The Club Room was originally the ‘dance hall’ for the pub in the 1950’s. It has been fully restored, with the walls returned to the original flint and new stone floors laid with underfloor heating. The Club Room provides an ideal environment for both formal and informal meetings, ‘off sites’ and client presentations. There is an automated drop down screen with capacity to link with a lap top computer (for presentations) and independent audio facilities. The Club Room provides lots of flexibility for those wishing to host a private dinner or a special event. The table can be arranged to seat from 8 up to 30 guests. You can arrange a set menu. We have a dedicated ‘Events Management’ team who here to advise you on what The Packhorse can offer whether it is a business event, a private dining party or a special event.

Enjoyed the meal steak was excellent . Lamb a bit disappointing as only 2 very small bits of lamb.

Good place to go for lunch. Not much atmosphere as it was not very busy. Food tasty, good choices. Serving staff not very welcoming.
