Expensive for the quality of food. The meal came before the drinks and then they forgot our sides which then came after dinner- which they didn’t apologise for.
With the huge choice in Boston you can do better
Watch out for the information the waiter gives you. The catch of the day did not have price. Since it was lunch and the most expensive dishes were approx in the $20s I presumed it would be around that number. It was $46. Really bothered because in those cases that there is so much difference with the other items in the menu the waiter should inform. Not happy about it.
Christine was amazing!
A great venue for sure. Food was great. Our server Christina was attentive and professional. A great evening!
We were celebrating my son’s birthday and could not have had a more pleasant and memorable experience. Michelle was responsible for our table and she could not have been more accommodating. From the minute we were seated she made our son the center of attention in celebration of his special day. The food was outstanding and the overall dining experience was a night to remember. We look forward to our return.
Fantastic service by Stephani and the entire staff. We were very well taken care of and the attention to detail, care and overall service were all exquisite.
palm experience. Professional service providers, epic 4 pound lobster perfectly cooked and yummy accruements!!
Always a favorite spot for me and now my family . Great food and service is always super
Great food and our server Kristen was the best. We split the double cut 38 oz between three and it was worth it. Great place!!!
Food was great when it finally arrived. We arrived on time for our reservation on a Friday night but it took over 10 minutes for any server to approach us after the host seated us. To me, a nice steakhouse like Palm should be more on top of their service. We had to ask for water to be refilled each time. There were only 3-4 tables at the time we arrived as it was 9:30 pm so they weren't busy. I get not having as much attention if the dining room is packed.
Food was fair in quality, but for the price not worth it. I had the chicken Parm, lobster bisque and flourless chocolate cake. There are better places to try.
Veal Chop more like a ribeye than a veal chop...tough, fatty and not a Palm type product
Everything was wonderful, we had a great evening and will be returning soon.
The waite staff was incredible and the food delicious.
Reliable, delicious, easy location for a business lunch. Attentive service. One tuna entrée was undercooked but they fixed it right away. The Ahi tuna salad seems to have less tuna than before, but hopefully I was mistaken, because it's my favorite!
Except for the side order of mashed potatoes, everything came out room temperature. That does not happen at the sister restaurants in NYC.
old school class as usual. never disappoints, a true old standby, you always know what you are going to get and it is always done spot on.
We were seated at a lovely table but the noise and the atmosphere were not what we expected. We realized it was a Friday night, but the music was a tad too edgy and hip for what we would have expected for a typical steak house. However, it was Restaurant Week in Boston so that might have explained the noise. The waiter hovered at the table after taking our drink order, and not in a good way— we hadn’t even gotten our drinks or had a chance to review the menu when he was asking for our order. That was not a good sign of things to come. We ordered and before we knew it, the salad arrived — it was very good, but again, we felt like we were being rushed— despite the many empty tables in the restaurant. Breads were very good and tasty, but we had no chance to really enjoy them since the mains arrived. Steaks were both ordered medium well and were definitely very well done- pathetic, completely charred fillet mignon and N.Y. strips on the plates! I had ordered a wine by the glass, which was never served and our waiter never came around to check on our meal, despite his previous hovering. The waiter finally came to see about dessert and acted indignant when I questioned him about the service and the forgotten wine. Just wanted us to order dessert- no way! We left with the understanding to hat this was a one and only, now knowing why our hotel never recommended this close-by restaurant. It was back to the hotel bar to savor some single malt scotch to help us forget the dinner. Never again for The Palm!
We party of 6， only 5 came. booked table, no asking, bring us to table for 4 first. the salmon is good, salad is too too so sour，no order wine, cup stayed on table all the time.
we were initially charged for a complimentary appetizer , our salmon tasted like it was poached in dish water , prime rib was served with a salty brown gravy and the filet was an odd shape, so disappointed not like the philly palm that we were used to.
