Friendly service. Wide selection of Teas. Delicious sandwiches and pastries. 😊
Great food and service! Nice and quiet.
We had an excellent time for afternoon tea. The food was delicious as well as the tea. The service was superior!!
Beautiful room, excellent service but it was a very expensive treat.
Overpriced and TERRIBLE service. I made a reservation through opentable and still had to wait over 20 mins to be seated. Once seated the waiter took our order and did not return for over 30 mins. I finally grabbed another waiter who apologized and brought our food out. Food was ok, but the restaurant wad overstaffed and inefficient. Do not recommend.
Very disappointed. Maybe there was staff that had called off that caused a back log in the kitchen but the wait for a table (we had a reservation) and then the long wait for food that came out cold was not worth it.
Excelente la comida y el lugar. Los cócteles son buenos aunque algo caros comparados con lugares de similar calidad.
El servicio estuvo muy bien. Aunque cometieron un error en uno de los platos que generó una demora.
The afternoon tea was spectacular! Worth every penny. The palm court was beautiful, the tea selection is huge, and the service was perfect.
Went for restaurant week and it was a big ripoff. It was a tasting not an actual meal. The waitress was not friendly and let us sit there for 10 minutes before greeting and taking our orders. The room is stunning.
Amazing service, beautiful atmosphere, great food and drinks. Will be back every time we visit NYC
We had the loveliest girlfriends weekend away! Thanks for the wonderful way to start our vacation!
There were dirty tables all around, it sean that they needed more staff, the greater was great
Great. Beautiful. Would go again
Love the old world character
it was our first time in this beatiful place an unforgettable experience. I'm sure we'll be back again🍹🍹🍹😍😍😍
Decided to do afternoon tea on the recommendation of a friend and from start to finish it was an amazing experience. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Tea, sandwiches and pastries very nice and what we could not finished they placed in a lovely container and bag for us. Very nice atmosphere and a great place to people watch. Not cheap but worth every penny.
Service was terrible and the food was a joke. The only good part of the meal was the bartender and the drinks he made
The ambient is very upscale and stylish, the food excellent and the service very attentive.
Elvis is the best. Very kind and attentive. The food is very good.
The Palm court was a beautiful experience. Food was good. Ambiance was so nice. The place is beautiful. Service was excellent. Would definitely come back. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.
The ambiance was amazing. Our waitress was so patient and polite with our questions and request. She was very helpful with the menu. A very peaceful atmosphere for such a big restaurant. Definitely a must in New York City
It was absolutely fantastic! Thank you for a beautiful experience!
I've been to the Palm Room several times- and I chose to take my small son to celebrate my birthday. The service was lackluster, the sandwiches were slightly stale, and for the cost, frankly, I'd rather have gone to Alice's Tea Cup.
We had a 2:00 reservation but we had to wait 30 minutes for a table which was annoying. No place to sit while waiting. Loud obnoxious people at the bar were distracting. Rest rooms far away from restaurant. Service and food were excellent!
We really enjoyed it ,, it was my mom’s birthday ..,
The only disappointment was I had 1.30 pm and we were not seated until 15,20 mins after .,,
When the hostess took us to be seated the spot was available even before we checked in as it was next to the bar and we could see the empty clean table while waiting..
I was wondering why we had to wait 20 mins while the table was already available...
The server lady was very sweet though
The breakfast experience at The Palm Court was perfect. Kazi made our time extremly special. We were there for my mother's birthday and the food was perfect, the ambiance was beautiful but the srevice is what really shined. Thank you to Kazi and the Palm Court for such a lovely time.
i was at the plaza for a very special event, reuniting with my new half sister and niece as a result of an incredible sleuthing story on ancestry and 23andme. that in and of itself was magical, topped off by the tea and beautiful setting. truly a treasured life moment and so emotional for me! and then, the most wonderful man was our waiter, elvis. i have to say i have never met a more naturally kinder and attentive waiter! it was extraordinary! before you knew it we were sharing life stories and it was beautiful. my sister had enjoyed a particular tea from south africa and he gave me a sample! i gave it to her and it was a blessing all around of simple kind heartedness from this dear elvis! we vowed to always come back to the palm court as a new family tradition. thank you elvis for being you, it was a wonderful moment in time for all of us!
I took my daughters to a special afternoon tea for my birthday. Everything was delicious, service was amazing and we had a wonderful experience.
We celebrated for my wife’s 60th birthday and they did not disappoint everything was wonderful and the food was delicious.
We absolutely loved the afternoon tea we are from london england and have tried many places in the UK for afternoon tea and the plaza does it in the same way which is wonderful, we also stayed at the hotel so took the cakes back to the room as we couldn’t finish them off . It was amazing!! Cant wait to visit again
For the price point, my branzino and the side vegetables were disappointing. I did like the cheese plate and the ambiance/history of the place though. The drinks are good but extremely overpriced.
Pesimo servicio, la comida normal y muy cara
I had alerted the staff days before that I was bringing my wife her birthday as well as us celebrating our anniversary. They went above and beyond our expectations! Everything was as you’d expect.
Beautiful place, however, once the hostess confirmed an early seating for us we had to stand for almost an hour before seated! The restaurant was not busy at all and many empty seats!! The waitress informed us wrong about their specials and the menu options . The food was overpriced with no taste or presentation- very disappointing! Very disappointing birthday dinner unfortunately.
Amazing food and a decent selection of teas! Very enjoyable!
Always a good time.
Our visit to the Palm Court was a special occasion. We were in New York to celebrate my granddaughter’s 9th birthday. One of our celebratory events was tea at the Palm Court. The 4 adults enjoyed it tremendously, the 8 year old not so much. The food is very much geared to the adults. We would absolutely have adult tea again but would not attempt to make it a special event for a child. As an aside, the bathroom situation (upstairs and wind around for quite a bit to discover 2 stalls, one broken toilet and no toilet paper) certainly did not do the Plaza proud. For a building that was supposedly redone at its last purchase, it seems inconceivable that there is no public toilet for the Palm Court, and the one public bathroom is a travesty.
I brought my mom to Net York for a mother/daughter weekend as a Christmas gift and treated her to Tea. She loved it and we had a lovely time.
Horrible service. Our waiter never came to our table once and our bus boy took our order, but could not explain anything about the tea. We never saw anyone again until we had to ask 3 different people for our check. Was supposed to be a special occasion for my mother’s birthday but the terrible service left us in tears. I did speak with the manager who ended up compensating the meal, but I do not plan to go back.
Hostess was very unfriendly. We found hair in our tea. I had stomachache after eating a sandwich. This is a really overrated place. Not worth visiting.
