Oyster Loft boasts a menu rich with fresh fish and thoughtfully executed dishes. Our raw bar features a variety of oysters shucked on the half shell from both the east coast and the west. The menu also includes seafood dishes, shellfish preparations and a selection of meat to round out the offerings. The range of the menu offers you the opportunity to choose your dining experience.
We had a wonderful experience at Oyster Loft. From the ambiance to the delicious food, we thoroughly enjoyed celebrating our bride-to-be. They sat us at a beautiful table overlooking the water. The food was delicious, with the scallops being the true MVP of the night. Dessert was also great and I look forward to return in the future.
Great food, great service
The only disappointment was we had reserved a table for 10 which we have done since they opened, but found the tables had been split and bolted to the floor. Therefore our party was split in half. In addition separate tickets could not be produced and after some convincing we were able to get at least the checks split by the divided table.
I hope this restaurant hasn't become in such demand that customer service is declining.
Oyster Loft was a delight! My wife and I loved the decor and atmosphere. The food was exquisite and the drinks were amazing.
Celebrated our anniversary and they surprised us with a little something extra, I won't say what so as not to spoil the surprise! Delicious meals, highly recommend the Ahi Poppers, but everything was delicious!
We were celebrating our anniversary, our favorite place to go...our waiter, Timothy, was personable and knowledgable which helped us make a decision for something different and we were not disappointed. We started with a Luxardo Margarita, a favorite and a special handcrafted Brown Derby, both excellent. Then the Tuna Poppers, another favorite and the only raw fish my husband will eat. Upon suggestion from our server, I ordered the Scallops, so glad I did. Perfectly prepared and my husband had the Mushroom Risotto, again a great choice. This will always be my go to place for special occasions and to bring our friends.
Oysters were amazing!
Great service, great food, great view! Can’t wait to go back!
The Oyster Loft was an A+ Experience. From the Service, Ambiance, View, and Food. I would highly recommend it to Friends and Family.👍😊
Great. Good food.
This was our third birthday celebration at the Oyster Loft and once again had a great experience - expert service, wonderful food and outstanding views of the ocean.
All of our appetizers and main courses were delicious. I especially loved the Brussels sprouts.
Definitely a place to visit overlooking Pismo Beach. Prices are not bad at all for an elegant meal and Ruben was out server. He's fantastic and we would for sure go back to Oyster Loft if we are in the area again.
We enjoyed the oysters as an appetizer, which were excellent in flavor and quality, along with Brussels Sprouts, which were also quite good. The main course was halibut for myself and scallops for my husband. Both rated top notch. Desert was peanut butter chocolate tower, a nice way to finish the meal. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable making the overall experience at the Oyster Loft a 10 level experience.
The food was absolutely amazing. Everything perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and prompt. Not rushed at all. The manager stopped by and made sure we were happy with everything. Well done, oyster loft.
Great experience as always! Love love love the oysters!
Very good food, but it takes a long time from order to table. Service was adequate but not great as we had to ask three times for bread. This is a good place for oysters as they were fresh.
While to food and the location are quite good, it does not make up for the poor quality service and high price. I’ve now been three times and the service has been consistently bad. Delays and, this last time, downright rudeness when the waiter told our table ‘you did it ask for a split check and I have other things I need to be doing’ when we asked if he could split the bill.
Oyster Loft continues to amaze with new delicious plates.
Food and service was good and I would return again. I had Salmon my husband had fanny bay oysters and cioppino, he enjoyed it very much.
Food was excellent! A little pricey what way worth it! High class restaurant with a great view!
Fabulous food and very fancy service. Loved the oysters, hamachi, tempura and halibut. All topped off with a delicious complementary dessert- the caramel basket- for our anniversary! Definitely will be back
Excellent ambiance, food and service with a sunset view to boot!
