The Palm Court’s Afternoon Tea truly shines with custom tableware and china, a fragrant tea list steeped in history, and of course, a bit of precocious Eloise too. Guests are invited to nibble on our in-house Pastry Chef’s unique culinary offerings like delicate finger sandwiches, buttery scones and elegant desserts, which are all made from scratch with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Hours:
Breakfast* | 6:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
Confirmed breakfast reservations at The Palm Court
are reserved for hotel guests at this time.

Afternoon Tea | 11:00 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Lite Fare & Cocktails | 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
Reservations are not required but recommended
*Lite Fare menu ends at 10:00 p.m.
*Based on hotel occupancy. Hotel guests will be priority.

    Wonderful first time tea and something for everyone. Even my 17 year old was able to enjoy the Eloise tea. A wonderful memory and experience.

    The Plaza hotel is iconic. Beautiful architecture and furnishings We had afternoon tea and it couldn't have been any better. The food was exquisite. The surroundings were gorgeous and the service was terrific.

    This has become a tourist trap. The environment is loud and messy with wait staff that doesn't care about making the experience special. It was $530 for 3 people and it was all very average at best. There are so many hotels and environments in NYC that are way more special.

    Poor service. The restrooms were so far away and down several stairs. The lights went out during service and was so dark. Our tea was not brought out until mid service and we were there for afternoon tea. Disappointed.

    It is a lovely experience. You feel like royalty. Attentive service, tasty, lovely presentation. We ordered the low price choice on the menu. It was lovely and exactly what you would expect for a tea service.

    From the moment we arrived, every staff member was very polite, friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, one of our party had a nut allergy, this was no trouble at all & the substitutions were wonderful.
