The Osprey Tavern
We love Dabney and bringing new friends every weekend
We go to Osprey often! The service is always good and the food is always served timely! The only negative thing I have to say is I do not believe they change items on their menu enough and as someone who does not love seafood or entrée size portions… It would be nice if they would add some additional appetizer choices
4th Trip. Great specials, good wine list. Prices aren’t crazy! We will be back!
Always an excellent experience- from the food and ambience to the lovely service. I’m forever a fan of the Osprey Tavern
Sunday brunch was delicious, and everyone in our party found something the loved. Get there early if you want their special pastry. Our server downplayed dessert which made it too easy not to have some!
We have been here to eat twice now. First on Valentines with our baby and then on St Patty’s just the two of us. We love the atmosphere. Sat by the window near the entrance both times and the noise level is perfect to chat but not too quiet. Our waiter was Austin both times and he even remembered us. We will definitely be back and requesting Austin here on out. Great Service!
One of my favorite Orlando treasures! Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING!
Went to Osprey Tavern on the recommendation of a friend for my mom’s birthday. Very helpful & friendly staff, food excellent, and they helped us surprise her with our homemade birthday cake, carried out with candles blazing. Made for a wonderful evening all around.
This was a perfect date night. The atmosphere was so comfortable and I loved the decor. I started with the drink “a friend of a friend” which was delicious. Sweet but not overwhelming. We then had the cheese and meat board appetizer which had exactly what I love on it! And the pickled radishes were amazing. The other pickled veggies were a bit underdone like they had not been pickled long enough. For dinner I had the Florida golden tilefish which was OUTSTANDING!!! I ate all of it and I rarely finish an entire meal. My boyfriend had the duck and although he liked the taste of everything with the duck, he was not impressed by the duck itself. For dessert I had the devils food cake with passion fruit and by boyfriend had the pans cotta with housemade ice cream. We loved this place and will definitely be doing back in the future.
The entire Baldwin Park is wonderful respite in the heart of Orlando. Osprey Tavern is the gem of this charming neighborhood. They have an extensive menu highlighted by a fantastic Beef Tartar and Wood Grilled Oysters. I always make it a point to visit Osprey when in town.
Excellent service, good food! Celebrated a wonderful 70th birthday dinner.
All of us had a very enjoyable light dinner with a little libation to go with it. I ended up getting the 20 oz. pork chop and I wasn't disappointed.
We were here to celebrate a 50th Birthday and they even printed special menus that said, “Happy Birthday Lisa”. Very nice touch!
The Osprey was terrific! This is our 3rd time having dinner there. A great location...terrific foot...great service...and a lively environment. It's not inexpensive...but the quality is worth it.
I'd recommend The Osprey Tavern any time.
Food cold and the restaurant also - very bad experince
We had a lovely brunch at The Osprey Tavern. Our server, Bridgett was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was well prepared with a nice presentation. Our party enjoyed a variety from the menu including The Hash, Johnny Cakes and Steak and Eggs. The bottomless Mimosas were delivered whenever we were ready. Be mindful refills on coffee are not free.
Osprey Tavern was a first try for us. We were out for his birthday and had an amazing time at Osprey Tavern. Our server, Marissa was very attentive and the food was 5 star. We will be back.
I look forward to coming back here. Everything we had was delicious and the service was great. They servers take their time with you and are very knowledgeable about all the items in the menu. The ambiance is spectacular. All in good taste
fantastic service and food. love the menu. creative dishes that are built so well.
Service was off and a bit slow. Two tables arriving after us were served before us. My soft scrambled eggs were cold and sent back. They took the same eggs, threw them back on the grill and returned them to me. No longer soft scrambled at that point. I like Osprey but they are not cheap so the expectations are a bight higher in my opinion.
The food was amazing and the server (Marissa) was awesome! She was very observant while taking care of her section. If our drinks were low, she’d check in and ask if we needed another. My wife had the duck while I had the pork chop for the main entrees. Both were recommended at medium and both came out delicious! Happy hour was going on at the time so we had the tartare and grouper croquettes to start. I had a couple of old fashions and the wife had some “oops! All berries” gin cocktail. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back!
Trendy spot with very unique menu. Will definitely go back. Oysters were amazing!
Osprey is a great restaurant. I have eaten there several times and it has been a great experience each time. The menu varies, but is always a nice combination of flavors.
Went there for dinner to celebrate St Valentine’s Day. First time going everything was great. Definitely will go again.
Osprey has delicious food that is well presented 75% of the time. I've been a few times now and each time has had its ups and downs. The biggest challenge I've found is something always comes out cold, or late. Once, our main course was significantly delayed and the waitress was very apologetic. Another time, the truffle mac and cheese was cold. Another, the parker house rolls were chilled in the middle but toasty on the outside (like they'd been refrigerated then put under a heat lamp). Overall I would recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is outstanding, but there is always a small bump you wouldn't expect to experience when paying $45 for a steak.
First time eating at Osprey for Valentine's Day, comfortable and service was very good. Biggest issue was the food selection, quality and price. a la carte. Food had an unusual taste in the way it was prepared and cooked. Expected a high quality of meat, it was not tender, as told it would be by waiter. Osprey might be a good location for happy hour and appetizers. You even had to pay for bread that look like it came out of a package from Publix. With everything being a la carte, needless to say, it was a very expensive evening. At least we tried Osprey but could not recommend it for dinner, especially with families.
We’ve eaten here numerous times and always great food and service. Was really pleased they didn’t raise prices for Valentine’s like other restaurants. Great happy hour too!
Service and food were perfect. John our server was amazing. Definitely a go to place!!
Love Osprey!!! The food, atmosphere, and service are excellent. Highly recommend.
Celebrated birthdays with friends. Our waiter was amazing and food never disappoints. Great atmosphere, can’t speak highly enough for this spot!
Food was excellent. We had a very nice, friendly server. We had to remind her a couple times on items, but we enjoyed her. Would definitely go back for brunch.
I would have given the food 5 stars but we had a couple people in our group get the eggs Benedict and the poached eggs were hard boiled. Our server even tried to rectify the situation by bringing more poached eggs but they came out hard boiled as well. Other than that everyone else’s food was incredible and our server was one of the best servers I’ve ever had! You also cannot go wrong with bottomless mimosas!
We hadn't been her in a while (2 years) after a bad experience with an up charge. This trip our waiter was amazing and we had told him why we hadn't been there in a while. He made sure we had a great experience and then some. Thank you Dabne for the wonderful service good humor and your knowledge of wine!
We will be back.
Food and service were impeccable. It was a Friday night, so busy as expected so a bit loud, but overall a phenomenal meal. Best charcuterie plate and pork chop ever.
Osprey Tavern is our new "go to" place to celebrate happy times! We went again, mainly for the oysters (amazing) and enjoyed happy hour and great food while celebrating a family birthday. Believe it or not, parking was not a problem, especially on a Thursday night. Highly recommend Osprey Tavern in Baldwin Park.
Great spot all around
Constantly good quality and very good service. We just love the Osprey and we are coming back for sure
Great venue and ambiance. The menu has a good selection and not overwhelming. The pork rinds we ordered came out cold. Fish was phenomenal. Pork chops was mediocre. The truffle Mac and Cheese was bomb. Pricey but it is Baldwin Park. Will visit again but not in the near future.
Delicious oysters and ribeye, wonderful service!