Walking back from the North End one day, a colleague remarked on the architecture at International Place. I knew that The Palm was there, so I suggested that we try it out for lunch one day. This restaurant is in an exceptionally beautiful space in an exceptionally beautiful building. The food was very good (we just had salads and bread), and the service was efficient and professional. Opentable gives The Palm 4 dollar signs, but I was impressed with how economical a choice it was for lunch. When we walked in, I thought it might be too noisy for conversation, but we did not find it so in our booth. On the way out to tour the building's lobby, we passed the very inviting bar area. If I were in Boston at one of the waterfront hotels for business, I would definitely dine at that bar.
Excellent -the Bacon Appetizer was to DIE for! The service was excellent the food was amazing and they even discounted the appetizers for us!! Outstanding!!!!
Great food and atmosphere. Service is always outstanding
Great time. The food was awesome.
We love The Palm Restaurant especially Boston! Great service and great food. Very comfortable restaurant.
Food and service was great
Thank you to the Palm and our server, Stephanie for making our experience fantastic! Stephanie has taken care of us before and always goes out of her way to help make the dining experience wonderful. Steaks were amazing and we are also impressed with the gluten free offerings. Look forward to returning!
Lunch at the Palm is always reliable and excellent, particularly for business meals in the area. Its lunch salad options are delicious, healthy and generous; the Seared Ahi Tuna is a favorite. A lovely environment in which to relax, debrief and have a civilized conversation with great food!
My husband and I recently went for my husband's birthday. The food was outstanding. The 3 cheese potato augratin was the best potato dish I have ever had. Staff was all very pleasant and attentive. Our waitress was not as attentive as we would have liked. Very personable but questioned me when I purchased what turned out to be the most expensive bottle of wine on the menu not once but twice. I assured her it was the bottle I wanted. I found that a bit annoying. There were a couple of other small incidents of waiting for utensils and checking on us but overall would highly recommend this restaurant. Food was amazing and we were not rushed at all.
Very intimate crowd, extremely attentive waitress
This is not my type of restaurant. Music was geared towards 20 somethings and it was very loud. It was Valentine's Day and I was expecting to be able to converse with my husband. I asked the manager to change the music and he said he couldn't because it was a "corporate decision". Finally we were moved to the patio where it was cold even with the heaters blasting at us. I really liked our server and she stayed with us through the entire meal. The main dining space is too noisy for us and too over the top. We were give a gift card otherwise I don't think we would have picked your "corporate" restaurant.
Food was amazing, service was tremendous, would definitely come back and recommend to others
My sister and I took our mother to a show in Boston for her birthday and were looking for somewhere to take her for dinner after. Just like all mothers, ours deserves nothing but the best. I’ve been hearing nothing but good things about The Palm for years and decided this was the perfect opportunity to give it a try. Let me tell you - we had the best dining experience I’ve ever had, and I’ve worked in the service industry for 12+ years. From hostess to SA, we felt like we were personally invited guests. Our server, Gregory, perfectly guided us through our entire evening. He had the best food and wine pairing recommendations, and a smile that is hard to forget. There was a perfect balance of attentiveness and we were never left for wanting more. Both my mother and I had the Wagyu steak and it was the best meal of our lives (we still talk about it). My sister ordered the evening’s special which was a fresh grilled Sea Bass and she was NOT disappointed. And of course, we all had to share the lobster truffle Mac & cheese and some green beans. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the fabulous menu and will definitely be asking if Gregory is working that evening.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was very nice and attentive
One of the best experiences I've had In a while, absolutely love the restaurant I would eat there once a week if it wasn't like almost $300 for two people to eat
Quality of meat is going down.
Service was great/ high-end, very attentive but the food wasn't anything special for me. The chicken on my caesar salad was dry and pretty flavorless. Has the somewhat-pretentious financial district business lunch service you'd expect in the area though.
the lobster bisque was spicy "flavored with cayenne" it was returned for clams casino;
the booth we were in felt cramped with us sitting across from each other;
the bread basket was fine and flavorful but it was COLD;
again picky items but which detract from the otherwise excellent meal.
Fabulous service with outstanding food! Kristen catered to our every whim and Jamie is the perfect host- happy birthday to him!
