   We are used to afternoon tea in London and Paris Service need to be seriously improved Some of the waiter seems to be quite unhappy with their job, Value for for this kind of money is a big joke , GRAT added without asking on the bill Save it for London or Paris, so much delicate and authentic experience This palace lost its Étiquette 🏷

   We had a truly delightful experience today, visiting with my disabled mother and niece. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after. The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious I chose the vegan option, which was beautifully presented and full of flavour, while my family enjoyed the Central Park afternoon tea selection which was all home made. Our server, whom I believe was named Elvis, was exceptional warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, regularly checking in to make sure everything was perfect. It was a brilliant way to conclude our trip to New York City before returning home to the UK. A memorable and heartwarming afternoon all around.

   Worth every penny. Amazing atmosphere, wonderful tea and outstanding pastries, finger sandwiches and scones. The service was outstanding.

   Been wanting to have high tea here since I was a little girl. It lived up to its expectations and absolutely delicious with a thoughtful balance of sweet and savoury. Loved the signature tea too! Thank you so much to Syed for the amazing service and friendliness, he made this a special experience. I will be back again next time I visit!

   Absolutely lovely afternoon. Food was the perfect blend of flavors delivering both a distinctive menu while being a traditional high tea experience. The Plaza blend tea has a nice touch of spice and Jurko was a unique and enjoyable tea flavor palette.

   I was looking forward to having afternoon tea at the Plaza having heard renowned reviews of The Plaza hotel. The greeting and the service is well but I was extremely disappointed by the afternoon tea provided. Firstly, sugar should. It be served in sachets but cubes or within a sugar jar (Remember your hotel is supposed to be 5 star I expect 5 star presentation). Secondly, the sandwiches were great but not enough. For the price you charge, I expect to be asked if I wish for more sandwiches. Thirdly, the scones were not warm. Traditional afternoon tea you serve the scones warm not cold. Fourthly, scones should either be plain or with sultanas. I was served a scone that contained both lemon or orange zest ans sultanas which was not appealing to eat. Fifthly, the price of the basic afternoon tea is well over priced to what is offered. I couldn’t believe the final bill when adding tax and 18% gratuity. This was ridiculous!!! and day light robbery!! Over the years I have experienced afternoon tea in the most prestigious and eloquent and 6 star hotels, which includes, The Ritz in London, The Savoy in London, The Dorchester in London including the Shard and I have paid half the price for more food including champagne. This was the most expensive afternoon tea I have ever paid for which unfortunately did not match the service and food offered to me on the day (Which was last week). This was extremely disappointing.!! Never again will I do afternoon tea at The Plaza.

   Our waiter Elvis was exceptional! Took very good care of my mom and me. All of the staff was being kind and warm!

   It was a fabulous experience. The people were so courteous and professional yet warm. My friend and I celebrated our 50th birthdays together and it was a memory that will last forever.

    We went as a way to cross off an item from my cousin's bucket list. She had always wanted to do Tea at the Plaza. To me was not worth the price. If you go, know that you are going to pay Michelin star restaurant prices for what is mostly an experience. Is it beautiful? Absolutely. But for the price of $125 to $235 per person for what is essentially hors d'oeuvres, I was expecting that the space would be more intimate (you are in an open area where halls and the other spaces are open all around you) and that the food would be out of this world. The food was good, but I paid less in a one-star Michelin for better food and larger portions. The service was good, but nothing out of this world either. I made a request on my reservation for writing on something as a little surprise for my cousin, but it was not done. Almost $400 later, I didn't feel like I would have missed out much without this experience. I feel it might be much more hyped than it's worth.
