Guests are invited to nibble on our in-house Pastry Chef’s unique culinary offerings like delicate finger sandwiches, buttery scones and elegant desserts, which are all made from scratch with local, seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

It would’ve been quicker service if we went to a closed McDonalds drive through. Truly was a terrible experience. Our server was nice and kind. The Fairmont in general has always had good service but it was truly atrocious at the Plaza hotel. If you know it’s your busy season invest in more waiters. It took us 20 minutes to even be acknowledged at our table, 40 minutes to get a simple drink and an additional hour to get a cheese board… we didn’t even have water on the table for the entire experience. We won’t be dining here again.

We loved our experience being at the Palm Court, from the moment you check in, to then being escorted to our table, to our great waiter. Everyone was so welcoming and charming, especially our waiter, who I'm sorry to say I didn't get his name, but this lovely experience will be with me until I come again next Christmas.

We enjoy having high tea when we travel to London and other places like Victoria, Canada. We have enjoyed it at other prestige hotels in the U.S. We were disappointed about the entire experience of the holiday tea at The Plaza. The holiday decorations were “ okay”, the lobby and the few other areas that we were allowed to walk in were cold, unfriendly, and uninviting. The food at the tea was not up to the standards of other teas we have enjoyed and the price seemed excessive for the food and the experience. The apparent lack of a dress code was a further disappointment. I would not recommend it to others.

We had a lovely time! The service from our main server was not the best - did not explain how it worked to us, and even when we asked questions, it was unclear. He also was slow in taking care of us compared to what we saw around us. But the manager checked on us several times and was very attentive. The food and tea were excellent. Would have loved to buy some of the tea we drank, but they did not have in the plaza shop.

Palm Court staff was amazing, food was great and the visit from Santa was a treat. Hotel entrance staff were rude and confused, this is a five star hotel not a meat packing bottle service club. Cast a shadow on the whole experience, they should be replaced immediately.

Dinner on Dec, 1st, 23. A canteen-level restaurant... Unworthy of the hotel's standing! If you're used to world-class restaurants, you will be very disappointed by The Palm Court! The flower decoration gives a first hint of a huge lack to the detail ... faded or even missing flowers in the plant holders. The restaurant was very crowded and noisy. If you come for a romantic dinner, that's not the place to be. The table is not ready and set when you arrive.... The waitress (dressed like a customer) is nice and tries her best, but behaved stressed and was not smiling at all, has apparently never been trained in high level service and great client experience. Forget trays, serve the glass by the hand, lay down knife and fork somewhere in the middle of the table, pick up the dirty plates on your arm like a bistro waiter and don't ask about the client's experience after the meal ... everything that makes a place an exclusive address was missed. The glass of champagne is served lukewarm, followed by the main course, a club sandwich with piled up dull french fries, lukewarm also. The products used are certainly of high quality, but the presentation is without imagination and worthy of a canteen. Such a pity !! We came to fulfill a dream and left deeply disappointed.

Amazing experience 🩷. The place is divine. Food is delicious. The service is out of this world. They treat you like you are so important. Yes,its a little expensive but you are also paying for the experience so to me, was worth every penny and a beautiful highlight to our trip.

Absolute perfection from beginning to end. Many Champagne toasts…and Elvis, the PERFECT waiter!! Delicious, high tea, prepared to order since I have food allergies. LOVE it there.

It took over 20 min to be greeted and then we only saw the waitress when she took our order and delivered the drinks. We couldn’t get a water refill or order any food or another cocktail. We were there for an hour and 30 min before we could get the bill. Unbelievable that this luxury hotel had such terrible service

Overrated. Yes you go for the experience but this fell short to me. The worst part was the bathrooms, same ambience that you would find at Target and dirtier. Lobby was beautiful. Save your money and go to Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe, better food and decor at a 3rd of the price.

What a beautiful experience! The price is quite shocking at first (you can find very nice afternoon tea services elsewhere for half the price), but you are paying for the quality of service, the ambiance, the environment, and the fact that even their “typical” finger sandwiches are on another level of amazing. Also, we were celebrating a birthday and they brought out a special cake with a candle, it was such a sweet surprise. Highly recommend going and experiencing afternoon tea at the Plaza Palm Court at least once in your life! And dressing up is a must, if only because it is fun to wear a tea party dress and high heels! (Check out the Plaza’s Pinterest board for outfit inspo)

A beautiful time of year (Thanksgiving weekend) to experience high tea at the plaza. However, so very pricy. Should at least include a glass of champagne. Ambience very classic. Carpet shabby 🙃 Service was top notch.

It was the worst experience I ever had. It was my birthday, staff didn’t care at all and we got the worst table. Tourists were able to enter the hotel so it felt like everyone was watching you. No explanation of the food so we didn’t know what we were eating. Hostess was extremely rude and restrooms were dirty. Not a 5 star experience at all, I would never recommend to go there for a afternoon tea.

The “lite fare” experience at the plaza was very underwhelming after having had breakfast there on two separate occasions that were so delightful. So my expectations were set based on those. The price was insane for the cheese and veggies tier. It could’ve been justified if the presentation was better but it was disappointing at the very least. Literally cheese and crackers thrown on a plate. If you go, make sure it’s before afternoon tea ends (before 4pm). Would’ve gone earlier but there was no availability. The lighting is also weird, felt like they were closing since some of the lights were out.

The afternoon tea party went well, as each of us had our own pot of tea with small bite sized pastries, scones and sandwiches that were nicely decorated. But, I’m disappointed of the ambience of the restaurant, which was not as nicely decorated as expected, and the sticker shock was real for the amount of food & limited services required! Thus, overall value is low given the VERY high or expensive prices vs. food & service provided.

A friend and I took our tweens to NYC to enjoy their first girls' weekend. They requested Tea and I knew the Palm Court would be great. We had a party of five, three adults, and two tweens. They enjoyed the Eloise Tea and the adults had the Holiday Tea with Champagne. My only wish was they had given us a larger table. They set a table for four up for five by adding an end seat and an extra setting. The tea towers, table settings, and tea pots-while beautiful-created quite the maneuver job for the five of us. We enjoyed the atmosphere and I look forward to returning. I will just make sure we have enough space to relax and not knock anything over. And also-the dress code is not enforced for all patrons-there was a lot of athletic wear/lululemon wondering about...still very lovely though!!

We came all the way from Australia and Wow what a great experience! Initially I had read some bad reviews so was concerned about going to the plaza for the high tea, however our expectations were more then exceeded. From the moment we walked into the Palm court we had the BEST service, the waiters were so attentive and friendly, they also gave so much time and attention to my 20month old daughter she had a ball, from having her own tea cup to a PBJ sandwich, then Eloise chocolate lollipops and a big choc covered caramel apple, she was in heaven. The food was also very tasty and delicious. Yes it is expensive but it is a great experience and somthing my mother and I will remember forever and wonderful memories to share with my daughter. I highly recommend to visit the Plaza when you are in New York you won’t regret it! All the Christmas Decor just made it that extra special.

Appetizers came during the meal not before. Gratuity was included and decided for us. My partner commented she felt forgotten about. The experience for the money was not worth it. Had much better service at a restaurant in Disney World than here. We expected more and was let down.
