Service was excellent food was great. Really enjoyed the ambience
We tried it for the first time for my son's 11th family birthday because it was different and we are hungry for character. It did not disappoint with character or food but service was NOT good. There were some big parties and communication was good for timing issues but we waited a while for our drinks to be filled, checking back and getting our bill. I am glad I went but there are other places we will try before we go back.
Fantastic!!! Service, food, and especially the ambiance!
Very good Italian in Vegas. Waitstaff was very attentive
Always a great experience at Capo's! Excellent drinks, ambiance, music and service. The food is fantastic as well! I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to get off the strip for a meal. Well worth the drive or the cost of an Uber. And don't forget the password :)
Very nice ambiance. Lots of variety in the food and very filling. Great service and prices. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a nice evening out.
Love this place but the singer was way too loud. The dude doing the card tricks was amazing.
My sister recommended this place for my last night with friend's in Vegas. It didn't disappoint. Was great fun being 'allowed' in even though we were Irish :) The atmosphere was fun, following the speakeasy theme and the food was spectacular. I've already recommended it to friends on their trip to Vegas and I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town. Well done to all.
The entrance to the restaurant is truly entertaining and adds to the appeal of the inside atmosphere. Once inside the scene is set with low lighting, fun memorabilia and a piano bar.
While in Vegas, I was excited to try this restaurant. Thought it would be a nice break from the strip and the insane pricing. Nope! The veal was maybe 4 oz. extremely tough and my pasta which I ordered light sauce was swimming in sauce $28. My wife had the chicken piccata, never had chicken cutlets that tough, she might have gotten 5 oz. $26. I forgot to mention, you do get a handful of soggy spring mix, and a 1/8 of a canned artichoke heart for a started...included!!! Overall the "gag" when ringing the bell is about the only thing worth the trip, but honestly, I think I would have been much happier, if he didn't let me in...
Heard about this place online, thought it might be interesting. Gaining entrance was the most unique aspect of the experience. Was all downhill from there. Chose this place for 60th BD, and was sorely disappointed. Wife and I were seated at the entrance (not very romantic) which is directly across from the open kitchen area, with cooks/chef shouting out orders constantly. Room too dark to be enjoyable. Could not really see the food, much less wife across the table--they have little pushbutton LED flashlights attached to the menus so you can read them!). Food: Calamari was barely fried, with breading falling off. My Veal Parmigiana was tough, over-breaded, and piled with too much cheese/sauce--a mess, really. Best part of the meal was the glass of wine. Our server was attentive enough, but hard to hear, and not very sociable. This place needs a rescue of some sort. Would not recommend or return.
everything was great except the service. the waiter didn't seem to know what he was doing and it took us forever to get waited on. we were the first ones in the restaurant. he wasn't in a hurry to get anything for us.
Great staff, the service is awesome and the piano player is really great. The food is old school and delicious.
Fun atmosphere. Do not sit near kitchen, so noisy that it is unbearable. Chicken parmigiana was great ravioli was very bad and fetucinni had no taste. Told them it was sons bday and they ignored him yet dang to other patrons. It is fun to go to once but never again
I have been there before and took my son for his birthday, I dresses the part and drove my 1931 to the place. It was great food, magician and singing. We had to wait about 2 0 minutes even though we had a reservation . but it was well worth it will be there again.
We wanted a special last dinner in Vegas with our family but wanted to get off the strip. We had a wonderful dinner at Capo's! It's loud for sure - a little hard to hear one another, but the atmosphere is fun and celebratory, the staff was terrific, and the food was delicious! We had a great time with the magician as well. Have a small tip ready.
Great meatballs and excellent Margaritas. Cool place. Different and ggun.
Can't tell you how the food was, didn't get to eat. Waited an hour and half. Waiter was very rude too
A great restaurant and a great getaway from all the chain restaurants out there. Ambiance was great, food was excellent.
A fun atmosphere. Live music at night time. Sinatra like singer. Food was great. A little off the beaten path. Kind of more a novelty place than a repeat do
Unique entry. Too dark. Sinatra music ok. Great lasagna, veal piccata so-so. Wait staff friendly and prompt. Prices comparable to most Vegas eateries. All-in-all enjoyed the experience but nothing makes me want to rush back.
