Great food, ambience and service. Great place for locals to get aways from the tourist restaurants.
Osprey is consistent with food quality and service. However these days, I would love to see restaurants putting an extra effort to demonstrate their customers that they care about hygiene. For example wiping tables before they seat the customers would be a good measure. I hope Osprey starts doing this
How can a restaurant replace the most popular item on their menu? I am talking about what was a spectacular wood fired pork chop. They have discontinued it. We were just shocked when told it had been replaced with a pork roast. So we ordered the pork roast. Not nearly as good. I don’t know why this was done but if it was due to a price increase charge us more but don’t do a foolhardy thing of just dumping the most popular item on your menu. Trust me. Your pork chop was why we came to your restaurant repeatedly. BRING IT BACK!
Excellent!
I always love going to Osprey Tavern! The food is always incredible and the service is top notch.
Delicious food, great drinks, fantastic service all in a chic designed spot...highly recommend at least one visit but maybe two, one during Happy Hour and another for a fun night out for dinner and/or drinks
Wonderful meal, service energetic and friendly! Beautiful area of Orlando!
We were there fro brunch and come often for weekend brunch and dinner during the week and on the weekends. The food, ambiance, and service are excellent. When we have friends from out of town we take them here. We will be back!
We arrived before they opened. The staff was friendly and everything was amazing.
Food and menu is not as good as it used to be a couple of years ago.... they have gone “safe” with everyday menu items you can get anywhere..... bring back the Cottage Pie!
Osprey Tavern was a really big part in celebrating our 25th anniversary! Thank you! It was fantastic!
We were seated immediately. Friendly service. Only complaint: too loud. Difficult to have a conversation. I would not go there with more than 4 people in a party.
While visiting Winter Park we celebrated our Anniversary. The service that GM Abby provided us was exceptional. We will ALWAYS VISIT when we are in the area.
Thanks again Abby.

Service was slow and non caring. Instead of herbal tea I was given regular caffeinated tea late in the venting and stayed up awake all night.
Burger was dry and without flavor. Supposedly well known grilled oysters were cold and not much flavor to speak of.
Good luck getting server’s attention. They appear uncoordinated and under trained. Rapid decline overall since I first started coming to this place.
A great place for happy hour with oyster specials, appetizers and drink specials.
Great food & nice atmosphere, however was in a bit of a rush (although there was lots of open seating with no waitlist) signaling us to leave which gave off an "unwelcoming" experience.
Unfortunately didn’t really hit the mark for us. Service was good ambiance was nice however the oysters and chicken wing appetizer where not good for us. The entrees where nice tile fish and brazing. The dessert wasn’t worth it.
Amazing service!! Danielle was both knowledgeable about the food and its preparation, and gave great suggestions on her own favorites. We took her advice and had an amazing meal.
Our server Danielle is amazing and our dinner was excellent
Always have an amazing experience at Osprey! We regularly go for special occasions but they have a killer Happy Hour that is a must try! A wonderful local spot that accommodates all kind of food restrictions. 10/10
We went for brunch and we thought it took a while for the waiter to come over to greet us so we sat for a bit waiting. Took a while to get our coffee once ordered. We started off with the donut holes with strawberry sauce. The sauce was the highlight as the donuts themselves had zero flavor. They put such a light Dusting of powdered sugar that they missed most the donuts (not that that made a flavor difference). The main courses were cold, so that was highly disappointing. If you look at the atmosphere you think you’re in a high-class restaurant. They even have heat lamps, so we couldn’t understand why the Benedict and the waffle were not hot. The restaurant was busy but it was not packed so the amount of customers really had nothing to do with it. And they’ve been open for a while so I would tend to think that they know how to handle the crowd and their brunch. Anyway, the waffle wasn’t bad - nothing to write home about. I had to request maple syrup and my wife and I laughed because apparently syrup and coffee creamer are like liquid gold to this restaurant- such small pre-portioned amounts one almost feels guilty using them (or getting more ha). I took a picture to reference the size of the coffee v. Syrup v. Cream. The Benedict had a sweet tomato jam and the Canadian bacon was also sweet so couple of those two together and the Benedict was entirely too sweet. I will say they did do a nice job on the poached eggs (they weren’t over done). Anyway, we won’t be going back for brunch. It just wasn’t impressive.
We have been to the Osprey Tavern for brunch, dinner, cocktails and appetizers, and we've yet to be disappointed. The food, service, and value are all outstanding. This has become a go to place for us.
Austin was our waiter and hands down best service!!!! I would definitely want him to assist me on my next visit. The ambiance, food, and price were perfect. Such an variety of wine to choose from as well!!
Always exceptional. Service was spot on. Drinks were excellent (the red wine is always good here, served at the correct temperature etc.) and delicious food. Highly recommend
Great HH, Old Fashions for $6! $1 oysters! Loved the pastas, our server Peter, the whole vibe.
Excellent every time, great for brunch, delicious for happy hour, outstanding for dinner. One of Orlando’s gems
Really special to see the message Happy Birthday to the birthday person in our dinner party.
We went for my fiancé’s birthday. It was a fitting part of a perfect night. I forgot what our server’s name was. Andrew, I think,(the guy with the clear glasses frames). Service was impeccable. Food was amazing. The recommendations were on point. We will definitely be back soon with bells on.
Always a nice choice for atmosphere. Missed the Parker house rolls on menu. Short ribs best ever.
Enjoyed Oysters
Great menu and food- will definitely be back!
We love the Osprey Tavern but our meal Friday was outstanding!! Best short rib I’ve ever had! Service was above and beyond!
I’ve been to Osprey about 15 times in the last couple years and the food was really disappointing last night. The ribeye was thin, undercooked, and under seasoned. It wasn’t just mine, but a couple others for the party of 8 we had. The mushrooms were rubbery and drinks were very slow to come out. The yuca was overcooked, hard, dry, and had zero seasoning. Kind of a let down considering all of my previous experiences there were great. I’m hoping this is an isolated case and not the result of some permanent change they’ve made there. I don’t mind spending $200 on dinner for two (my date and I at this Birthday gathering for 8 people), but not if this is going to be the result. Too many other great restaurants in the area. I hope you guys figure out what’s going on there and turn things around.
Food was excellent, great flavor, made to our liking. Our server Mr Dabney was wonderful as always. Polite, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for remembering us. The Maitre d is always polite and welcoming. We had a wonderful evening.
Worst service ever! The server was an arrogant, snarky little punk with an attitude and the manger was just as bad. Don't go! The food was delicious but the service was so so bad I'll never go back.
Love all of the food that comes out of the grill/oven thing. The branzino is a must try!
We were greeted pleasantly and promptly on our arrival and seated thereafter. Our dining experience began with a pleasant server introducing himself. and taking our drink order. That quality of service continued throughout the meal. The food was delicious; the wine list while limited, but diverse was complementary to the meal; the dessert was flavorful and just enough to finish the dining experience. Would highly recommend to any one looking for a pleasant and relaxing dining experience.
Awesome place, great food, friendly staff. Can’t wait to go back.
Happy hour is a great value.
I went to lunch with one of my girlfriend's at Osprey and had an awesome time. She brought her dog, so we were seated on the patio area. Benji enjoyed the attention from literally everybody around, while we also enjoyed being catered to by Dabney. One of the most attentive servers, not to mention funny and personable. It's few and far between when a server goes out of their way to ask your names and make that personal connection. We'll definitely be back and will certainly request to hang out with Dabney during our experience again!
