What a wonderful way to spend our Thanksgiving Dinner! Our friends at The Palm did an incredible job of making my wife Kim, my son Kevin and I all feel like part of the family. The Thanksgiving meal was delicious, with very generous portions as always. The staff continues to be incredibly accommodating with my 3yr old son, who had a blast at his favorite restaurant in Boston. Thanks for making our Thanksgiving so memorable. -Tom
Kristen was hands down the worst waitress ever. She has served me about 5 times and always been slightly dramatic (in an annoying embarrassing way), but tonight she crossed the line of professionalism. I’m horrified this woman stands next to the fine Palm family with Julie, Gregory and Carlos who have made me feel at home the last 7 years. Truly disappointed on an annual special pre-Thanksgiving night with the family.
Good business lunch and dinner venue. Food is consistent.
Wonderful waitress, delicious food, great atmosphere.
Terrific lunch spot with great food and luxury value.
I went during lunch it was very noisy. There was a miscommunication with my food. We were seated in the back. Overall it was okay. Maybe I will try going back for dinner.
Excellent for business meal, especially if you have some important guests. I'd recommend this restaurant for any important event. But, be ready to pay!
I have dined there about 6 times but the last 2 times were notably outstanding. The quality of the food is just excellent. Try the crab meat cocktail and the veal parmigiana . I don't know if there is a new chef but don't change anything! The music playing last Sunday was nice and soothing and great for digestion. Keep up the good work and you have moved up to my number 2 spot for favorite food.
We love the Palm !!! The food , service and ambiance were great. see you soon or in Miami.
A gorgeous setting for superb dining and service.
The food at Palm is always reliable and delicious. Service for our group of 6 was a bit slow; we had to ask for a waiter to come to the table in the beginning after not seeing one after being seated. Our waiter also seemed hesitant to interrupt the energetic conversation at the table and in one instance walked away after we did not acknowledge him immediately.
Been there a number of times but this time was exceptionally good. The crabmeat cocktail is excellent. Try the hash brown potatoes. Lobster and veal parm superb. Service tries I think but a bit off.
Another fantastic meal at The Palm! My wife and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at the bar, where Sebastian took very good care of us...as always. The food speaks for itself, but it’s the wonderful people and the incredible service that brings us back. Thank you!
The service from the second we walked in the restaurant was outstanding. Our server Kathleen was the best - she made sure we were well taken care of the entire evening - which made our date even more special. They oysters were amazing and for some reason, the boiled lobster is always the best at The Palm, Boston - it didn't disappoint once again. Don't leave without trying the Bag of Donuts! Thank you for a fabulous evening!
We have a four too for a business lunch today and Michele was our waitress (the best). Great meal, great service and fast. We were in and out of there. Highly recommended for business meals or anytime for that matter.
The food was incredible. If you are looking for a great steak and don't mind a more expensive meal The Palm can't be beat.
Went on a Saturday night at 8 and they had run out of rib eye and we weren’t told until well after ordering. Waiter tried hard to be courteous but was just over the top with questions. It wasn’t his fault but he was poorly trained. Food was very good but it was just not a great experience like it has been in the past. Not sure why things are so different there. The place was empty as well which means that I must not be the only one that felt this way and the others spoke with their actions instead. For $100 per person with no one having drinks you would expect a much better experience.
The wait staff was attentive, the meals, steak and veal parmesan, were delicious and the atmosphere nice. Even the breads were outstanding. Complementary desert because it was an anniversary dinner was a nice surprise and the carrot cake was the best!
Fabulous evening. Fantastic servers & food! Beautiful building.
Food Tasted way better this time and the soups were very delicious!
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal - you accommodated our requests very well. The only thing is the staff energy. Even though it was quite staff didn't seem happy to be there - a little smile will go along way. Will return for food.
The food and service were fair. It markets itself as a high end restaurant but it’s falls short. The food was overpriced for the quality. Filet Mignon was dry and tough. Certainly not well cooked. For the price I would recommend going to Ruth’s Chris or Capital Grill to get the full experience. Service was fair but our waitress would be gone for long periods of time.
