. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere! We both ordered the salmon with artichokes and sunchokes. The salmon was cooked to perfection, although the sunchokes were a bit undercooked. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at The Park and would come back again!
A business dinner of burgers was a real hit. Low key vibe was perfect because we all needed to chill. Love the ambiance here so many different parts to the place. Armchairs by the fireplace or table in the atrium. Allow you to change it up but still enjoy the reasonable prices for great food.
The food and the ambiance were great. However, the service was atrocious. Checked in for my reservation and was told they were moving around some tables to put some together for our group of 5, and it would be about 5 minutes. I got back up 15 minutes later to be told the same thing...and then seated at one corner booth table....why was I told twice that they were putting together tables for us to be seated at one big one already in place? Then we sat for almost 20 minutes before anyone came over to even pour water in the empty glasses on the table....after we asked twice. Someone at the table ordered a drink on the rocks, it was brought straight up and it was 15 minutes before we could even get anyone's attention to ask them for ice and another 20 before anyone brought some out....and the ice was given to us in a burning hot out of the dishwater glass so already half water. The good food and fantastic company saved the night but I have lived in New York 7 years and have never been so annoyed by service.