Food and service is always exceptional
Best seafood in the area, wouldn't mind a little more hard booze in my mixed drink. The service staff is A+ and delightful, the view at sunset is fantastic, the leather bucket chairs are hell on the lower back and have got to go, (they switched mine for a steel frame chair). And it's a bit pricey but the menu selection and quality of the cuisine never let's you down.
Great Greater. Greatest. Well done. Awesome fabulous. Will be back
Everything was really good
Are server was helpful
Beautiful evening on the patio. Great food. Pricey but worth it.
Amazing food great service highly recommend this place. Would be impressive anywhere can’t believe it’s in Pismo Beach
Portions were a bit small. Other than that, HIGHLY recommend
This was our first (and last) visit and we made reservations for my birthday. We were seated right outside the kitchen, very noisy! We preferred the patio and we asked to move. There were not many people at 5! The pre-dinner cocktail tasted like bad water with a lime twist and the meal was not all that either!!
My server Brie was amazing, the service was excellent. I booked a reservations for the patio, and they seated me inside in the sun in an area without air flow. I sat and watched tables on the patio sit open the entire time I was there. I assume being alone, they thought I wouldn’t spend enough to warrant a good seat. Won’t go back or recommend. I did ask why I was not seated on the patio, and was told they were full. Not.
My wife and I had a reservation and were seated at 8:20 PM on a Sunday. We were not served the main course until 10 PM. Lots of excuses and the story changed from waitress to assistant manager. Due to the long wait we asked for a glass of wine at restaurant's expense which request was curtly and rudely refused. We will not return.
Three people at our table ordered the skate and found it excellent. I had two of the appetizers and they were delicious! Waiter was friendly and helpful!
We made reservations a few weeks in advance and requested sunset seating for a special occasion. I really do think they gave us the best table there. It was inside with a beautiful view of the beach and sunset (plan accordingly!) It was a relaxed- slower pace dinner. Wine, Beer and Mixed drinks were all available. Our waiter was sweet and tentative. There was a wait for the dinner, but I can guarantee it is fresh and made to perfection! It was well worth the wait and the price. It melts in your mouth! My boyfriend also tried Oysters for the first time, they were able to provide a good variety of options. Would love to visit again next time we are in town.
My fiancée and I came to the Oyster Loft for his Birthday. I had requested an ocean view table. When we got there, we got sat immediately and our table was outside with a beautiful ocean view! Our server Rubin was fantastic. He was polite and on point. We ordered charbroiled oysters and the pepper seared himachi as an appetizer and it did not disappoint. Our main meal was even more delicious, Cioppino and hangar steak!! As for the deserts we couldn't decide so we got two! The tiramisu and peanut butter chocolate tower, both were so good! The manager was also very friendly and I appreciated the fact that he was checking in on his guests, which seems to be a forgotten art on the central coast. Overall experience and conversation with the staff was five star through and through. We cannot wait to go back, and also take advantage of their happy hour!! Thank you Oyster Loft for creating a wonderful evening with wonderful service, food and drink!
Delicious food, friendly staff, and a perfect place to end a visit to Pismo.
Terrible service. We arrived before place was busy and We sat for over 10 min before the water approached our table. Another floor staff kept trying to remove plates while people at the table were eating and instead of removing glasses and plates from
Proper side reached over and in front of everyone to remove their wine glasses and plates. Very Poor training. The food and plating were good but the food is only part of a good restaurant experience
First, I'll start be stating we were frequent diners at the Oyster Loft. We usually have a great experience but were quite let down when our request for a patio table made more than a month in advance was not available. We were told if we wanted the patio it would be an additional hour wait time. We had come for a special birthday so didn't want to leave. We were sent to the back of the restaurant to a table in front of a large window. It was such a hot spot we had to lower the blinds and any view we might have had disappeared. The table itself had some sort of sticky coating on it that made the silverware and glasses stick to it. We had to really grasp at them to pull the away from the table surface. This restaurant is pricey but we usually don't mind. However, the lack of the view certainly brought down the overall experience. Going forward if we can't get the patio table we will likely take a pass on this restaurant. It's a shame we did love it so much.
