Evening started out by having to wait 20 minutes for our table when there were at least 8 tables available. Keep in mind we did have a reservation! That was then followed by the menu not including several choices listed on the version that was posted on Open Table. Specials were never told us as we realized by hearing them announced to other tables. Staff seems like recently hired as we did not see any of the staples that have beef there for years and provided the level of service that the prices ask for. Not good in this area! Waiter poured wine up to 3/4 of the glass.....this on a $200 bottle we selected!! That screams of inexperience!!!!! Steak was tough which was never an issue. Use a lot of cilantro which is not at all listed as ingredients on the menu items. Signature soufflé wasn’t told to us until we asked which caused a wait on dessert that was not warranted. I truly will have a hard time to go back here as it is not at all close to its legacy as a premier steakhouse gem in Bergen County. Very sad to say.

We come here often. The food is always excellent -- it never disappoints. Service is attentive and professional. When ordering wine by the glass, I'm always happy with the generous
pour by the waiters which they will do at the table. One of the best places to eat in Bergen County.

From the moment you drive in you are treated like a welcome guest. Friendly and attentive service are the first thing you acknowledge...then it’s about the food. We started with sizzling scallops with foie gras which is served on a small cast iron skillet...so flavorful. Salads were fresh and tasty. Porterhouse for two with garlic mash potatoes was served at the perfect temperature and was simply delicious. This will be our new go to for those special occasions.

One of our finest dining experiences. Sirloin steak, Hanger steak special, scallops appetizer, zeppole for dessert. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. Cannot wait to go back.

I'd heard good things so I figured it'd be a nice place to go for an anniversary dinner. Honestly, I was underwhelmed. I will say the serving staff was very professional and attentive and the steaks were cooked properly and very tender. The lobster bisque did have large pieces of lobster in it, but the broth was very thin, more like tomato soup in color and consistency than an actual bisque, it tasted alright though. Wasn't a fan of how they do they chimichurri sauce, tasted like they used thyme or rosemary instead of, or in addition to, the expected cilantro, too sweet and floral. Sazerac cocktail was okay. Lobster in the surf and turf was presented nicely but bland. We were wedged into a table for two between the stairs and a high traffic aisle which led to being repeatedly bumped into (and I'm far from being a thick or large guy, so that's not a factor) which was another problem.

Overall it really wasn't a bad experience, I guess others had just built up my expectations of the restaurant and it didn't measure up. In addition to that is the fact dinner for two (no appetizers, two entrees, one cocktail, a glass of wine, and a shared dessert) came out to nearly $200 with tip and it just wasn't worth it. I was legitimately disappointed, I'd go back if someone else was buying but I'd suggest several other places first.

What a great find.
My wife and I decided to try as I was in the mood for steak and di not want to travel to Edgewater. Steaks were good, Angus not prime, but aged sufficiently. The food was very good but the highlight of the experience was our waiter, Eric. He was one of the most personable, professional and knowledgeable waiter I have come across in a very long time and only in highly rated establishments. He is passionate about your order and is one of the most helpful waiters around.

Dinner was great! Only issue was that we felt rushed by the wait staff. I fully understand that they want to go home, but 10:15pm on a Saturday night isn’t that late to be out, especially at a nice restaurant like that.

We had a 6:45 Friday night reservation. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all. The valet was pleasant even funny, and the hostess polite. We were seated downstairs which was nice because it was quiet. The warm lighting and wine barrel wall art created a cozy atmosphere.

We ordered cabernet to start along with the meatball appetizer. We split the wedge salad which was perfect for two people. I ordered the 12oz filet and my husband the 12oz sirloin both were cooked to perfection (medium rare as per our request). For the sides we ordered mashed potatoes and the asparagus which paired perfectly with the steaks. For dessert we had coffee, cappuccino and creme brûlée.

Everything from the wine to the dessert was delicious. We will definitely return again.

I’d never been to the Park even though it’s right around the corner. Maybe because we don’t eat beef. But their seafood options are great! Mussels were among the best I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot! Waitperson offered samples of wine and gave a good pour. Wine list is a bit limited but will be fine for non-oenophiles.

Excellent steak! And that’s what you should come here for. The steaks, appetizers (especially the cold seafood tower) and sides are what you’d expect when going for the New York steak house feel (and price). I was surprised that my dinner included a side. Most steak houses are strictly a-la-carte. Would definitely go back.

Not only is the food fabulous and doesn't disappoint every time you go there, but the staff is friendly and accommodating. There is no other place (including the great restaurants in the city) that make you feel like you are very special to them.

My husband and I used to go here alone, with family and business associates. We just moved back to the area after being away for over ten years. We were celebrating our anniversary., which was indicated on our reservation. The food was just okay, the service good but overall a disappointing experience . The maitre de stopped by several tables near us but didn’t stop by our table which was in the corner behind a loud table of three. We weren’t expecting anything but a simple recognition of our anniversary would have been nice, we were served very quickly even though there were still many empty tables. We just moved into a new community of homes nearby and were hoping this would be our go to place as well as one we could recommend to our neighbors. We won’t be back and certainly won’t be recommending it .
