   Elvis our server was great and looked after us. The table layout for the 3 of us meant it wasn’t easy for us all to have a conversation which was a shame. Overall a nice experience but felt a little formulaic.

   Overall, it was an absolutely wonderful experience with one notable exception regarding the initial interaction with the lady at the restaurant reception which I need mention because her behavior was simply unacceptable for a venue of such prestige at your wonderful hotel. In short, when I approached the reception at roughly 1230 on 4 may 2025, I greeted the lady at the reception in an extremely polite manner. Not only did she not return my greeting, but she gave me a dirty look as if I disgusted her and then simply bursquely said "name." Her arrogance and unprofessionalism was out of place at your establishment. With this said, when I mentioned my dissatisfaction with her colleague, he, gentleman with white blazer, went above and beyond to address my concern. When we were eventually seated our server, Mr. JALAL did an absolutely spectacular job in taking great care of us. If there ever were a picture to describe dedication and professionalism, it would be Mr. JALAL. He made our experience absolutely wonderful. Mr. Jalal, please accept my deepest thanks for your absolutely outstanding demonstration of professionalism. Best wishes to you "good sir".

   Good experience. More touristy than classic afternoon tea. Loud, lots of people, lots of kids. Servers are wonderful. Food really good. Just don’t expect Bridgerton or traditional afternoon adult tea

   We had high tea at the plaza, the decoration is outdated and the service was average, not at the level you can expect at the Plaza. The sandwiches and the pasties were good, nevertheless does it worth the price? Really not. Consequently, it is a really disappointing experience, other restaurant offer a much better value for a high tea.

   The vegan afternoon tea was simply divine and such a lovely treat for vegans! We celebrated a milestone birthday and the birthday girl loved it! Would have loved more savory options though. But can’t complain when having a vegan high tea is already such a privilege!

    Great experience. My 7 year old granddaughter’s first trip to NYC. Our waiter, Fariz was fabulous! The food and ambience was fantastic. Thanks The Plaza for an amazing experience.
