The Paris Cafe
We have a Full Bar, Winter Cocktail Specials, Happy Hour Specials, serve a wide range of Craft Beers that change seasonally as well as Wines by the Glass and Bottle. Enjoy views of the Brooklyn Bridge, watch the ships go by on the East River while overlooking the cobblestone streets, or take in one of the many sporting events on one of our 12 Big Screen TVs.
The Paris Cafe was closed for 51 weeks after the devastation of Hurricane Sandy but it has been renovated (the magnificent Victorian back-bar has been restored and is returned to its original layout) and returns with a fresh look while keeping the old feel and vibe. Come on in for a pint or two!

I wouldn't call this a French restaurant. It was just okay food and venue. The staff was friendly and competent.
Perfect location for lunch before we strolled across the Brooklyn bridge which is within walking distance. Broad variety on menu from chicken pot pie to Brunswick stew.
Came here on a Sunday afternoon in the off season. The staff was attentive and nice. The food was excellent and the value was good, considering they give you a free mimosa. I will come again!
The staff was great and so were the patrons! Helping to set up my daughters Bday table and balloons while we skated across the street. The whole bar basically sang with us. Great food, friendly server. We will return the next time we travel down the East Side.
Cozy atmosphere! Service was a little slow, but only a little. Really enjoyed our visit, the pot pie was awesome!
Excellent service and excellent food!!
Great brunch - casual pub-like venue and feel, good portions and tasty food. My wife had the regular benedict, I had the salmon benedict and we were both very happy. Fast and good service.
Only criticism was the included cocktails with the brunch which were just ok, possibly because of well-quality liquor being used, but they were basically free so can't complain too much, may just get the orange juice next time. I had the bloody-mary which was just ok, my wife had the mimosa and the champagne quality wasn't great.
It's a bit of a tourist restaurant, basic menu items, happy hour, cheap drinks etc. But it hit the mark for us. We were happy.
Great place. Fish and chips very good. UFO on tap. What more could you want? Burgers delivered to adjacent table looked awesome as well. Maybe next time.
Seated right on time host was very friendly and nice.our hostess was great ,service was excellent
Excellent food and service. Beautifully decorated for Christmas!
Searched all over to find a wonderful environment, great food and genuine historic value to celebrate with friends and family.
The brunch was better than expected. The staff was extremely professional, accommodating and attentive. They truly helped us enjoy our small gender reveal brunch!!!
The menu is great, and so are the prices, by New York standards. My burger, hubbie's Shepard's Pie, and our guest's short ribs special were generously portioned and very tasty. It was a very slow Monday night, and our server was even slower. We waited ages for any signs of him, mostly in vain. I'm sure this is not always the case, but it did make our evening a lot longer than we'd planned. Otherwise, all went well.
Always pleases!!!
so incredibly good! i had the fish and chips and it melted on my mouth. the shrimp scampi was also amazing! highly recommend, fabulous ambiance
Great lunch in a historic spot. Food is great, and so is the service.
Great historic place with very good menu. Would recommend.
A true neighborhood gem! Good food and excellent staff!
Great brunch option in the Sea Port area! If you order off the Brunch menu you get one drink with it which is super nice. The ambiance is pleasant, it's a pretty big and classic space, very comfortable and not too close to your neighbors. The food was good (not great) and we were able to hang out for a while without being pushed out the door. Good place to start before spending a day in the Fulton area.
Friends in from another country.
The food was exceptional. Else enjoyed the cucumber cocktail; wine not so much. But we were there to eat!
Really bad service, they forgot to bring our wine hardly ever checked up on us.. and when we asked for the check they never came back out to pick it up. We had to go inside to pay. They neglect the outside tables.
Great place to eat and connect with family and friends. Food was very good, as was the service. Nose level inside was really bad, but we ended up eating outside which was much better and more comfortable. Great place that I would return to and recommend to family and friends.
Loved it! Best views!
My elderly parents enjoyed the delicious food.
The gracious owner spent time at our table and helped my dad reminisce of the old days when my dad was an active member of the NYC Police Department.
We can wait to return in the fall!
Nice cozy place. I would go back, bartender very nice
The staff was amazing and accommodating when we were late for our reservation. The food was amazing.
The history of The Paris Cafe coupled with their great menu, bar and staff make this a go to neighborhood spot. I recommend it for dinner, lunch, brunch, parties and watching sports.
You're welcome 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great place... they could use a few more carb free options.
As always, the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Will keep going back!
It has become our go-to spot for Sunday Brunch when we are in the area! Always delicious and great service!
Great food and the staff was very pleasant. We went at 12:30pm, and the place was busy, but we weren't rushed.
Burgers and Caesar salad were awesome! We also enjoyed Georgia Peach Sours (straight-up) as well as dark brownie for dessert.
You do not find not so easy such nice places in NY. Absolutely to be recommanded !!
Way too loud. The music was unbelievably loud. A table of 5 men in the dining area were out of control and loud. Management did nothing to intervene. I would never go back.
My colleagues and I dined early at lunch time before the peak of the lunch hour during the July 4th holiday. It didn't get too noisy. The burgers are great here! But, this time around, I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich on a Ciabatta Roll. It's not the first time I've ordered this meal (I'm a repeat customer). I noticed that this time, the chicken has gotten smaller. Different chef perhaps? The service is great. The server we had was attentive.
I love the restaurant, we have been there a few times and it never disappoints. The food is good comfortable American food, and the service is very nice. We sat outside last time we were there, which is better than inside as noise level - between the TVs and the music it can get quite noisy
Great find in Seaport. Lovely food, great service and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!
The waitress was very personable and accommodating. The food was served hot and it was deliscious!
The service was good. I made a reservation through open table for 12 pm and I was seated immediately upon arrival. The waiter provided great service and the food arrived quickly. I ordered the garden salad with grilled salmon. The skin on the salmon was crisp and it was decently seasoned. The salad was large and had a nice balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
