The Palm Boston

Steak did not have much flavor
Was served on a plate with nothing on it
Spinach side was brought several after as was the peppercorn sauce for the steak
It was good just a little laughter then expected
Had an amazing time and great food at The Palm for my graduation dinner.
I wish I could remember our server’s name... (female, dark hair, small build) because she was just fantastic! So nice and attentive, and made our experience perfect! We are not local, and are in town for only a couple of days celebrating something special. And while I thought I wanted to choose a restaurant that wasn’t available to us back home in Vegas, I am SO happy we didn’t. Food and service was just PERFECT, and the staff insisted we finish off our evening at their bar to watch the end of the playoff basketball game even though they were in the process of closing up the restaurant. Thank you so much for a great evening The Palm Boston! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality dining experience!
Second time there. Never disappointed. Food is delicious and the service is excellent. Person is my party has gluten allergy and the server went out of her way to accommodate her needs
Mother's Day dinner is always going but o be a bit strange, but tonight's experience at The Palm was a little below expectations. The restaurant was not that crowded (there were plenty of open tables) but service seemed a step behind all night. Appetizers came before the bread. The man's cocktail was served before the obvious guest of honor (mother). Veal parm probably 30 seconds too long under the salamander (burnt cheese, not just slightly carmelized). Tomato Capri salad is simple to the point of being spartan -- no olive oil or sweet vinegar glaze, although the tomato was beautiful, and the mozzarella was pillowy. We'll be back, but The Palm needs to step up its game!
We went for dinner on mothers day and were not disappointed. The food was excellent. My wife has the sirloin steak which was cooked perfectly. I had the lobster which was delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be back.
We really enjoyed our Mothers Day experience. It was delicious and a great overall experience.
Excellent experience overall
Great food and service.
The Palm Boston is awesome! From the food to the wait staff. A must place to have dinner in Boston!!
The restaurant was not very busy but the service was incredibly slow. The food was amazing. One of our sides was never brought out.
Great location, service and selection. Food selection was great
On the fly reservation
Had s great meal and experience- as always
My boyfriend and I came here this past Saturday to celebrate his birthday and everything was delicious. Food was great, service was excellent and the whole environment was romantic. I would highly recommend to come here!
It was our 40th anniversary dinner
It was not as we remembered
This Palm was not on par with others where I have eaten, including in New York and Washington, D.C. Although it was not busy, the service was slow and disorganized and slow. The food came out cold. We were not charged for one dish, but were charged the dinner price ($36) for chicken parm, rather than the lunch price ($16).
Just blah. I've been to The Palm and Palm 2 in New York where there is much more atmosphere than at the Palm Boston. The steak was dry which was unexpected and the service needed some improvement (messed up the order). Add the high price tag and I won't be going back to this location.
Excellent as always
the food was very good, we ordered the lump crabmeat cocktail for $25, 3 pound lobster for $89, and pasta with shrimp for $39. the thing that was disappointing was our server. he did not serve us bread, when every other table surrounding us was served bread. also, for some reason he did not offer us the “Soup of the Day,” even when we asked what soup they have! the only way we found out about the soup of the day is when we heard the table behind us order it. the server was not welcoming, he talked to us like we were not fit to eat at this restaurant. that server was tipped accordingly. we notified the manager, who was very nice and welcoming. she offered us to bring home a free soup of the day.
The food was extremely overpriced for what it is. The tomato on my caprese salad was horrible. Nothing special about this place except the prices! Way high for what you’re getting. And the service was slow both for drinks and food.
The reason to go to a top flight expensive steakhouse is because if you’re going to impair your cholesterol level and grow your waist line you want the experience and particularly the eating to be GOOD. The highest quality. Palms meat quality isn’t what it was just two years ago. And in three straight trips there to buy a 50 or 60 dollar steak they have failed to cook my steak rare. They over cook and it puts you in the awkward position of sending it back or paying for something you don’t want. I’m looking for a Boston steakhouse that knows how to cook steak. Will write when I find one
We went to The Palm for my birthday with friends. The service and ambiance were excellent and the food was even better! From the burrata and tuna appetizers to the salads and delicious steak special, everything was so good! Highly recommend!
This Palm does not keep up with other Palms. The Caesar salad is cold and bland. The Branzino comes out soggy with vegetables draped on it. Very strange to do to a beautiful piece of fish. They also take all the lobster out of the live lobsters and put it back in the shell. Let the customer work the lobster. Why give tools if you are going to take it out? This Palm is just ok.
The food was great and would highly recommend but I think the old location was much better. Still the classic palm but just in a weird location.
I recently dined here with my wife for our wedding anniversary. The place is great. The architecture is very old school with marble pillars running throughout the dining room. The food was pricey but very high quality and worth it. Will definitely be dining here again.
It was good, not the best steakhouse in Boston.
I have never had a bad meal at the Palm but my chicken Ceasar just wasn't good. The grilled chicken was cold and, honestly, tasted like it was boiled and then dropped on the the Ceasar dressing was bland. My first bad experience. I guess no restaurant is perfect.
It was my little brother Teddy’s birthday and along with his other older brother, Erick, we all had one of the best nights out in a long time. The service was incredible, the food was insanely good and my now 25 year old little brother Teddy enjoyed a great start to the second quarter of his life.
Very overpriced for a very average steak. Great service and a very nice atmosphere.
Great food and drinks. The sides were delicious--and as always the multi-layered chocolate cake for dessert. Our waitress was a gem and we look forward to coming back.
Wonderful venue for an opulent evening of indulgence. Amazing service!
Food was amazing. Only complaint was that the music was a bit loud if you want to have a conversation with someone but other than that, attentive staff and delicious food.
Knowledgeable server! Great food!!
The food is amazing... especially the chicken parmesan. Gregory is the best waiter! Ask for him!
The Palm experience was wonderful, great food, wonderful service and love the room.
The waiter seemed to be having a very bad day and there was a long, curly hair in my companion’s salad. Terrible.
As a follow up Manager called me today promptly at 12 noon and heard my complaints and promised to make it right. That’s a good manager and one that listens to the customer.
Up from NY...not the stellar Palm experience I expected. They promise to do better next time.
Water glass came with a hair on it. Most of the food was very good-lobster roll was not that great.
Great food and ambiance. Professional lunch hotspot. Highly recommend!