It is a great throw back from the classic “old school” Italian restaurant experience I remember from my childhood. (I was an only child and went everywhere with my parents in the 60’s)
The service was outstanding, the live music was an amazing surprise, the dark and “mob” like sultry atmosphere, made for a sexy date night BUT the FOOD, is why I will come back! The best carbonara I have ever had... seriously! The meatball appetizer and garlic cheese bread was fantastic. Even the salads were deliciously... clearly, in house made dressing!
It is also cool that you need a secret password to get in... in the secret entrance. Call... tell them I sent you... ask for the password of the day.... then, go and have your best night in Vegas. (So much better than Sinatra... seriously, don’t waste your money)
Even with a reservation they sat us (2 people) in a side room completely isolated from the rest of the restaurant. We went here because of the reviews and ambiance but didn’t experience anything special. Food was mediocre... service was ok.
Love the ambiance its a great surprise!
Unique, old style Speakeasy with great atmosphere, excellent food, friendly staff, and great cocktails. Great value as well especially for the quality food, drink. and service we received. Will come again next time in town..
Great environment, food was amazing and so was the service. It helped that we got mimosas!!
It was a wonderful experience. Always a great night out
I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant! I had made so many ridiculous request for my boyfriends birthday and they completed every one. My main request was to help me make my boyfriend feel like a “don” for his birthday and they sure did!! Not only was the staff amazing but the food. Oh wow the food was AMAZING. I can’t wait until my next visit here at Capos.
Pre-birthday dinner for my mother. Such a wonderful experience from beginning to end! Great food, attentive service & the singer was great, too. We really enjoyed it!
Food was good. However, we were in the back room where you have curtains between you and the kitchen. Constant kitchen noise, listening to staff and when their back door would open, a blast of cigarette smoke. We had been once before in the main room and were pleased but this time was disappointing. Capo’s needs to fix this space immediately.
Best italian food in vegas!!! Little pricey but what isnt in Vegas
The setting was great and had a Italian monster type setting. This was very cool how they set up the entrance. This is a must dining experience.
Great spot! Worth the trip off the strip. Speakeasy entrance was cool and inside made you feel like you were part of the select crowd. The food was tremendous, the calamari was excellent. The chicken and eggplant parmesans were tremendous! The "spicy" house sauce was delectable.
OMG This place was way better than we expected. Food portions so large only 2 of 7 did not take some home, and were still stuffed to the gills, because food was so good you did not want to stop eating it, even when full. Staff were a blast, they did a great job and stayed friendly the entire time, and never forgot us.
We were referred by my son's friend who lives in town. (We came from Oregon.) He didn't tell us much ahead of time for good reason; it's a really fun place! Food was excellent Italian with good variety and well prepared. When they say 'speakeasy' they mean it. Google "Speakeasy" so you know what that entails and you'll know what you're in for when you show up. Great service, great food, live entertainment consistent with that era and just a great fun time! Definately going back next time we're in Vegas again!
Throughbsvk to the 50-60’s. Fun speakeasy but food surprisingly excellent. Had carbonara and veal parmigiana. Both excellent
My friends and I were on a dude's trip to Vegas and wanted some good food that wouldn't necessarily cost us over $100 each. Found this place on TripAdvisor and it did not disappoint. Cool atmosphere down to the "secret" entrance and host, the piano man, and the old-school plush, loungy feel. Six of us shared 2 appetizers, 2 good bottles of wine, and each had and entree and it only cost about $65/each with tip. Could have been double that on the strip. The food was excellent, particularly the meatballs and stuffed chicken dishes. The only "negative" was that the server (who was helpful and personable) didn't check in very often after we actually ordered and it took a while to get the check. Minor inconveniences though for a great meal. Good spot for a group of friends, birthday dinner, or other special occasion.
This has to be my favorite place to eat in Las Vegas. I have been over 10 times. I have taken so many people to this place and it never dissappoints. And everybody thinks I'm awesome for recommeding such a great place. It is authentic and the fun never stops from the second you enter the door until you leave. Mob style!
My husband & I discovered Capo’s this time last year; we loved it. Fun atmosphere, delicious food, good value for “Vegas.” We returned this year with my husbands parents. I knew they’d appreciate the ambience—— you did not disappoint; they loved the whole shabang!
We had a great meal & a fun evening.
I even was able to cue the singer to seranade my mother in law a little bit.
Love you guys. Only wish you were up here in North Idaho!! Lol