Loved it! Especially the grass-fed filet - definitely my kind of place!
Absolutely delicious and a must go to place.
Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and great food. The clams casino were really tasty, but very tiny. The steaks were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! Everything is a la carte but you can get a single portion of vegetable/potato on the side.
I must say we weren’t very impressed with the lobster bisque, it was just ok..
The belvedere and expresso martinis were perfect!
The comfortable booth seating/candleite table, made for a relaxing and romantic experience.
Overall a lovely fine dining restaurant with wonderful and attentive service.
It was a great place to celebrate my 60th birthday. Thank you for the complimentary dessert, decorated table, and the happy birthday card on our table, upon our arrival. We enjoyed our evening and certainly will be back. Highly recommend for a special occasion.
the food was awful, and initially so was the service.
However, the waiter noticed I hadn't eaten much and asked. I explained it was poor quality and only Luke warm. The manager removed it from the bill, and offered a replacement, which I declined. So, all in all, a very disappointing experience, but the staff did try to recover as best they could.
My wife gave it a 5. She didn’t like anything about the restaurant. I had one of the best bone in ribeye I had in awhile as that is why I am rating it as high.
Host never came come to the check-in area. Fortunately, a bartender signed me in. Otherwise service was impeccable. Food was very tasty. Only quibble with food - I asked for medium rare, but the steak was prepared medium well. At these prices the temperature should be perfect.
I am a huge fan of the Palm, so it was disappointing to have this very mediocre dinner. They ruined the Gigi Salad! The dressing was all oil, no flavor. This is my go to order, so it was hard to take. The special stone crab appetizer was bad. Crab claws tasted like they were defrosted too quickly, or something that gave them a rough texture. No real flavor. I am going to assume it was a bad night and hope for better on a future visit.
Lots of room for improvement. Not as upscale as I thought it would be. Not as good as the one in New York.
Waitress was fabulous, as was the food. A little too noisy but then we are old and so, less forgiving.
Had the lobster roll. All I tasted was tarragon no lobster. Why do high end restaurants not serve traditional lobster rolls. Very disappointed.
Waiter was superb.
For the prices, I had hoped the service would be better and the staff more professional. At one point a person dragged a large trash can through the dinning room. There also was food on the floor under two of the tables, both unoccupied and set for the next customers.
We had a lovely dinner. Marcel waited on us and it was exceptional. The hostess was wonderful as well but I didn't get her name. There were 2 parties going on, a birthday and a wedding. It didn't bother us at all. Thank you for a lovely time.
Another great meal at the Palm. Wonderful service. Great food and good quantities. We recommend the salmon and the sea bass. We will be back!
Our anniversary experience at the Palm was exceptional, the atmosphere, the wait staff and the wine was excellent. I would absolutely recommend the Palm to friends and family.
My husband and I love this particular location. Love their menu. My favorite is their selection of fish and salads. Everything is prepared just right. Right amount of seasoning, good portions and nice presentation. Always clean, attentive servers and comfortable lighting.
We were somewhat disappointed with what has been one of our favorite restaurants for specialoccasions.
My 12 OZ. Filet Mignon was ordered rare, arrived almost medium. My wife was surprised that they didn’t have a Veal Chop on hand(even though they took it off the every evening menu). She was able to get a great Veal Chop on our 53rd Anniversary in June. She ordered a Shrimp Penne dish that she graded as “mediocre”. After registering her dissatisfaction with her dish, the waiter spoke to the General Manager, and he generously agreed to take the full price off of our bill. Nice gesture, but we are planning to try The Capital Grill or The Chart House next time we are in town.
6 lbs female lobster, 18oz NY Strip and Penne with Shrimp, Caesar Salad, and Calamari as a starter. Aperol Spritz and Boston beers. Relaxing 2 hr dinner with family conversation, what's not to enjoy on a beautiful summer evening.
