Whenever I come to town Capo's is a must for us to go to. We were there on business and I couldn't wait to have our clients try this place! The food was great, two of us ordered the sausage with our meal but when we ate it we didn't care for the flavor of it all. We told the waitress that we'd rather have the meatballs instead but she had to get approval from her manager first. She then came back out saying that in order for them to not charge us an additional charge she'd have to take back the sausage to prove that we didn't eat it. Tacky if you ask me. Other than this, everything was great.
We ordered 7 different plates, everything was GREAT.
I’ve always enjoyed Capo’s since my first visit and will always come back. The food is simply the best Italian food that I’ve ever eaten.
Our reservation was for 5pm but we arrived early to sit at the bar and have a cocktail. The host sat us at our table early which was nice. Our server was Ed, he was on top of everything-he was warm and informative about the menu-it was our first time there. I recommend the meatballs and calamari as an app. My Husband had the veal-it was tender and the risotto was cooked perfectly. I went for the seafood cioppino, you get a lot of seafood including a lobster tail but it was supposed to be spicy (diavlo) it was mild at best which was a little disappointing. It was a beautiful atmosphere, great service and we had a wonderful experience. We will deff be back soon!
Fun, enjoyable, unique restaurant. Good food and friendly, attentive staff.
What a blast! Speakeasy, fun staff, yummy food!!!
Love this place, been more than a dozen times and always fantastic, great food, service and atmosphere. Can be a bit noisy, but it’s not enough to be a turn off.
It was our first time at Capo"s. We loved the whole experience! We were there for a lunch anniversary. We want to go back for dinner to hear the live music. Food was really good. Service was great. The whole theme and decor made it a fun experience.
Second time here - absolutely amazing !
Had a really good time here on a Friday night with my husband. Authentic, really good Italian food in a speakeasy with live music (one guy who played guitar and piano). He was interactive with the birthday table up front. We had a cozy booth. The Capo's pasta dish was delicious and his chicken special dish with white wine and caper's was delicious! This is a little out of the way and off the strip but was well worth the 15 min cab from Mandalay. You just aren't likely to hangout in the area after dinner. Only semi-negative thing was they had two people working a section so we felt like they asked us how we were twice as much as we really needed. But they were very attentive and always had anything we needed!
